I just love this store!!! I can always find useful trinkets for seasonal décor. I have a tiny fetish for decorative napkin so I come here and like always I walk out with more than napkins. This is the only Christmas Tree Shop in northern Delaware. It can be a bit tight because it is always crowded and they have so much stuff crammed into every corner of the store which is actually a decent size size. I invite everyone to stop by take a peek, but please leave me some napkins :).

Very little that you actually need but lots of stuff you find yourself wanting! Today was my first visit and even allowing for an after Christmas clearance crowd, it was clean and well run. I’m now a fan!

I only come here on Black Friday for 20% off my whole purchase. After looking past the cheesy, typical seasonal décor and accessories — this place is ok. Their food section(hidden in the back, right corner) is what has me coming back. You can find all sorts of different food here. My mom and I like the low calorie selections. It’s a hit or miss since inventory isn’t always the same. I really like their travel size assortment(they have more than Target — imagine that!). Customer service is 50⁄50. I saw one female employee(in the food section) on the sales floor who was VERY helpful. She was friendly with a customer and made sure all of her questions were answered. Another employee(in the travel and beauty department) did not want to be there. She did not have a smile on her face. It’s Black Friday — you should know what to expect when you work in retail! You just knew that she hated her job. Overall, you get what you pay for at this store.

Oh how I love Christmas Tree Shops!!! They have a great assortment of stuff, from spices and kitchen stuff to seasonal decorations and curtains. They generally have a pretty unique selection of stuff to choose from, and their prices are great! I always, always, always walk out with more than I went in for!

Always lucky to get little housewares and cleaning products here. The prices are pretty reasonable.

In the Old Days(Before the folks who own HomeGoods and Marshalls or whatever big chains they own — bought Christmas Tree Shops), CTS was only in Massachussets — mostly on Cape Cod and sold Holiday Décor. Those days are looooooooong gone. Now it’s more like a 5 and 10 — random cheap home goods, food items, paper products, children’s toys, lawn furniture and seasonal decorations(Halloween and Christmans come to mind). This location is not one of the best — but I will be kind agive it 3 stars — but it’s more like 2.5. CTS is becoming more and more like a Dollar store — but things cost more than a dollar. I miss the old fashioned, quaint, New England CTS of old. But, those days, alas, are gone.

The name bothers me… really bothers me. It’s not a Christmas Tree Shop at all… deceiving. It’s like the dollar tree snuck away with bed bath and beyond on a non-sexy but romantic vacation and had this baby who is cute, smells good and has good deals but not ready to bottle feed just yet. Décor, furniture, trinkets and food.

Do all the un-friendly people in DE work here? I abso — hate coming here but my mom lives for the deals. came here to get her a gift card and waited in line for 20 min only two cashiers on duty WTF. the deals are pretty soldi and sometimes you can find so outside of the box stuff but the sad faces on the staff and the attitudes at the check out counter are something id like to avoid. I dont think ill be back even to get my mom another gift card NOTE to managers– interview people with people skills In this economy there are so many people who would actually appreciate a job.
