I left with a meh feeling, then heard it is a chain. It is very modern/trendy which is no problem. I wasnt impressed with my order. The young guy who was working the counter was very personable and a great employee

Cute place. Large, with lots of seating an fireplace to keep you warm an cozy on a chilly winter day. Coffee is great. Only complaint is the place needs to be really cleaned. You can tell that it just gets a quick sweep an that’s about it.

Love the renovation, but still a brew haha at heart. Very good lattes(sometimes can be burnt) very nice sandwiches. Would love to see more variety for breakfast that isn’t all baked goods. Really nice atmosphere and though it seems very crowded always, I can usually find a seat.

Really surprised to see some Negative Nancies popping up in the reviews for this Brew-HaHa because it is one of our favorite gems in the area. This location in particular is the best of the Brew-HaHas I’ve been to(I live right by the Main Street, Newark location). First off, the quality of the coffee is excellent. Their regular coffee, iced coffee, and specialty drinks are all great(my husband’s a coffee geek). Their selection of tea is usually pretty nice, too(I’m a green tea fan). Secondly, Brew-HaHa has stepped up its food game as long as you know what to order. The bagels and the salads? ‘Meh, not so much. But the breakfast and lunch sandwiches are wholesome and delicious. Favorite sandwich is the Meadowood on sourdough(turkey, brie, green apples, fig spread). Location-specific perks include a small but elaborate garden outside with outdoor patio seating and strong wifi.

Been to so many brew hahas in Delaware and each time is more disappointing. The food and drinks aren’t good at all. Gross actually. And the service isnt so great!

Great atmosphere and a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! I’ve been quite a few times on the weekends, and it always seems to have a nice size crowd. Perhaps down the road they might consider having some later hours in the evenings…

We have been here a few times and we get something different each time and it is all perfectly executed and delicious and the staff here is wonderful! Beautiful décor and ample seating inside and out. About the same as Starbucks prices

Brew-haha is the best option for local coffee in New Castle County. As a black coffee drinker, I cannot speak to the entire menu, but the quality of the black coffee beats the convenience of the other Wilmington options. On my most recent visit I tried the crumb cake and the apple cider, both were delicious.

Love that place, especially the fire place. Pastries could be better and ready served in real mug.

I have recently moved to the area and as a coffee addict had to check the place out. The atmosphere is very nice and spacious with a variety of options for seating. They have a large coffee menu with a variety of latte options which is fun. I’ve had the iced(plain latte) the mint dark chocolate latte, and the Thai iced coffee. If you like sweet things I would recommend trying their specialty syrup drinks but I love the taste of espresso so Ill stick to the plain latte. I will be coming back to try more of their drinks and food. The shop also has an attached coffee testing room where they appear to offer new drinks and hold events so i’m also interesting in checking those out.

Thought this location was absolutely beautiful! Both outdoor and indoor décor is cute and«hip» and it is a great location to study or meet a friend. They have plenty of seating(they even have overflow seating in the next room!) and even so it was super busy and full. The coffee was above average and the food also good! Definitely a treat especially considering the location!

The new Trolley Square location is awesome! There is now much more space than the previous location, which is a tough thing in Trolley. They have joined forces with Trolley Tap house to serve their Nitro Cold Brew coffee in both locations. I recommend trying their vegan donuts(Dottie’s Donuts), which change every day. Their outside patio makes me want to hang out there all day!

Well what can I say? My milkshake aka«thai» iced coffee was sub par. When I asked for one of their 12 kinds of bagels, they were out of all of them. The new spot in trolley square looks great(minus the trash in every nook and cranny). The high prices demanded here should come with a little more realism and planning. Ill probably give it another try in the future, but in the meantime, ill be at DD

Great coffee, sandwiches are simple and delicious, and the atmosphere is great. The trolley square location is amazing and the atmosphere makes you want to stay all day with some coffee and not go back to work.

My absolute favorite spot for coffee in Delaware. Specialty coffees are always made to perfection while their house roast is always delicious. Staff is always friendly and the service is as quick as can be. The bakery items are much better than they used to be with a delicious blueberry lemon pound cake and also a great blueberry muffin. Sandwiches are so-so but they are Brew-Haha and not Sandwich-Haha. This is a great way to brighten your morning. My favorite one is the Trolley Square location but I always get great service at the Greenville Location as well.

Love coming here for my morning coffee and breakfast or light lunch. The workers are always very nice, friendly and efficient with my orders. Even if I’m running a little late to work I’m able to stop in for a nice, dark cup of coffee or specialty drink!

i’ve gotten to know this BrewHaHa fairly well over the last seven years as an occasional, then regular, and now back to occasional customer. Initially in 2007 I felt like this place was WAY over-pretentious about everything on the menu, with undistinguishable food items and drinks. At some point in the ensuing years, they upgraded the menu and it showed in the taste and quality. However, the baked goods are not always as fresh as they could be and sometimes may be carried over from one day to the next. This location received a face-lift within the last 1 — 2 years and I feel like that brought it up to more contemporary standards, with edgy gray paint and a clearer definition of the counter area. Seating is limited and not of the sit down and stay awhile type(no easy chairs) although the outside deck chairs are great in the warmer weather. In the current era I feel like BrewHaHa endures for the pleasure of supporting a local business — naturally a very big thing in Delaware — and the community feel of the locations, particularly this one that’s often busy with locals in the mornings and weekends. Works well as a tandem visit with some of the other foodie establishments in the area, like Toscana and the other Trolley Square restaurants.

Excellent pastries and baked goods. the meadow wood sandwich(Brie, fig spread, Granny Smith apples, turkey) is just plain lovely. Their coffee is a darker roast and flavorful.

so i love the vibe of this place, and i love supporting an independent shop instead of a big corporation(although props to starbucks for their stance on social issues and employee benefits), but i do have to say the coffee itself is a bit of a letdown. kind of flat with not much taste. that being said, their treats are excellent and everything i’ve brought my sales team has been outstanding(so they tell me). the staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome when you come in. next time i’ll try an espresso drink and see if i like that better.

Clean, friendly and local place with the je né se quais of a natural homegrown place. Inside it is immaculate. And their selections and sandwiches are fresh and tasty. The only thing I’d add would be a better breakfast selection — that means eggs, gents. Otherwise, a gem of a local place. I would much rather frequent this than your chain coffee house…
