I found multiple strands of hair in my take out. Nuff said. But in addition, everything was cold, my chaomein didn’t have noodles & everything was so greasy, even for Chinese food.

Horrible, we did takeout, potstickers were doughy, no clue what they were filled with, crab rangoons were stale, egg roll was Not good either, hard to fail that!

I would like to thank you for ruining our meal, lying to my husband and saying our food was on the way and 2 hours after ordering we still have no Chinese food. Absolutely ridiculous. So sad this is what business has come to nowadays. Save your lies for another family. I would prefer to feed my 1 year old from a business that appreciates customers and customer service is valued. OH! Our food was finally delivered at 1015 by a very confused delivery guy that said he had«just gotten the order» and we had ordered at 815 and was told the order would be there in 30 – 45 minutes. And… delivered without part of the order. NEVEREVERAGAIN. By the way… I’m pretty sure it’s not«the new girl’s fault.» And I’m very thankful for the 5.5 pieces of meat in my beef and broccoli…

Don’t waste your time or money. The food was greasy and nothing outstanding. Very disappointing.

The pepper steak is delicious! The beef is tender and flavorful. The peppers and onions are fresh and crunchy. The egg rolls are plump and crispy. Very yummy. I was not impressed with the fried shrimp. Too much crunchy breading. I ordered for delivery to a local hotel, and while delivery took an hour, the driver was delightful and my meal was scrumptious.

I do hope after 1 hour and 20 minutes and few calls that none of them spit on my food! Lou… the manager simply hung up on us after we called to ask where is our food. The food was not even picked up at this time. We asked for a discount a coconut macaroon… something to show apology… all we got is manager hanging up. Our voice was calm and nice. Very unprofessional to say the least. Never order again from them and if you do I hope you will not wait 2 hours for your food.

We get chinese delivery from them about 3 times a month — they’re the best chinese delivery we’ve found to our taste in Wilmington. I love the Singapore rice noodles(Very hot and spicy) and my husband loves the pork lo mein. Their mu shoo is really good — the owner and the owner’s son are really nice people(according to my husband) Some people have mentioned it takes awhile for delivery — we live in Ogden and often get our food within a half hour. I’m not sure if they have a dedicated delivery driver, as sometimes the owner has delivered. I’ve never ordered sushi from them, honestly it never occurred to me. DONOT get their hibachi, it is not good, you will be disappointed. :-(Their fried rice is also not to my taste(I’m from NY and prefer the kind they make at Fire Bowl) — but everything else we’ve ordered has been delicious.

Definitely don’t do delivery. My wife and i placed an order at 5:58pm and i was told 30 – 45 mins. I live less than one mile away from the Paper Crane so i thought that was a stretch. 1 hour later i called and they assured me the driver was on the way. 1 hr and 30 minutes later they assured me again. Finally i called and cancelled at 1 hour and 45 minutes with no apology or offer to cover the food. We have eaten there before and it is decent, but because of this service– i will never eat from there again.

You have ordered Crab Rangoon. Imagine someone mixing raw onions, a white substance from Home Depot, and dirt, but not good dirt, rather the dirty dirt, and then frying it inside costco paper towels in septic grease, BUT, and this is important, BUT serving it with a side of red colored motor oil. I made my wife throw it all out. Not even fit for the dog. Dead serious.

I have suffered repeatedly ordering bad Asian delivery food for years. I honestly have to say, for me The Paper Crane is the best Asian delivery in Wilmington. I am so glad I stay within their delivery range. I ordered the General Tso’s Tofu, Tofu Fried Rice and Coconut Chicken. First it didn’t have the funky delivery smell. The fried rice didn’t have the oil that’s never changed taste and wasn’t oily. Most and above all I didn’t get sick! Now that’s a plus for me!

Heaping dinner portion, lots of tofu. Vegetables very fresh and cooked perfectly, still crisp and tasty!

Food is good prices are kinda high for portion, ordered pepper steak with two dollar extra beef and it seems like they didn’t give me two dollars extra of beef I call and the person said the chef added it but obviously it looks like he didn’t.

Ordered from here for a small party we had. It was the worst chinese food we ever had. Greasy egg rolls, dried out rice, luke warm, no flavor and tiny portion of beef was sprinkled about the overcooked vegetables. It made no sense that a new restaurant could be so terrible. We ordered from a flyer we recieved in the mail. I think dining in, maybe better than the delivery kitchen after reading the other reviews.

Nothing to write home about, but more enjoyable than the rest of the Chinese delivery in town. They offer tons of options, friendly service and good prices. I recommend them for sure!

The Coconut Chicken was very good although the egg drop soup was mediocre as was the fried rice. The ambiance was good and quiet. The décor was nicely done and the service was very good.

Dropped in for lunch today, clean, quite and lunch was pretty good. Not the run of the mill Buffett. Order from menus, will go back again. Jim S.

I am not normally a big fan of Chinese food, but today I was craving it, so I stopped by here. I was not disappointed! The place was almost empty, but I think it’s the awkward location. The restaurant was clean, and the hostess was friendly. I ordered the coconut chicken with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. it was AMAZING! Decently priced, plenty of food, they were not stingy with the chicken. and their fortune cookies actually tasted good rather than stale/cardboard. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody wanting some some yummy Chinese food!

There’s good Chinese food and there’s bad. Fortunately, the Paper Crane fits the first category. I was craving some chinese food and decided to give the Paper Crane a try based on its proximity to where I work and the other Unilocal reviews. I’m glad i did. I ordered the cashew chicken with brown rice. Aside from being little heavy on the celery the meal was delicious. The brown rice was light and fluffy and perfectly cooked. The cashew chicken had a really nice flavor without being too heavy or sweet. My lunch also came with an egg roll and fried noodles– both of which i didn’t order, but was a nice added value. I also ordered the wonton soup. It too was really good and quite possibly the best I’ve had in town. Not too greasy like some soups can be, but a light, broth based soup with some sizable wontons. All ingredients tasted fresh and the staff were very friendly. Lunch prices were very reasonable, especially considering I’ll be having leftovers.

I was craving Chinese food last week and decided I would stop by Paper Crane after getting some groceries. It is pretty easy to find, and I did really like the interior. Although it’s small, it is definitely a place you could sit down and have your meal. Not your stereotypical Chinese restaurant, for sure. The staff seemed pretty happy to see another Chinese person in their midst, and were very helpful with regards to helping me find my way back to the university(since I am a n00b with very poor sense of direction). They were also very prompt with waiting the table that I spotted while I was waiting for my food. My food didn’t take very long to come out at all. I ordered a California roll and a kung pao chicken combination platter, which came with an egg roll and pork fried rice. The sushi was fine, but I had some issue with the kung pao chicken. Maybe I’m just spoiled, but it seemed to lack flavor. It wasn’t spicy at all, and I have a bland palate. I usually can’t eat spicy foods, but I was craving the kick! Imagine my surprise then when no kick came. It’s not that it didn’t taste good, but I was expecting it to be more flavorful. Because of that, I will hold out on more stars, but I will definitely be back. Takeout, eat-in, delivery, Paper Crane will definitely be getting more money out of me.

Very cool place, my new go to for Chinese. Maybe one dish too sweet, maybe one too salty, but all in all, the best Chinese I have found in Wilmington and priced very well too. The fried rice is actually BROWN, and the egg roll wasn’t frozen. Get their hot mustard, its great. Give it a shot.
