Bomb brunch-Fresh, satisfying, affordable-stopped by off the highway on our way back to DC. Their whole menu looked so good we couldnt decide what to get. I got a sandwich heaped on with smoked salmon, arugala, and cream cheese aoili-amazing. Friends got breakfast tacos/nachos/quesadillas. Huge selection of sweets as well– french toast, milkshakes, pancakes. Very friendly staff and homestyle feel. Wish I lived closer, I would come here every week.

Scrumptious is very unique! I ate here with my grandmother. She got a bacon pancake and loved it. She is a very picky eater. I had the lox bagel(add hot sauce always) and Vietnamese iced coffee. Vietnamese iced coffee is iced coffee with condensed milk. Amazing!

Tried this place BC it had good reviews… We sat outside. Chairs were 100 years old and I thought I was gonna break them. Weeds ALL over outside. Food was ok but very overpriced. $ 5 for 2 pancakes, $ 3 for a small cup of coffee, $ 3 for small orange juice. Server had to be asked 3 times to bring stuff. Deff won’t go back.

Tried recently while visiting Wilmington. Recommend the Roti Scrambler for breakfast.

Enjoying yummy brunch with a friend. This place rocks. We’re eating outdoors in a Euro style cobblestone patio bounded by distressed wood and exposed brick. The patio furniture is distressed iron. They make the best pancakes customizable with toppings of your choice all coated in powdered sugar. My beverage of choice is Vietnamese iced coffee.

The food is very average. The setting somewhat homely. The pancakes particularly were dry, too rich in flour. Not the biggest fan. After all this, our bill came out to be quite pricey… The server was nice.

I went here for a late lunch on a Saturday. It must be more of a breakfast joint. In the afternoon, the menu was all about the ice cream and frozen yogurt. The chairs were limited and not particularly comfortable. While we were there, the staff was busy restocking and cleaning. They must have walked past us 30 times, carrying supplies up from the basement. It was very chaotic.

This is a small but nice place. They have a huge menu which includes coffee, shakes, rolls, sandwiches, frozen yogurt etc. I had ordered a shake which had thick layer of cream and tasted amazing. They do have few tables and the host is nice as well. Will certainly recommend this place for a good shake !!

I’ve been here a few times and got take out each time. I’ve only had the different flavored pancakes. They weren’t too bad. Not very light and fluffy. More on the heavy side. Prices were very reasonable and the staff is always friendly. I love the concept but wish they would expand the breakfast menu a little more. Worth checking out if you’re in the Trolley Square area.

This was our first time here, on recommendation of a few friends. Delicious! It’s a small, intimate place, but very cute. The service was very friendly and the food was both beautiful and tasty! I had the Hass Benny and my husband ordered the breakfast burrito. The Vietnamese iced coffees were perfect. Definitely coming back!

Just had a «Scrumptious» lunch! Would recommend this cute place! The owner was absolutely delightful to talk to and the food was great! We had Shrimp Benny and Rancheros Omelette. Green tea was good and the coffee was freshly brewed. The Shrimp Benny was a Benedict but done a little differently. The shrimp were in a salsa of tomatoes, red onion, green pepper and spices– very tasty. This was over a bed of tortilla chips with a light cheese sauce drizzled over. Garnished with avocado. Delicious! If you are in the area try it! It is about a mile from downtown. Can also top your food off w frozen yogurt!

Synopsis: Great staff, OK food. Dets.: The staff makes this place. Run by a group of teens/youngins, you can feel the positive energy upon entry. Taylor in particular was great and very knowledgeable about the menu. Now, onto the grub. Our party ordered the following: –Masterpiece w/waffle and a side of very thin bacon –Eggwich –BLT –Southwestern(I think that’s the name!) –Vietnamese coffee –Chai latte Pros: Everything came out quickly. Cons: Thin bacon. And the food(and drinks) was meh. Great service, but better food may be found elsewhere.

Small, no frills spot with great breakfast. Limited seating… Good chance you’ll be sitting outside if it’s a popular find. It’s actually some sort of cross between a frozen yogurt shop, café, and brunch spot. I’m only interested in the brunch portion, but I guess there needs to be some way to bring in money at times other than weekend mornings. Very good hash… It’s not the usual corned beef diner fare(not that I have anything against the processed dinner hash), but uses fresh meat.

Was one of my favorite frozen yogurt places, now my favorite breakfasts in town after my second visit for breakfast. I got the Cuban hash — try it, it is like a crazy remake of corned beef hash but tastier and not as heavy — I will be back just to get it again. Breakfast burrito was great too.

Came here one afternoon to get some work done and grab a bite to eat and some coffee. Love the vibe inside, it’s a welcoming café meets froyo heaven! The owner happened to be in and she made me the most delicious wild benedict(with ham added). Presentation was spot on, and the flavor? AMAZING. Nice freshly brewed hot cup of coffee to warm up to with the frigid cold that day.

My and I stopped in based on the many helpful Unilocal reviews. Off the top, the place is very cute and the seating is café style– good for 1 – 2. There was one large table in the back for larger parties and a nice enclosed back yard area with seating as well. Being that it was cold we opted to eat inside. The owner/chef/waitress was very friendly, polite and accommodating. She made you feel as if you were in her home sharing a meal versus eating in a restaurant and the food was good. Fresh and fast. Scrumptious offers a little bit of a yogurt place, coffee shop and brunch/lunch spot all in one. We have already scheduled to come back and try some more yummies.

I have a lot of things to say about this joint. For starters, and I suppose most importantly, the food was delicious. The menu was extremely appealing to me, and it was difficult to decide what to settle on. My husband was beyond happy with his blueberry banana pancakes, and I was shocked to see just the amount of fruit that was stuffed into(not on TOP of) the pancakes. I got the banana nutella waffle sandwich, which was rich and decadent. There was a little too much nutella(who says that?!) but I just scraped some of it off and continued chowing down. The coffee here was remarkable, and the sheer number of options for milkshake, smoothie, and coffee flavors and combinations were basically unlimited. Truly, this restaurant has lots of things that would entice my pallet. Now for the negatives… This place seems to be run by 19-year old girls who all appeared to be hungover. I mean, I’m not hating on them, but seriously… maybe try to brush your hair before coming to work? Or maybe wear something other than sweatshirts and leggings? Also, they didn’t really seem to have a sense that there were people around them. They were talking loudly, singing, and F-bombing. Girls, this isn’t your house. You should probably act like you’re at *work.* Now for the most annoying part of my experience here… the tables/seating situation. There aren’t that many seats here to begin with, and three of the«tables» they have out are wrought iron patio tables/chairs. The problems with this is that they are EXTREMELY unstable. During the time we were there my husband knocked over his water two times, spilled his coffee, and knocked over the ketchup bottle on the next table. Mid-way through our meal another couple came and sat down next to us. We then watched them spill their water twice and also knock over the ketchup bottle twice. We were actually laughing at each other and commiserating about the situation. There simply isn’t enough room on these tiny tables, and what room there is available is essentially useless since any cup you put on the tables is going down whether you like it or not. While the food was delicious, I would have preferred to not have to grab napkin after napkin and clean up spilled messes from the floor. I think this place would be a perfect place to consider if you wanted to order a take-out brunch or if you were interested in some counter seating for your meal.

Cute place for breakfast/brunch or yogurt! They have a great variety of food items to choose from which was a little overwhelming for me. They have the basic breakfast food like eggs and bacon to egg benedicts. I ordered the Hass benedict and regular coffee, and wow that was more than enough for one person. The portion was a little bit too much for me and I felt bad for not finishing it. I kind of wished my egg yolk was more runny but overall, it was still good. The hass benedict had a lot of cheese so for those cheese-lover, this will be perfect for you. The staff was nice and made my experience pleasant. I didn’t have a problem parking in front of the restaurant but I also came on a Monday mid-morning. Not sure if food in Wilmington is higher than other places but it was more on the pricier side. Come check this place out and see for yourself!

Here’s what I know about Delaware: Joe Biden is from here(plus) and it’s the only state without a national park site(minus). But I came up to visit a friend and was nervous looking for a place to eat because a lot of Wilmington feels a bit like a city-sized strip-mall(you heard me). So we came to Scrumptious: and it is NOT a strip-mall feel(well done!) and the food is pretty good. A super eclectic offering– but we had pancakes and a roti wrap and a scramble, and all were good. I’m knocking off a star because the people behind the counter were REALLY struggling to get our order right(veerrrry young staff) and seemed a bit confused in general about customer service. But I’d go here again if I ever find myself in Wilmington.
