Absolutely delicious. Just got back from our dinner at Rasa Sayang. Décor is minimal and basic. The seats in our booth were a bit torn up. However, the service and food were fantastic. We were seated right away at 8pm, and we quickly received our drinks and appetizers. We had the Roti Canai. The Roti was so fresh and delicious. My husband wasn’t sure about it at first, but he kept eating it as it ‘grew’ on him. We also had the spring rolls. Very fresh and tasty. We ordered the Snapper in red curry sauce with green beans, eggplant and okra. It was fantastic.(Honestly, I wanted more Roti to soak up the red curry sauce… delicious) We also ordered Thai Basil Noodles — extra spicy. We took half of that home as we were unable to finish everything.(I have already been warned not to get up in the middle of night and finish it up as a midnight snack… lol) We truly enjoyed our visit and will be back!

This place is my go-to when I want tasty comfort food and don’t want to make an effort going out, or when i want delicious take out. I LOVE the Roti Telor appetizer; so delicious I have(on more occasions than I care to admit) licked the bowl to get the last of the spicy curry sauce. After ordering most of the menu(and finding it dependably delicious), I finally figured out that the Chicken Curry is pretty close to being an entrée version of my favorite app. Portions are hefty so you really don’t need apps but the Roti Telor is worth it.

I’ll try to keep this short. Try the following dishes: Pineapple rice, Roti, Thai Basil Chicken, Calamari. I wish I lived closer so I can go there more often. Tasty food. They do get busy at lunch time, so give yourself extra time.

ok so I ordered the green curry sea bass. I can’t write enough or say enough about how good this dish was. my good friend I haven’t seen in awhile invited me here one day for an impromptu lunch. I had no clue what to expect. this place exceeded my expectations. I honestly don’t care about all the other details like noise, wifi, appearance, etc … just make sure the food is quality and on point. great customer service is also a must. JC our server was very kind and attentive. not implying that those 2 things were the only great things. everything else was up to par too … I’m just saying … the cuisine is unmatched!

Authentic, fresh, fast and over the top delicious every single time. We found this restaurant when they first opened years ago and have patronized it ever since. Having eaten here at least 80 or more times we have been disappointed only 2 times and both times because the spareribs were too dry and overcooked. We still order them, but won’t do takeout so that we can be sure that they are made fresh. The chefs have superior cooking and seasoning skills, and the food comes out sizzling hot in just minutes, so be ready. Their roti canal is superb, their lettuce wraps need a touch more chili and soy, but the serving size is generous. Thai basil chicken and basil noodles are a weekly standard for us. Mango chicken salad is fresh and spicy and chicken is cooked perfectly. The absolute best menu item is the Sizzling Bean curd, homemade silken tofu, flash cooked with veggies and chicken, have to try this! Mee Siam noodles are better than the Singapore noodles, more heat and great seasonings. Try sticky rice with Mango at the end, sweet, tart and a less guilty treat. Seriously. We are foodies and this is the most consistent dining experience in Delaware. We hope that they never close their doors and that they continue to provide seriously delicious food for years to come, or until we move back West.

Came here on my wife’s birthday all by fluke and were surprised with the amazing food here. My personal recommendation is the Thai green curry and roti telur!!!

This is a Malayan/Thai restaurant. Typical items like satay(beef or chicken on skewers) rice noodles like Pad Thai and similar, curries. I found the food was average, not bad, but not great and it will cost a tad more than your typical Chinese-American takeout. I had mee goreng(stir fried noodles.) These were egg noodles, beef and some(very overcooked) shrimp with egg, bean sprouts and fried tofu in a kecap manis(sweet soy sauce) I ordered medium spicy which turned out to be not spicy in the slightest. But you can order hot pepper sauce on the side. Others had beef in wide rice noodles, which was the best dish, fried rice, and some lettuce wraps and satay. Everything tasted good but I didn’t find it out of the ordinary. I’d rate it «good – but not great.» Located in the Independence shopping mall(looks like a replica of Philly’s Independence Mall.)

Not the best food I’ve ever had. The shrimp with bean curd soup was awful. So watery and tasteless. The broth was pure water. The roti canai was decent. We shared that among several people. The Thai Basil Noodle was just OK. I was worried that hot would be too hot, so I said medium, and it arrived with no spice. I had to add some of the red spice flavoring to give it a better taste, and then I liked it. My wife had the pad thai and enjoyed it. When I tried hers, I found it not as tasty as most pad thai.

Roti Canai and Telur are the best items to have here and i would come back again and again for these items. I even tried the Lobster Fried Rice and it was pretty decent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all those fans of Malaysian Cuisine.

Located in this cute shopping strip with decorative lights at night, I came in during peak hours on a Sunday night with plenty of seats available. My waiter was attentive and really nice(plus bringing out food quickly made it all better). This restaurant serves Malaysian food which I am not too familiar with. They do have some options for Thai dishes so I was confused if it was more Malaysian or Thai. Anyways, I ordered the grass jelly soy bean drink and rasa sayang curry chicken dish. The soy bean milk was fun to drink! It wasn’t too overly sweet but I also didn’t mix the bottom very well. It was a light drink and complemented the meal. The curry chicken was also good and a very big portion in my opinion. I couldn’t finish it and took half of it home. The dish is on the«saucy» side so those who don’t like sauce-like dish, I don’t recommend this. Otherwise, it was fulfilling. Come check out this place!

Only had two menu items while here the other day. The hot and sour soup which was given to us complimentary, and the one item I couldn’t wait to try, the Roti Canai. Ever since I tried Roti bread in LA many years ago, I have been searching high and low for the deliciousness I experienced on the west coast. The main difference I’ve discovered from the west coast Roti to the stuff I’ve found locally, is the varying texture and thickness. In L.A. It was thick and almost meaty in texture, where in my area, it’s served thin and flaky. I am a fan of the thick Roti. But, I’m never gonna turn down ANY Roti that is presented to me. I mean, I’m not crazy :)~ This restaurant serves its Roti thin and flaky with a middle spicy potato sauce for dipping. It was very yummy. My wife got a wonton noodle soup as well as her own Roti(I don’t share). That all we got that day because we had had something to eat a few hours earlier so we weren’t terribly hungry. The service was really good. The server separated the noodles/wontons from the broth when we asked for a to-go container because the noodles get limp and liquid logged when they stay in the broth. That’s a great thing to do and not many placed care enough to take that extra step. The restaurant was clean, the food was good and service was great. Win-win. We’ll be back.

One of my favorite places in north Wilmington. Delicious Malaysian food. My favorite noodle dish is the mee Siam. Their lunchtime hot and sour soup needs to be on the menu because it’s the best I’ve had. Today I had the Wonton mee and definitely a new favorite. If you’ve ever ate at Penang in Philadelphia, you will appreciate the food here, it’s comparable if not better. The service is quick and if you’re a regular the servers don’t forget a face.

Pretty decent place for Wilmington. Located on concord pike, right off the 202 exit. We ordered the Indian pancake for appetizer– decent amount of bread and I enjoyed the dipping sauce(spicy kicker but not too spicy). The thai iced tea was on point too. I got the chicken green curry for my main dish– it was a decent amount of food for $ 16. I think if I come back I will try the pad thai. Service is friendly and the place is clean! Average prices for Wilmington(~$ 15 a dish). This place serves more Thai food than Malaysian food fyi.

Excellent, now I don’t need to drive to China town for Malaysian food. Just as good as Banana leaf and Penang. Great Roti. Satay tofu was perfect. Good curry and noodle dishes.

Nice little place with very friendly staff. If you’re a calamari lover try theirs we really enjoyed it crispy and very flavorful. Food not overly spicy which was a treat for ourThai dish. They will gladly change a sauce for you if you want to mix and match. Salmon in a black bean sauce was great just a little heavy on the sauce. Curry chicken was a hit. Nice portions had plenty to pack for the doggie. Sorry no room for dessert… only concern was it appeared a little pricey but… I’ll be back!!!

A decent place to get Asian food if you’re in the area. I thought the pineapple fried rice was the best thing we got! Really good! One noodle dish(I think it was the drunken noodles) was OK but the other noodle dish we got(chow fun I think?) was overly saucy and salty, and the noodles were soggy. The appetizer pancakes with the side of curry was pretty good. The mango dessert was not good, it was old, icy ice cream with some other things on the dish.

Superb food, beautifully presented. The best restaurants produce moments where you close your eyes and just savor. This meal produced several of them– and vegetarian to boot Mango Tofu Sauteed homemade tofu with shredded mango in sweet and sour sauce WOW Satay Tofu Crispy fried tofu pockets stuffed with sprouts and peanut sauce OMG really different Not vegetarian but delicious: Malasian Mee Goreng. stir fried noodles in mild dried squid sauce with tofu potatoes, shrimp, egg, ground peanut and bean sprouts.
