I love this place! For years I’ve been buying cigars here(as gifts) and about 4 months ago i personally switched to vaping. I was in Tabacco fields and saw they carry a good bit of e-liquids I was pretty impressed. They also carry epens very responsibly priced. The first one I bought was a voodoo pen at $ 17 and the liquids run about $ 4-$ 5 for a 12 – 15 ml bottle. They also tend to have a sale bin which I love! I don’t feel bad not using a bottle I get for $ 2 if I don’t like it! I must say the voodoo pen is incredibly simple to use and I love it! I’ve since upgraded to a mechanical mod but keep both voodoo pens for ease. It’s definitely better for the car then a mechanical mod.

The staff are wonderful! They have great prices on cigarettes and accept coupons. They carry every brand of cigarettes and lots of cigars. Some weekends there is complimentary beer or other beverages.

Stopping by here today wasn’t part of my plans. But since my wife, who can’t stand any type of smoke that doesn’t come from a fireplace or fire pit, suggested that I stop in to pickup a few cigars, how could I refuse… I’ve visited this cigar shop for about 10 years now. The store is stocked with most cigars that are currently in production. The owner is always in and very helpful. The girls working there are always checking to make sure that you’ve found everything that you stopped on for. Even though I don’t get to stop in often, the service and products have always been consistently very good.

I looked around Wilmington for a good cigar shop and found it at Tobacco Field. I liked that the cigars were in humified cabinets along a wall, rather than in a room(walk-in humidor). Those rooms sometimes smell musty and damp. The selection was strong. They had nearly all the well-known brands along with many other lesser knowns. The prices were very good compared to what I pay in Los Angeles. I guess the tobacco tax is lower and there is no sales tax in DE. The shop closed early, but that wasn’t a big deal.

The Tobacco Field had a surprising good selection(Fuente, CAO, Monte Cristo etc.) for a shop that seemed to focus on cheap cigarette and lotto tickets. I thought their prices were very reasonable and they were certainly kept at 70⁄70.

When it comes to cigar shops there really are only a few criteria to judge them by:…1) Selection, 2) Price, and 3) Humidification. The rest is pretty much meaningless. For selection they have the good ones. And by good ones I mean good by U.S. standards. When oh when do I get back to Barcelona for my Montecristos? Anyway, sometimes the good, hard-to-find cigars are not on the floor visibly. I have found I sometimes need to ask for them and they are underneath the standard shelving. I can live with that. At least they always have what I want. Prices are standard market pricing. Humidification? Yay… when I actually light a cigar purchased from this place it is perfectly humidified. Now if only there was a place to smoke a cigar, drink, AND sit INSIDE… I could die happy.

In a nutshell: friendly staff, a surprisingly good cigar selection, and nice leather seating if you want to stay and smoke. I was surprised by what appears at first to be another generic strip mall«tobacco» shop. This usually implies a cigarette shop. Here, most of the floor space is given over to premium cigars, although there are naturally cigarettes behind the counter. There are also some cigarillos, some decent machine-mades, a very few pipes, and a tiny pipe tobacco selection. Stop by and pick up a Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur № 1 or Arturo Fuente Double Château, just 2 of my favorites which they had in stock.
