Nice upscale place to eat right off of I20 near Aledo. I have been here a couple of times and the food has always been very good. They have a nice selection on their menu and some unique creations. The service is good, but at the price point, could be a little better. Not enough to knock it off of my 4-star rating though. Definitely worth checking out for a «date night» kind of dinner.

This place is overrated the food is cold high priced try it a few times to give the benefit of the doubt not going back, no thanks, I live 5 minutes rather drive farther for some one who really wants my business

We tried this place out last Friday night, promptly came back the following day, planning to come here for dinner again tonight. Jordan, who I believe was the chef for both evenings, was just lovely. Very personable. Walked around and greeted each table and asked how everything was. Obviously cared what people thought. Loved it. Now to the food… My husband LOVES the fried shrimp and the Zan’s bread appetizer. It will absolutely be his«go to» every single time. Me, on the other hand, loved the red pepper bisque. I could get this in a gallon and eat it every day for a week. So good. The crab cakes are lightly fried and incredibly flavorful. The side salad I’ve gotten each time is very simple, but the lettuce was so fresh and crisp and the ranch was good as well. I think I’ll try the crab legs tonight ;) The steaks, baked potatoes, and bacon wrapped shrimp are all pretty standard(and tasty).

I always come for one of their super delicious salads which they ALWAYS have no problem adding something different to for me if requested. Like adding blackened chicken instead of grilled! The best food, best service, and the absolute best bartenders! They have the best brunch I’ve heard as well! Dying to try it out! All their plates have such beautiful presentation too! You definitely won’t be disappointed!

This place was really great for a date night. My husband and I shared the mega grill and the fondue appetizer, he had the red velvet cheesecake and no I had the banana pudding. Now while the food was really good I did have a few issues. The mega grill is $ 45. Now for $ 45 I expect enough for my husband and I to share. It came with two small crabs, not even a whole sausage, a dozen shrimp and vegetables. Now it tasted great, but if we hadn’t ordered the appetizer then we would have still been hungry. The cheesecake was great and the banana pudding could have been. It had homemade whipped cream and the bananas and cookies were perfect. The bad… institutional, cheap pudding. If they can go to the trouble for homemade whipped cream then I would love to see some homemade pudding or at least the better quality stuff. We will definitely give this place another try.

Omg so good! I wasn’t crazy about the stuffed avocado and my daughter wouldn’t eat her pizza so we switched and both had empty plates and full bellies. :) We started with the crawfish fondue and almost ordered another to take home. The Martinis were on point as well as the steak. New favorite!

Potato cakes as appetizer were good. Bacon wrapped shrimp were jumbo. Catfish, oyster, crab cake, shrimp platter was very bland. Needed sauce to add flavor. Water glass hardly get filled. Overpriced. Parking lot is small to get around.

Good = fried shrimp po boy. Probably best I have had. Add fresh jalapeños. Not great = gumbo. The roux was way too thick for gumbo. When I need my po boy fix I know where I am coming from now on.

Amazing food, good atmosphere with a bartender that remembers you drink order every time you come in. A true gem in the middle of country living. Get the crab cakes to start.

I went here for dinner on a Thursday night. Everything was really good. I can’t say that I have a complaint about anything. I have been to many seafood restaurants in the area and I think this one is the best, hands down. We ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer. They were delicious and had big chucks of crab, not just filler. They are really good! For dinner I had the mom’s jambalaya. It was really fresh tasting.(you must like spicy food if you try this.) It was very spicy, but I like spicy. I washed it down with 2 margaritas. I tried the 1800 margarita on the rock and the jose cuevo margarita. There is a dollar difference between the 2 drinks but I personally think they tasted exactly the same. The waitress was really nice and the chef even came around to ask us if our meal was okay. Overall, I had a great experience here and I will definitely go back again. Recommending this to everyone who loves seafood and margarita’s. The people who recommended this place to me said they love the bartenders because they knew their drink orders from their prior visit.

Ordered a jack and coke and got a jack and water. I thought 9 $ for a drink was a little high. I had the shrimp boil because said serves two which would be true if you purchased it as appetizer but for 35 $ I won’t order it again. However the shrimp were big as my hand. My wife and mother in law had the catfish and both had big bloodlines in the fish. they said they didn’t like that part. The service was great though.

Very disappointed. Food was not any better than the frozen food you get from Sysco food! The“lump” crab was not lump at all! Very small portions!

Great little find on I-20 if you want a locally owned business and not a chain at the big exit. Great steaks and ice cold beer! Quaint bar area is where I like to sit right next to the fireplace. Don’t take my table! Great service too! It will now be our«Go To Restaurant» when returning from Dallas back to Brownwood. ALWAYS support your local restaurants!

Fantastic service and the chef specials are always outstanding with a lot of thought and explosive taste, I would always recommend listen to what the chef specials are. The Mediterranean baked trout had capers olives chimichurri sauce and herbs it was outstanding

Good food, nice atmosphere for diner. Temp I. The restaurant can flux, if you get cold bring a jacket, they usually have fans blowing. Stuffed shrimp always good and always save room for the bread pudding!

The crab cocktail with Pico de gallo was very tasty but almost no crab. The Fish Creek specialty Rocky’s Shrimp Pasta was totally unappetizing. The pasta was mushy, the wine sauce had no flavor, and the shrimp had zero seasoning. It was like eating nothing. I added salt but then it just tasted like salty nothing. In addition, the waitress seemed completely unfamiliar with the menu, brought me water with a baby roach in it, and never brought my Ceasar salad. Maybe it was just because it was a Sunday and my birthday.

I was recently in Weatherford for about a week and ate here twice! The food is delicious, and so are the drinks [although a tad weak]. Both times I ordered the blackened tilapia with asparagus and cheese grits. I’ve never liked grits. Ever. Then my mother-in-law came home with a to-go box and I happened to try them. Now I am in love with Fish Creek’s cheese grits! Everyone at our table ordered a dish that included them, or a side. My husband enjoyed his étouffée, and the rest of my family their fried fish platter. I had a hush puppy, and yep. It was good. I’d definitely go back, maybe even multiple times in a week again. :)
