So, I hit that 30+ year old age bracket and going into Victoria’s Secret makes me feel old. NO woman wants to feel old shopping for underwear. So in walking through the mall I dropped into Soma. The store clerk who greeted me did so with an extended handshake and asked my name. She then asked if I had received a fitting lately, to which I realized I’ve never had one. She escorted me to the dressing room where she took a couple of quick measurements and then offered to bring me basic styles in my size to get the fit right. Once done she showed me the various color options and gave me the personal space finalize my choices. Tons of customer service… NO pressure to buy. It was a fantastic experience. I felt good about myself and respected as a consumer. AND… there were not half naked 18 year olds plastered to the walls. It was a grown up store but still had plenty of things to make you feel, and look, wonderful.
