We really enjoy coming to Front Street Brewery every time we’re in Wilmington. Their cheese fries are AMAZING. It’s always packed on the weekends.

I always get the pulled pork nachos, and they are amazing! There’s to much to eat for one so be prepared for left over. I haven’t tried anything else because that is so good!

Other than the utterly disappointing burnt to a crisp cordon bleu I enjoyed Front Street! The beer choices tasted great(and the raspberry wheat was on special for $ 1.99 which was a steal!) and the food that we ordered(all three of us got meatloaf after sending back a black hockey puck that was legitimately inedible) was also very tasty! I especially enjoyed the mashed potatoes! Very fresh and chunky– just how I like them! Service was good, our drinks were alway full and the food came pretty quickly! I also liked that they take your phone number when there’s a wait and call you so you can wander around downtown. If you’re in the area definitely stop by! It’s a solid choice for a meal… Just maybe skip the cordon bleu special…

My favorite restaurant in Wilmington hands down! Atmosphere is amazing, staff is the best in town, and the varied menu has something for everybody. Everything I have tried is fantastic, and the pub fries are a must try! And of course, the beers and drinks are top notch. Really can’t say anything bad about this place!

After a short wait(15 minutes), we got in and had a great meal. Beer was great and pretzel chicken was very tasty. Juicy chicken and seasoned fries were excellent. Service was timely considering how busy it was.

This is our favorite restaurant in Wilmington. We drive from Raleigh just for the beer and food here. They have a large menu with a variety of food types, and everything is delicious and freshly made.

Their is much to like about the«Front Street Brewery» a brewery pub style restaurant. They get tons of points from me because they have a door opener! Yes, that’s right! They have a person whose job is to look out for people wanting to enter the restaurant and open the door just as they reach for the door handle. There is not a restaurant that I visited displayed that kind of hospitality. The person who did that for us had a warm friendly smile which I appreciated. This place is serious about beer! I’m not a huge beer drinker and because they brew a few different styles as oppose to carrying any national brands. I was a little worried that I would get something I wouldn’t like. That being said our server was very knowledgeable about beer and steered me in the right direction. I’m don’t remember what I ordered but it was smooth creamy and not at all«hoppy», which is what I wanted. Speaking of servers, ours was friendly, warm, patient, knowledgeable and conversational. Every bar/pub should be so lucky to have someone like her. I totally forgot her name(otherwise I would have included it in the review) but I certainly didn’t forget how awesome she was at her job. Also, this place has a huge selection of whiskey! From Bourbon to Irish Whiskey, small batch to some of the worlds most recognizable brands(of whiskey) this is the place. I was here with my boss, and despite him giving me the green like to sample a couple, I decided not to partake. That being said if you like whiskey, this is the place in Wilmington, even as a visitor, I can be sure that this place is second to none in terms of their inventory! As far as food, I ordered a «Crawfish» po-boy. They didn’t skimp on the crawfish, my sandwich was so full it was pouring over the bread and on to the plate ! It was awesome! I ate all that extras before biting into that sandwich, which was awesome! Overall a great experience! Great food, great beer! friendly people, not sure anyone could ask for more !!

This was my introduction to micro-craft beer back in the day. They featured a blueberry wheat that sounded TERRIBLE… But it was so good! They also have a wide selection of other beers, and i think a few guests. I slowly stopped drinking crap beer after that. And now it’s pretty much only(more) local beer i’ve fallen love with. The food is as great as the atmosphere. If very difficult to hang out for lunch or dinner, and not have a killer time. It’s generally a fun unique place. This is a nice neighborhood staple that is perfect for the local demographic. This business is an early pioneer, that still feels new, in a now more strutted market of proliferating breweries.

Found this place while wandering around downtown Wilmington while passing through town. The food and service were both great. It was crowded during lunch but we were able to get in and out quickly. Didn’t try any of the beers, but it looked like they had a great selection.

The Front Street Brewery is okay. The location is superb because it is located in downtown Wilmington just off of Market Street. This place is always busy though and isn’t as big as one would think. It’s always crowded. The beer selection isn’t bad, but I was expecting more from the hype. They do have both beer and whiskey flights you can try. The food was pretty good and the staff was friendly. The staff earns the first 2 stars and the beer and food earn the 3rd star.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Wilmington, Front Street Brewery is a great weekend lunch spot. They have a wide variety of beers along with a rotating selection of self-brewed brewskies. Tons of seating on two floors and a large bar with big tvs. Good food. Good service.

This restaurant is in a beautiful, old building. We were seated upstairs. It was a bit noisy, but it was around the holidays, and several large parties were in attendance. My husband ordered the turkey burger. He tried to tell the waitress that he wanted it rare. The waitress giggled, and I said, «honey, a rare turkey burger will kill you!» I got the garden salad, topped by the most delicious grilled portabello mushrooms! Good service and a fun atmosphere!

My BF is a huge beer fan and his nose led us here. We got a booth in the front. Our server was great, very friendly service. BJ did something he rarely does, he tried 4 different beers and really liked all of them. The food here was a big surprise. Everything was delicious. BJ got a pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. He really liked it. I tried the potato salad and loved it. I ordered the Cobb salad and added grilled chicken. The salad was super fresh and the chicken was a full breast brushed with barbecue sauce. So good, I loved it. Can’t wait to come back!

Food is always on point! Service was very good as well! The noise level is pretty loud depending when you go, but not overwhelming. If you do go try to avoid peak times or get there early they fill up pretty quick. The pulled pork nachos, and the pulled pork burrito are my favorite thing on the menu! Good selection of beer!

We stopped in for a quick bite after the stroll on the river walk. It was packed already for lunch. The menu is large and extensive either items. I had chicken nachos. Different flavored going on here. Sweet and then heat. The pulled chicken was sweet since it is slow cooked and seasoned with sweet seasonings. Think BBQ. The heat from the queso was good and I liked. These nachos are huge! I split and still couldn’t come close to finishing. A great bar and lots of regulars. We ate at the bar which was quick and friendly service. I would come again. BYW I did not die I sicnr we are back on the road to DC. Bree’s looked good.

Great food and incredible liquor selection! One of the largest whiskey selections I have seen outside of a major city. The burgers were good, but the beer cheese and bacon fries were awesome. The wait staff was great and friendly. The beer is good, not great though. But for around $ 4 a pint, you can’t complain too much. The drinks were unique combinations and good. Will be returning.

I’ve wanted to check this place out since I was here last time in Wilmington. This time, with my parents joining me and my appetizer-restaurant hopping, I succeeded. Walking downtown looking for a place to eat, we walked by this place and looked at the window menu to see what was cookin’. Immediately the apps caught my attention. So what exactly caught my eye? The Front Street Hot Legs with Scottish Ale«Brew-B-Q» sauce, a mug of bacon, and chicken tenders. I know, the chicken tenders? Yeah, a little boring but still I needed my meat especially since we were going to be drinking. Well, the drinking didn’t come in until after we sat down and looked at their beer menu. Plus, it’s a brewery so how could we not? The place was pretty busy due to it being 4th of July. Luckily, we came pretty early so it wasn’t completely crazy busy. We were told a 15 – 20 minute wait and was told that they would text us when we got a table. So we walked up the block, checked out a store, and by that time my phone was going off. After we were seated, I ordered their Raspberry Riptide and two Port City IPAs. Both came out pretty amazing, no complaints there. When I came back from the bathroom, I told myself that I was dumb when I saw other tables have flights. I went back, sat down at my table, and ordered two flights for myself and my parents. Finally when our food arrived, one thing that is noted is that the Scottish Ale Brew-B-Q sauce was pretty awesome on the drum sticks. The mug of bacon also was definitely plenty and followed the description of a «generous» portion. All in all, it was good! I think I’ll definitely be back to try their other beers and for other food options if I’m ever in town and walking around downtown. Recommended to come if you’re a brewery lover and want to check out the beer scene in Wilmington.
