I don’t usually review fast food options, but I’m so consistently disappointed with my experience at this DD that I figured I’d share. They frequently mess up my coffee order (or more likely, just give me someone else’s drink), and to my even greater ire, put donuts frosting side down with no protective tissue. My frosting is then ruined! It’s a tiny thing, but for a place I only go when I’m already having a rough morning, this just isn’t what I’m looking for.

Small and sometimes crowded but well staffed during busy morning hours. Prompt services and food handlers good about wearing plastic gloves.

I wish the woman behind the counter would get off the phone and get my order correct. A plain glazed is not a Cruller. Chocolate Frosted is not a Boston Crème. Is her neck broken? Why couldn’t she turn around when I pointed to what I asked for? I’m trying to use Jedi Mind tricks on her but it isn’t working…“These are not the donuts I am looking for.” Why is she arguing with me now? I just want what I ordered. Please give me my coffee so I can leave and you can get back to your phone call. Sheesh…

The strip mall is renovating, for the first time in a long time. Otherwise, I’ve come to this DD for the morning coffee and breakfast nook; sausage/​croissant, a donut, a couple of donuts, whatever. It’s convenient to the Edens and whatever Rush Hour mood Skokie Boulevard can offer. Parking during the mornings can be a pain, but what DD isn’t packed between the hours of 6:30 and 8:00?
If you’re a regular, more than likely they’ll remember your order after a few weeks.

My favorite place to get a cup of coffee on the way to work. Its close and easy parking. I have always found them very helpful and they all have a smile on there faces when I come in.
BTW not under construction anymore.

Not great, not terrible. It’s close by and convenient. Haven’t had a bad experience, but you likely won’t be too impressed by the folk behind the counter come crunch time… ^_^;;

when i said a little bit of sugar, i did not mean 8 tablespoons. my coffee this morning was undrinkable.
my chocolate glazed donut was stale. i got it at 7 am… how could it be stale? it was inedible.
i miss my dunkin donuts in mt. prospect on rand road. i would stop almost everyday on the way to work. the employees were super nice and always gave me a free donut (not that i need free donuts).
i guess i’ll just go back to drinking the free coffee at work. bummer.
