I’m new to the area so I figured I’d drop in and try new places, see what’s decent. I was actually looking for some fresh rolls, and this place happened to sell only sliced bread. But, they had a deli counter with a fairly nice selection of choices so I opted for a spicy turkey sandwich. Ran me seven bucks with a can of seltzer and bag of pretzels included, a little better than NYC prices but not great. The sandwich turned out to be really fresh, really good. The store itself offers sit-down spots, maybe six tables and 24 chairs, and a small 7−11-sized selection of groceries. More towards household goods than fast foods, but essentially a limited selection. Workable, but like I said, no fresh bread except for sandwiches. It was a surprisingly good find, but I hafta wonder if these folks are gonna make it. It was pretty dead when I went in there. I hope it catches on, it’s a clean place that makes a good lunch.
