I’m here twice a week for work, and for the most part I really enjoy my time here. Like the retro machines and laundromat-chic aesthetic, if that’s a thing. On a pleasant stretch in downtown Wilmette, with plenty of things to do while you wait. During peak usage, the aisles crowd up something awful, and there’s not a lot of room to sit. The password to the bathroom is held by a man who asks you where you grew up, but he is definitely a positive in the whole experience. Toilet is broken more often than not.

Not really a fancy place. like the other reviewer had mentioned gets the job done though !! Pros: 1) Clean ambience 2) Vending machines that works and not disgusting 3) Coin dispensers in house, that doesn’t steal money !! 4) 4 load sizes of machines Cons: 1) Common its digital age and still a coin machine??? would be better if credit card operated 2) During peak crowded time, waiting area /chairs are limited 3) may be the washers could have timer

It’s all that you can ask for clean and vending machines for laundry detergent and a pop machine. Best thing is that there are a few places that you can go have a bite while your stuff is getting washed. If you’re bored there are tons of magazines and newspaper you can read.

I’ve been to better that had free wifi. But it’s cheap. 4.25 for the big washers and .25 to dry per 8 min. 1.25 for small washers. No bathrooms or wifi but also no creepy homeless ppl at 10 pm at night.

I live in downtown Evanston and for some reason, the choice of coin operated laundromats in town seems really limited(the gritty Bib ‘n Tucks or the somewhat less odious Good News on Noyes). I’d read that Wilmette’s All Washed Up was the Northwestern student fave in the area, so one evening when I had access to an I-Go car share(rented for another purpose), I tried this place out. The good: no panhandlers or dubious sketchy folks like at the Bib ‘n Tucks, it’s on a well lit downtown street in tony Wilmette, it’s open later than Evanston’s Good News… but it’s still pretty much of a dump. A safer dump, full of students and older folks, but still a dump. It served my purpose, but it’s too far out of the way for us car-free people to be worth the effort to get there. I suppose I could take the Metra, but that only runs once an hour.

This is the place I go to with all my clothes that need to be dry cleaned,. I really trust them and they do a great job. I also love the everyday low prices and I can pick up my clothes the next day when it fits my schedule.
