Good experience buying a mattress here. Staff was helpful even though I was an admitted pain in the arse. Prices vary, some great deals and some better prices can be found elsewhere. Overall I’d recommend the store, and would suggest arriving early in the morning because choosing a mattress is hard!

My boyfriend and I just bought a mattress from this store; we love it! What made Vermont Mattress Depot a great experience for us was Pete– the person who helped us pick out our mattress. He is so very nice and helpful and did not pressure us at all during our mattress search, which was a relief! Thank you, Pete! It was a very positive experience, from purchase to delivery.

Mattress, frame and everything was ordered a few weeks before I moved to my new place. Not only was it delivered on time but the moving crew was great as well.
Vermont Mattress Depot will schedule a 2 hour window for the delivery. They will bring everything up and even set it up for you. The moving crew was great as well and very personable. They work quickly and after they got to my place they where done within 30 minutes.
The bed it self was very comfortable and gave me one of the best nights of sleep that I have had in a long time. I ended up getting a Serta Majestic sleep heathrow mattress, Low Arch Spindle platform bed frame and a drawers set that goes under the bed. The mattress it self was very plush and just over all comfortable. The frame was solid wood and no cheap in any form. Over all I’m perfectly happy with my buy. When I look to upgrade my bed’s size (Moving to a bigger place) I will surely be back and support them!
Vermont Mattress Depot is just a great locally owned company. The company knows it’s way around mattresses and furniture in general! You can not go wrong stopping in and checking them out. There is a rumor out on the street that they are expanding here very soon. I’m happy to hear that and hope they are! I look forward to my next dealings with this local company.

This is the second time I’ve purchased a mattress from VMD. I just can’t get enough of them. Sean even remembered my name AND address — if that doesn’t prove how much they value their customers, I don’t know what does. As always, they were extremely helpful and SO patient. I am the most indecisive person but the guys were more than happy to help me pick out a good one. I had purchased a queen size bed two years prior but had to downgrade to a full size because I moved. I told them that I had some back pain with the last one so they were really intentional in giving me more information about the next one I got.
I am getting my mattress delivered today and I literally called two minutes before they were about to head out and asked if they could add on a box spring + frame and they did! The lady I talked to was soooo kind and went out of her way to stop the truck from leaving. I believe that if it were any other store, they would have just told me the truck already left.

I would never hesitate to buy from Vermont Mattress Depot. The store is run by classy, intelligent folks who truly care about their customers.

Great selection, however the good news stops there. I was initailly helped by an employee and was asking questions that he didn’t have answers too. so he went to go get a «manager» and never came back! I was left in the store alone for the rest of the time. They also claim to have «wholesale» prices, and after going to multiple different stores they were average if not slightly above what other stores were selling the same beds for. I walked out more confused, than when I walked in. Not a good experience at all!

What a POSITIVE EXPERIENCE! I can’t say enough about the young couple who run this store! I had a mattress (from another store) that I wasn’t happy with. I explained to Sean, the owner, what I didn’t like about the one I had and also what I was hoping to find. Not only did he take the time to ask me questions (instead of telling me what I would want) but he showed me much nicer options in my price range. I didn’t feel pressured at all, and he and his wife took the time to let me find the right fit for me. Their customer service was what you hope to find when making any large investment.
