Denny’s

Waiting 20 minutes for a fuckin salad is way too long. Especially when it’s 5 am and there’s no body dining except 2 tables

We came last night and besides me LOVIN’ the Honey Jalapeño Bacon Sriracha burger, the service we received last night from Maira and tonight from Nia was efficient, friendly, and helpful.
My husband and I used to eat here over 25 years ago before we got married and have only been back periodically.
Not only does this location bring back a lot of great memories, but it is now giving us new memories with our son. With my husband’s new church nearby, we will most definitely frequent this location once again.

If you want a grill cheese forget about it, if want a clean place to eat forget it, if you want service that has a clue of what they are doing forget it! Asked if I could get a grill cheese was told it’s only on the seniors menu so I need to be 55, then we asked can we just order one anyways, we were told by the waiter he could put in for two pieces of toast and a slice of cheese. That would be the only way to charge us for it, but said it would be a grill cheese. We said okay. We then hear the waiter tell the cook, make like a grill cheese, the cook asks toasted, my husband yelled not like a grill cheese but a actually grill cheese. Sad to say my sandwich came and it was the saddest weirdest tasting thing. Not sure how you mess up that one. No one seemed to know how to do anything there or clean up anything, just do yourself a favor and don’t go here!

Do not eat here, I know 3 people who got food poisoning. Went in the bathroom and there was blood and stuff all over the toilet. Disgusting.

We visited this location 5÷13÷16 before going to Disneyland. My niece had a French toast breakfast that included hash browns & eggs. Later that day while at Disneyland, my niece had to run to the bathroom feeling sick to her stomach. She became very weak, threw up and could not leave the toilet area. Her Disneyland visit was abruptly cut short, she was taken to the Nurses station to rest (she was out for approx 2.5hrs) before we could even take her home.
My husband also felt sick; not as bad as my niece. But sick where he felt weak and a bit nauseous. As we waited at the Nurse’s station for my niece, he was able to rest which helped him too. We talked amongst ourselves saying it may have been the breakfast at Denny’s? I did not feel sick in any way and then…
My friend just called to tell how sick he got yesterday, 5÷22÷16 — After having breakfast at Denny’s! He told me pretty much exactly what my niece had experienced on ⁵⁄₁₃? He had to pull over and run to the bathroom, sat on the toilet, feeling nauseous and very weak. He could barely make it back to his truck to drive home. He went straight to bed feeling weak and worn out.
Is this a coincidence OR is there something up with Denny’s food? I am wondering if anyone else felt this way after eating at Denny’s recently?
Nevertheless, we will not be visiting this location again any time soon.

This review is due to customer service! I was there today w/​a party of 10. It was real busy and Whitney did her best to accommodate us.
But where they really went above & beyond is when my daughter realized (10 mins after we left) that she left her retainer wrapped in a napkin on the table!
I called spoke to Whitney & told her what happened and drove back. A total of 4 people went through several bags of trash searching for the retainer for over 30mins! Although they couldn’t find it The fact that they searched on a busy Sunday to try to help us, is very much appreciated! Thank you to management and the gentleman who helped us. For that alone, you guys have a loyal customer in me

Havent been in a while came in 1 day we were seated and ignored for 15 minutes before we decided to just leave, 2^nd time came in and waited forever for our food and when it got to the table it was colder than cold. 3^rd and will be my final time saltine crackers were stale chicken was rubbery and service was horrible this place is horrible and do not reccomend eating here…

This dennys sucks! Customer service is horrible & the food isn’t even that good. I love dennys but this one is just so bad. They make you wait FOREVER & they constantly mess up on orders. Not recommended at all

Horrible service I’d put a 0 but it does. Not allow me to host was extremely rude and it took over 15 mins for the waitress to serve us

Friday night, slow pace, waitress made us wait too long for our food. Don Javier called us gueys, that was rude

By far the worse. sitting down for 15 min no one even acknowledge me had to ask someone to take my order and then she gave me the wrong plate… missing requested meal and still had me waiting on food. Never again I’ll just wait to eat somewhere else.

Do not come to this Denny’s past 6pm, the service at night is horrible and they take forever to bring your food. When you finally get your food, it’s cold and nasty. My pancakes had a long black hair in them. When I told the waitress about it she offered me new ones and then took 10+ minutes to bring them. I just got up and left without eating any of my food because I had no appetite and worst of all, they still tired charging me for all of my food. The workers were crazy if they thought I was still going to pay for my food after all that.

Probably the best Denny’s I have been to! I arrived at 5:30 am– only customer in the place– so naturally the service was fast and friendly. Emily could not have been any sweeter– however piece of advice to the male employees in the place– get back to work and let Emily do her work– she’s not interested! The coffee was fresh and my cup never half empty. My hash browns were crispy — the way I like them– hate cold raw hash browns! The bacon was thick and crispy. My English muffin was cooked thoroughly– hate undercooked muffins! And my oatmeal was creamy– hate lumpy oatmeal! Emily even gave me a free glass of milk for my oatmeal when I asked for just a few creamers! The parking lot is huge and easily accessible from the pacific coast highway. Overall a great breakfast for under $ 10. This is a diner that specializes in comfort food served at a reasonable price at anytime of the day. If you go in this place expecting just that– there is a good chance you won’t be disappointed. However, if you are expecting any more than reasonable food at a reasonable price at any time then eat somewhere else– it’s a diner!

One of the benefits of having a Denny’s around is the fact that you can stop by at any hour. At this Denny’s it seems any time after 9pm, is their break time. It takes way too long to be seated. I’ve been here quite a few times and every time its been the same. Empty restaurant with plenty of seats available yet no one to greet you or sit you down. Most of the time some one shows up just as your about to turn around and leave. If you do decide to stick around be prepared to wait some more even after you’re seated. I don’t know if this location is used to train new waitresses who are older or if its where they go when they can’t do there job anymore but the service is horrible. They mess up your order almost every time. When they finally do bring your food its cold. My burger last night had cold buns, a dry burnt cold patty and cold bacon. How they stay open is a mystery to me. Do yourself a favor and avoid this Denny’s at all cost.

Bad bad service. If you have time to wait forever to get seated, then food comes out 10 mins in between entrees. As my food is getting cold waiting for my boyfriends his food finally shows up with cold fries and a burnt burger bun.
We finally get ready to want our check our waitress disappears. Go to front to ask for container. That took 5 mins before acknowledged. Come time to pay it took guess what another 5 mins before another worker who was at the register the whole time with customers trying to get him to split the check up.
All together the experience was horrible.

Horrible service, ive walked out 2 times before, this time I came with a group,(had no choice) took 30 min to take our drinks 1 hour to get our food, 4 times had to ask for water, then when the food came it was super cold. Some orders came out so late half of us were done eating.

I came in with my family about 9:45 pm hoping to get an order to go. Upon arrival the cashier informed me that there was no cook on duty. She could only offer soup and salad. Very disappointing to hear. I thought this location was 24 hours. They should have just closed for the evening. I was forced to take my business elsewhere. Never heard of such a thing… only soup and salad! A waste of time!!!

I always like to review about the server. Our server was Erica, she did an amazing job making us feel comfortable with her enthusiastic, energetic and positive energy! Me and my cousin came to Denny’s at 2AM for some dessert that she recommended. We got the strawberry hush puppies and the extra chocolate lava cake. Very good and affordable… Oh yeah and we got onion rings.

I never expect excellent customer service here. I came here tonight for a late night dinner and I was taken back on how engaged Carolynn (I believe her name was) with us. She never rushed us and was so nice. I’ve never met a waitress that I was willing to write a good review about on Unilocal.Her upbeat soul just made our experience good here at this Denny’s and I hope she makes it far because she deserves it.
