Katy that works here is just awesome!!! She’s very polite helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you Katy. I’ve been in the store before some of the ladies were really rude and nobody would help me and I did not want to return but I had to get a certain thing and I’m so grateful that I got her to wait on me

Went into the store recently and found the management extremely rude. Completely ignored me when I tried asking a question about finding an item. The rest of the staff doesn’t seem properly trained, which I doubt is the fault of the employees. Also it was hot as hell. I don’t think the air conditioning is working in the major part of the store, and with the current weather, it makes it a VERY unpleasant experience. I feel very sorry for the employees who have to stand in that heat all day. However, the store will not have my business again. I’ll just have to get my fabrics elsewhere.

When Unilocaling, I try to keep positive and upbeat. It is hard to do so when the employees of this store have been reduced to resemble the cast of a reality series of women’s prison wards and their wardens. What happened to the aunty and mom type ladies who actually cared about what they were doing, and were actually happy you came in the store in the first place. Since their recent remodel, it seems as though the swept thru the staff as well. only replacing them with fewer and less capable ones. I’m just saying’. The store recently refurbished their offerings and seemed to forget staff training in the process. The store resembles a ghost town, which is strange as it is one of the few choices for fabric in the neighborhood. But spend some time shopping there and you won’t have to wonder why for very long. With cheap chinese made seasonal goods taking up the first three aisles upon entry… you don’t even have to «make» anything to have a seasonally themed gaudy house. Just buy it. Hmmm… They stock stuff that would make Wal-Mart blush. Now move on to find what ever you came there for… if it is fabric, it will be cheap feeling and trailer park/ghetto, without any of the fabulousness. You know what I mean. Ghetto-fabulous and Trailer Chic rocks a healthy dose of attitude: I’m loud, cheap and PROUD. Here at this Jo-Annes, we have the first two. Camouflage yes, silk probably not. But don’t worry there are lots of. Cheesy Sponge Bob fleece that already looks used and worn out(not supposed to be the effect…) bleaugh. The only nice thing about the store now that they have«remodeled», is the notions. You can get a better selection of odds and ends for all sorts of projects from buckles to zipper pulls. The crafts and arts section slowly shrinks into nothingness in this store, unlike some others. Combine POORCUSTOMERSERVICE, with cheap materials, less staff for a winning combination for the competitors and local non chains to move in and sweep the crown.
