Very disappointed have gone to this restaurant numerous times after church for Sunday brunch. Found out today after being seated that they no longer serve breakfast till noon on Sunday and that they Stop at 11 o’clock it was 1115 when we arrive. Guess we’ll have to find another place for Sunday brunch.

This Friendlys recently remodeled and changed their menu. The menu is MUCH smaller, which would be fine but they also cut easily half of the ice cream selections and half of the ice cream flavors. We only ordered ice cream — simple hot fudge sundae. The ice cream had melted and was soup. The hot fudge has a seriously bad burned, gritty taste. My wife didn’t have a cherry on top, but a very hard cherry pit. We would have said something to our waitress but we never saw her again. My wife actually had to just about tackle another waitress just so we could get our check — after waiting 20 minutes for it. The food here has always been marginal, but the ice cream made it worthwhile — not anymore. There are many other ice cream places around and now they are better than Friendlys.

After making waitress aware of hair in my 5 yr Olds food she shrugged it off… after voicing our opinion and stating to other staff no one wanted to do anything no one cares if it was not for this may have rated 5 stars

I member Friendly’s from my days of living in Orlando. Only went here to have dessert, which was the Reese’s Pieces Sundae. Taste the same as I remember it from 20 years ago, just not in the big bowl, and it was amazing! The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was also clean. Nice place to wind down with a great sundae at the end of the day.

I am only rating on ice-cream — we live in FL and they closed ALL our Friendly’s… So this is our first stop when we come to visit VT! If you haven’t had a Fribble… You have not lived

Friendly’s is what it is. Inexpensive, quick and great for any family. Just strait up American greasy food on top of that! While the food isn’t anything special is still ok. Both of us ordered the BBQ melt sandwich that came with fries. The sandwich tasted good but the fries are a little on the bland side but thats what I expected and I’m not a huge fry fan to begin with. However, I found my self in that rare mood wanting them! So they held me over just fine. The little one got a few slider burgers and broccoli to go with it! Seemed good as she ended up eating most of it! The staff was pretty helpful and quick to take orders. And to add just one funny side story here I even spilled my drink like a real winner! They didn’t even seemed annoyed by this. They even quickly helped us clean it up. I felt bad about it but I must admit it was a little funny. Something I would have expected by a kid and not the adult! But it was still great. The restaurant it self is also kept pretty clean.(Until I came along anyways!) Some of the booths are small but they still offer a good amount of seating here. We even expected it to be a little bit louder than it was but it was still quiet enough to have a conversation. Friendly’s even offers free WiFi and that is something I never even knew! So over all it was a good dinner stop. It’s great for the family and its even easy on the wallet! Great over all experience during our dinner out.

We came here a few weeks ago. We sat in the restaurant instead of ordering from the front and eating outside. We were seated pretty quickly. We don’t have Friendly’s on the west coast, this place reminds me a little of Denny’s. The service was quick and we got our sundaes pretty quickly. The prices are pretty cheap too. I will come back again for another cheap sundae :) if I am in the area.

I’ve always heard good things about Friendly’s and i always like to try«regional foods» so why not. Had a clambox special and i wasn’t dissappointed. Meaty and plentiful. This place to me is a combination of these restaurants: Steak & Shakes, Frenchy’s Frozen Custard and Baskin Robbin’s. I wouldn’t mind having some down in Houston. I’d frequent it.

One of the last Friendly’s standing. They keep it alive. It’s not great, but it’s consistent.

Yes, this Friendly’s location is STILLOPEN! I was thrilled to discover this when my 10 year old decided we should go to Friendly’s for our night out. When she asked that all I could think of were the empty lot at Dorset and Williston Rd. Also that empty spot on the hill across from Colchester Shaw’s came to mind. So I made the quick call to the Taft Corners Friendly’s and was greeted with a relief of «Hello, Friendly’s Williston» ! This place is booming with business, still. We showed up on a Thursday and every booth/table was filled. But our wait was very short, like 5 minutes. The waiting area out front is a bit small but they have a great little enclosed ice cream counter out front which is a super aspect of Friendly’s. Service is VERY fast and I really must say, in the years I’ve been coming here they have REALLY stepped up the«friendly» aspect of it as well. From the host to the waitress and everyone else I could see had a smile, a welcoming tone and just plain NICE! Despite how crazy it was it seemed like everyone working here knew how to deal with the stress and still give off an air of happiness. So nice to see. The food, well it’s just basic comfort food. I usually go with the supermelts as you don’t see those much unless you head to a diner. I think I got the buffalo chicken and bacon supermelt. I have to say it’s A LOT of food. The bread and the cheese are extremely filling. I do like how the menus actually give you calorie counts but good luck finding much in terms of healthy… your best bet is the smaller portioned lower calorie meals(which they do have). The meal comes with a free sundae so I did manage to get started on Ice Cream after. They shine with ice cream options and still do very well with it. Price? DIRTCHEAP. For the amount of food my daughter and I wolfed down we got out of there with a steal at about $ 28 with tip! I really do hope this Friendly’s location holds out. Williston Taft Corners is a hopping place and the area really does need a cheap but decent food option. I think this is it folks… you can’t go wrong for tasty cheap food.(and ice cream :))
