Juan, the NEW Store Manager is AMAZING, TRUSTING and HONEST! If you’ve had a bad experience with previous store personnel, you’ve got to go back! I’ve been putting off bringing in my hand held ORECK vacuum cleaner for a while because I didn’t want to incur the expenses of maintenance and possibly purchasing a new one. I explained to Juan that my device doesn’t even turn on. He gave me my options: 1) I could trade it in and pay only $ 100 for a new model or 2) have it diagnosed. I went for option 2! I got a call the NEXT day from Juan(who used to work in back on all of the models) who gave me the good news. My motor was dirty — he cleaned it up, and it was as good as new!!! The labor fee was minimal — saving me hundreds of dollars. He could have opted for the best interests of the store by charging me more or telling me my motor was shot and suggest purchasing a new one. But he did the HONEST thing, keeping the best interests of the customer at heart. As a result, I will go back to purchase more items, like the air cleaner. I would suggest trying this location again if you’ve had a bad experience — it’s all about the people. And Juan expertly represents ORECK by understanding the CUSTOMER. He gave me PERSONAL service and resolution in record time. Juan is number ONE.

I phoned over to ask some questions about servicing an air filter and getting my vacuum tuned up. It will be the last time I interact with them. First, they tell me my air filter is old. It was nearly a thousand bucks and is only a few years old. I keep it very clean but a filter light keeps going off. After that comment(I was dumbfounded into silence) I was completely taken off guard with the offer of a trade in ‘worth a 100 dollars’ for my air filter and my thousand dollar vacuum cleaner(only a few years old). This person was unable to confirm they could, would or what the timing might be to service either item. End relationship. Don’t waste your time.

If I could give lower than one star I would. The service at this location is nonexistent. I’ve tried more than once and over several years. They offer a «Free tune up» — do not be fooled. They had my vacuum for 10 days to give it the free tune up — when I called to tell them I was coming to pick it up, they told me it was ready. When I got to the store, not only was it not ready, they didn’t know where it was. This was the second time this happened to me. When I complained, I got bubkas. I called Oreck headquarters and they were not helpful at all. While the vacuum itself is good, there are other options on the market. I will never do business with this company and with this location again.

i have had oreck vaccums for decades and know how to repair and maintain them. i have used this service place for parts, bags etc. for years, but there is newer management now which is just there to hustle a sale and not help. the guy didn’t even pretend to want to help… would not even give me a tech 800 phone number, which i found on line anyway i will not longer buy anything from this store!
