My wife and I found Winnetka Cleaners 10 years ago, after a well-​known cleaners with stores in Winnetka and other suburbs lost our antique linen napkins. We couldn’t be happier. They’ve never lost or damaged a thing and Sue, who meets with customers, and her husband do a terrific job with alterations (and not just hems, either). I wish we had found them when we first moved to the North Shore. Highly recommended!

Horrible she had lost or ruined multiple items of clothing and refuses to pay for damages. There was even an instance where she made me pay for alterations and I realized later the alterations had never been completed. She repeatedly argues if you accuse her of losing or ruining anything. Do not go here.

Everyone should use Winnetka Cleaners! Sue and John are genuinely nice folks who really care about their customers. Sue tracks all the details to be sure clothes are cleaned correctly. And she is so friendly and enjoys getting to know you and your family.
Don’t hesitate to bring all tour alterations here. John is incredibly talented with tailoring. I lost 30 pounds and he made all my Italian-​made suits and trousers fit better than they did when I first bought them.

LOVE these folks! They were wonderful from the day I walked in with my first arm-​load of hard-​to-​clean laundry and several years later they continue to be awesome with alterations, cleaning and they bend over backward (this is not an invitation to take advantage of these nice people!).
