By far the best phở in Wilmington. Their house salad is amazing and overall, they serve great Vietnamese food. The owner and his wife are the only people who cook, so it may be a bit of a wait, but it is worth it!

Attended with a large group to the restaurant. I did expect a wait for our food based on Unilocal comments. Great time to relax and chat. On a time table not a place for you. Plan on a few hours of leasurely dining. If you are looking for fast food go elsewhere. Ordered Soft rice noodle stir with shrimp, scallops, chicken and beef. Husband had beef with snow peas. FRESH Vegetables and nice presentation. Cooked to perfection.

Came here randomly after too long of a wait somewhere else. Chicken curry was very good. Enough to take home leftovers. Pork spring rolls were just ok. Wasn’t very busy and service was fast and so was the food.

Saigon Bistro is a breath of fresh air. While they have a mix of asian food on the menu, the Vietnamese food is thankfully not watered down like other fusion restaurants. The restaurant itself is quirky and stylish. The Phở and spring rolls were tasty and thank heaven they serve vietnamese iced coffee fresh brewed per cup. It’s hard but keep room for dessert, the doughnuts are very delicious. Prices are a little high for standard vietnamese food but it buys you the downtown location and above average service.

This was the only dim sum place in the area that was open on Sunday. Super excited to try it. Super disappointed. Everything was really chewy. Weird and comparing it to other dim sum places didn’t seem very good. Everything took forever to come out and some of our dishes were cold even tho we were the only people there. This place is just overall weird. It is cheap tho. I think the only thing I’d get again would be the shu mai and spare ribs.

Most impressed with the quality of food! I had the fresh Thai spring rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce followed by Lamp chop curry with sticky rice… delicious

Fantastic place full of amazing choices and the most delicious filet mignon I have had in ages!!! The staff was wonderful… reservations accepted and the atmosphere charming! This place is a must and located in the heart of downtown Wilmington where everything is happening! If you haven’t been there you are certainly missing out on a great meal!!!

This is only dim sum place in Wilmington and it is only served on Saturday and Sunday for lunch! The chef here makes all the dim sum dishes from scratch. The service here is very, very slow. We had to wait a long time before the waiter came by the table to take our order. After that, it took another half hour for our first dish to come out although there were only two or three more tables besides ours. We got one of each savory dim sum dishes and a fish hot pot soup. The soup was sweet and sour. The fish in the soup was really good. It had a natural seafood sweetness and it was not overcooked. Turnip cake — It was flavorful since it had dried shrimps in it. It could have been pan-fried longer for crispier edges. Chicken feet — I really like the texture but the taste was lacking. Pork and crab soup dumpling — the filling was tasty, but there was no soup. I would skip if you have authentic soups before. Shrimp rice crêpe — this was my favorite of all! The crêpe was cooked well and not too chewy. The sweet sauce accented the dish well. Short ribs — the meat was tender and fatty, which was delicious Leek dumpling — it had a crispy crust but remained doughy on the inside. The rest of the dishes were just ok and not very memorable. There were also a few dishes that tasted very similar to each other, such as the stuffed tofu crêpe, Asian crêpe, and Buddha delight.

Looking for delicious Phở in Wilmington? Come here! We happened upon Saigon Bistro one busy Friday night. Tucked away a few doors down from Front Street Brewery, Saigon Bistro is a hidden gem. The restaurant is a lot bigger than it looks from the window front and is actually great for groups, we had about 8 people. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. My husband and I love Vietnamese food, so we ordered cautiously. He got the phở and I got the Chicken Sauteed in Lemon Grass. Both were delicious. Bottom Line: If you are looking for good Vietnamese, come here. It’s fairly reasonably priced in the ~$ 13 – 20 range. I recommend Saigon Bistro for a date night or a group outing.
