our server Ryan was on top of things, never an empty glass. Porter House steak for 2 was cooked perfect and mashed potatoes were amazing. left feeling full and happy. We will be back

I love love love a good steak and Longhorn did not disappoint. After a date night with two other couples to Enchanted Airlie we decided to grab dinner here. I have actually never been to Longhorn until the other night because I try not to eat at chain restaurants however that is going to change because I can’t stop dreaming about that damn prime rib.

We arrived a little after nine and although the business was not very busy it still took almost ten minutes for us to be seated and another five for our frazzled waiter to come by. We all ordered drinks and he started to check id’s when I realized I was missing my wallet. The waiter explained that they had been slow earlier so they cut a lot of people and were now understaffed for the late rush. I went outside to check my car but did not find my wallet. Thankfully he served me anyway because I really needed a drink after realizing I lost my wallet. We all ordered different cuts of steak for dinner and I was advised to order medium instead of my normal medium rare because of the kitchen. Best decision ever! Prime rib is my new favorite cut. It was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection with very little fat. I literally cleaned my plate.
Yes, the service was a little wonky but overall he did a great job given the circumstances and wasn’t as ass about my lack of id. I can honestly say that this is by far one of the best steaks I have had in Wilmington and the price was wonderful.

I took my friend out for her birthday dinner and she turned the big 21 so I wanted it to be some where nice. They have specials here and there but it wasn’t anything we were interested in. We first got a few drinks, I got the piña colada and it was so good. First time ever trying one and it seriously the best drink. We got a app and it was a crab and artichoke dip with pita bread chips I personally liked it but my friend didn’t so she was able to just get regular chips which was nice. The dip was different it had a lot of crab which is a good thing but the flavors I don’t know. It’s the type of flavor when your like hmm that’s weird but you keep going for more. Me being being a bread person I loved the pita bread chips so that was the best part. They were known for their steaks so that’s what I wanted to try. I got the ribeye cooked medium rare with baked potato. When the plate arrived I was so amazed by its beauty. The grilled marked on it made my mouth start to water. Cut into the steak and it was cooked perfectly. I took a bite and it was so good. It had so much flavor and once I started eating more and more of it, it become too much flavor. The seasoning on the steak was a little too much for me and started to taste really salty. Other then that everything was great.

Service for lunch in the near empty bar was horrible. For a salad and half sandwich we waited 40 minutes. Tortilla soup was sooo spicy. It burned your lips
The avocado chicken sandwich was tasteless. The waitress was indifferent to isamd brought our second drinlk long after we sat there.50 min. We won’t go back

The food was Very delicious food! Didn’t have to wait long wait on food. Nice atmosphere. Staff nice.

Hey there I’m back, how about a review before I hit the rack! Unilocal fam it’s time to get down! I have never had steak so juicy and tender, it’s like they put it in a blender! Haha this place is fantastic, amazing, and great all tied into one creating a tri-​fecta of flavor in my mouth. Mashed potatoes made to buttery delight and that’s the real deal people! I always get the porterhouse steak but sometime I mix it up between a T-​Bone and Sirloin. Ribeye if I’m in the mood to work it off later. The staff is nice and friendly, and the atmosphere is calm. Reminds me of exactly what they’re going for… Being back home in Texas. I love this place and if you go too then you’ll see why just as well! Another thing I really like is that I rarely see a dirty table! Now how about that Unilocalers and elites?
Now I’m a little rusty, but I think I got one in me BOO-​YAH!!! It’s good to be back. ;)

Hands-​down THE BEST steak I’ve had in quite a long time, possibly my whole life!
Unlike a lot of people, I like my steaks extremely rare; I order them as, «blue-​rare.» Our waitress, who was really attentive to our needs had never heard of my request, but she wrote it down and brought it to the kitchen anyway. That, right there, was proof that customer service is amazing.
She came back, telling me that the chef would definitely be able to cook the steak to my liking. The waitress even joked that they could even bring it out raw if I wanted! My mother and I had a good laugh at that.
Once I got my steak (I had ordered the New York Strip), it was cooked exactly to the rareness I like, and the sear was perfectly even. What really blew me away was the seasoning! I have no idea what the chef used, but he/​she masterfully enhanced the flavor with many spices in a compound butter. The juiciness of the steak was totally balanced with the salty and mildly spicy (but not too spicy!) elements within. My side of the Steakhouse Mac & Cheese made the meal even more exceptional. Plus it has bacon in it; who doesn’t love bacon, especially in mac & cheese?
I’m on vacation now, so my chances of coming back are a bit low. However, I will return to this steakhouse every time I’m in Wilmington until the year I die!

I always order the outlaw rib eye here. It’s huge and is served bone in and supposedly cooked over a live flame. It’s delicious. A bit pricey but worth it if you’re in the mood for a good steak. Service is pretty good and the atmosphere is also pretty good.

When my friend and I arrived, we walked past an employee that was smoking in the handicap parking spots. We walked in and the hostess wasn’t very pleasant and just sat us down and walked away. As we were walking to our seats, we saw that the bar had a bunch of empty plates that were not cleaned up. The bartender was talking to an employee sitting at the bar. We waited ten minutes for our waiter to arrive and when they didn’t, we got up and walked out.

Management very responsive to any satisfaction issues

Me and my mom went for dinner she got a gift card for Christmas. Which we were skeptical cause her and my dad had really bad service one time and never went back. In my opinion it was point on I got some kind of grilled crusted chicken with 2 sides and it was amazing. My mom has a lot of food allergies and asked for a plan chicken sandwich with nothing on it and a bun and honey mustard on the side and whatever they cook it with made the chicken spicy, she tried mine and it wasn’t spicey. All in all it was very good. It is kinda pricey but they have good quality meat. I’ll deff be going back in the future. :))

Had a family Christmas lunch on a gift card. Food was good. The restaurant was only a third full but the service was a little slow. Could be cause we came on Christmas Eve day. Has the steakhouse burger and onion soup. Very good meal and I’m utterly stuffed! Our server took real good care of us!

We shared the porterhouse for two @$ 40 which was perfectly prepared and of reasonable quality
The 2 double sides that came with the entrée were barely adequate for one
The salad was passable
This is a fine choice for a chain restaurant steak house

Absolutely worst service I’ve ever had ate at 6pm on the 23^rd. Young blonde was rolling her eyes as me an my girlfriend asked a question. She told us she didn’t know when we asked questions. We are servers n another restaurant in Wilmington an we would never n our life dream of acting as she did. Who’s tells a customer idk? She def wasn’t trained very well. I really hope she was new an doesn’t continue to act like that. An I wasn’t satisfied w the good either. I will never be back.

The new menu is loaded with awesome choices and we had a tough time narrowing down what to order. I went for the grilled chicken and avocado flatbread sandwich and a cup of asiago broccoli soup. The soup was nothing special and sadly the sandwich fell flat also. They weren’t that busy but it took 30 minutes for our order to arrive. The food and service here is hit or miss

I went with my son because he never gets to go out. I saw the porterhouse was 30 ounces, came with 2 sides and salads too. They make a special steak sauce tableside. Its like butter, garlic and rosemary that really sizzles on a super heated disc, then they toss in the A1, basically and it bubbles and gets all perfect. Everyone in the place was enjoying the aroma and the sizzle. The steak was perfect, plenty enough for two big eaters. The steakhouse Mac and cheese was great, but really rich, we couldn’t finish it. Was too full for dessert. We drank water with lemon so the bill was like 45 bucks. It was a great time.

The wild west shrimp never fail to disappoint. This particular Longhorn always has great service and good food.

Steaks are inconsistent in their cuts and seasoning. Service on this particular vist was below average in attentiveness and attitude. I would go to Texas Road House instead and defiantly go to Outback for better service.

One word: Porterhouse Steak (ok I can’t count, that is 2 right?)
Great Great! The mac and cheese was too salty and altho the steak was cooked perfectly, it was a wee bit too salty. But I’m sensitive to salt, so to someone else it was probably perfect.
The waiter didn’t balk or blink when I ordered the dessert platter first. Everything was beautiful and delectible.
