A-Paul’s Lock Service

Well where do I begin… Paul if that was the name of the technician that worked on my car… thank you for reproducing a key to open my mother in laws car… here is a little review for you. First of all the service that you word was supposed to be 180 $ well I guess it turned out to be 285 $ after you where done. Yes you accomplished your task yet you where RUDE. AND UN PROFFESIONAL. My moM In law has lost keys to her car while at a Gas station. Pauls service said they can reproduce the key. Serviceman has arrived and worked to reproduce the key after few hours of working on it, he made the key open doors yet was not able to program the key to start the car. My wife was informed that ignition will need to be repaired/​replaced to be honest I’m not sure what was done. The process took about 2 hours. Technician was truly irritated with the time it took. He said «THIS IS AN OLD CAR AND ITS A PIECE OF SHIT «and mentioned he has been doing this for 15 years and never had that problem. I guess Ford focus 2002 makes super high tech locks and ignitions… either way after replacing or fixing ignition he still had issue programming the key after charging up the battery in my car he has finally got the key to work. When my wife asked him if maybe that was the problem to begin with he rudly responded with attitude «YOU DONT ANYTHING ABOUT IT» Sure enough my wife is not a locksmith but I’m sure there are nicer ways to respond. Either way guy is an Ass hat and due to being frustrated in doing the job in hot weather he takes it out on clients. Either way if you are looking for expensive and rude service he is your guy. I guess two ladies with small child do not know any better and are easy to steal from. We feel cheated…

We did not use Paul since we decided to hold off on our project, but he gave us honest advice and responded fast. We will definitely save his name for when we do need a locksmith.

At 11 am on a Sunday I found myself in an embarrassing situation, where I had new tenants moving in starting at 2 pm (in Naperville), but I couldn’t find my set of keys anywhere in my house, and my vacating tenants had forgotten to leave the inside door unlocked for me.
In a panic, I called Paul, after a quick Google search for emergency locksmiths. I was prepared to pay through the nose for it, and was a bit worried that he’d not be able to get there in time. Paul was able to get 2 locks opened for me before my new tenants arrived, saving me the embarrassment of being locked out of my own rental house.
Fairly priced – I had paid more for a few years ago for 1 lock to be picked in my house on a weekday. Paul’s cost was significantly lower than what I had paid for my last emergency locksmith service.
I will definitely keep his contact info saved for future reference, and will hire him to re-​key all our rentals in the future.

Paul provided me with friendly and professional service. His scheduling system was very easy and he showed up right when he said he would. Thought his prices were competitive if not lower than other quoted services. Did a good and fast job providing me with an entire re-​key of my house. Highly recommend.

I called Paul to change the locks on our new house. He returned my call within a few minutes and was able to come out the next day to do the job. He is up front about his reasonable service fee and prices.
