Dollar General Store

This is a small @DollarGeneral store. It is right by the movies in case you want snacks before you go in. Sometimes you can find cheaper snacks in here than at the Food Lion across the street. It is a small location, so everything seems a little on the crowded side with narrow aisles. But it is good if you want to just run in and grab stuff for a picnic, or road trip.

If I could be really honest I would rate this place 3.5 stars, but since Unilocal doesn’t allow for that option I decided to round up. ;)
I like this store. It’s certainly not the best store I have ever been to, but I would definitely return. They sell most everything for very reasonable and cheap prices. I could easily knock off most of my grocery shopping list by coming here. They have everything from frozen foods (chicken, ground beef, etc) to refrigerated foods (milk, butter, etc) to bathroom supplies (toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, etc) to cosmetics (nail polish, make up, shampoo, etc) to much much more. They don’t have everything like a Target or a Walmart would have, but they have a lot and their items tend to run at cheaper prices than your common store.
I will most certainly be returning for future shopping trips.
A few downsides include the location (it’s right off Kerr Ave in a dumpy parking lot next to Planet Fitness… not appealing); it’s not an exceptionally friendly place to shop as the employees don’t really seem to bother saying hello or offering assistance; they don’t have everything like a common grocery store would have; and it’s a smaller store so it gives off a somewhat «cramped» feeling… at least to me.
Overall, not the best but not awful.
