It was Wednesday. Not a seat to be found at the bar when I walk in to wait for my takeout order. Then I found the reason why — it was Meatballs and Martinis– deals on drinks and free food. Soon my order was ready and I was on my way. The pizza was tasty — good thin crispy crust and nice blend of sauce and cheese. The salad had a delicious Nana blended dressing. The wings were ok but exactly as advertised. Anthony’s might be a franchise but it is a good option for folks looking for delicious Pizza and like items. Since the Mecca of Pizza — NYC — is hours away, this is a great local option for a pizza fix.

Indifferent truck pizza with partially charred crust staffed by indifferent personnel. The last time we stopped into this place was when they opened. We never went back. I read the online reviews and figured I must have missed something. The only thing I missed was the opportunity to pass on the place. We sat down, were asked whether the wait person«could grab us a drink», ordered at the same time the drinks were«grabbed». Received a plate, napkin, fork, and knife(reminded me of a cafeteria). The pizza was put on a wire rack, the server put a slice on each plate, did not ask«would you like something else»(or similar), headed off to chit-chat(along w/a bevy of idle, chit-chatting servers), and that was the end of her. We partially ate the GREAZY(yes. .. w/a CAPITAL«Z») truck-like(no offense to good truck pizzas) offering, flagged down another server, paid the bill, and escaped. We will not be back.. . I would rather head onto a college campus and eat their truck pizza. Overpriced crap, indifferent, non-existent«service».

I’ve been to Anthony’s twice and both times had a great experience! The meatball pizza was to die for! I usually don’t order the same item each time I go to a restaurant but it was so good the first time I had to get it again. Very nice moderately classy restaurant with friendly waitstaff. I will definitely be going back!

It was ahh, the waitress rushed us out the door it felt like and they really only have pizza, and I know it is a pizza place but they could use a few more items.

I ordered a Margherita and specified that they use their least-expensive Tequila. The drink was $ 9.25. What a ripoff! I can’t imagine what it would cost if they used their more-expensive brand!!! I’m certainly not returning! I sent an email to the owner, but he/she never responded!

Anthony’s seems to have a love or hate relationship with people. I don’t really love or hate it. Nice atmosphere, but rather average Neapolitan pizza. I’m not a fan of the sauce. Very limited selection of sides and beers, we were recommended to get the wings which were baked and smothered in garlic/spices — not bad. Overall, if you’re looking for this style of pizza in this area, I recommend going to Ravanesi over Anthony’s.

Overpriced and not flavorful pizza. Should have known better when I walked in and it was practically empty.

I don’t understand how anyones enjoyed their food here. I just came here with my family and the only thing that was good was their tomato basil and mozzarella salad, because honestly, how could you mess that up? We ordered their wings and they were way too salty. We ordered their meatballs and they weren’t even hot. We got a meatball pizza which was the second best thing we got. We also ordered the cauliflower pizza and I was extremely excited for it only to be extremely disappointed. It was wayyyyyyy too salty none of us finished our first slice. Our waitress Lilianna was also really avoidant of our table she never once came up to check to see how things were so the only time I was able to tell her we weren’t happy was when we were asking for the check. We also tried so many times to flag her down, calling out«excuse me» but she didnt give us the time of day. When I told her about the salty pizza she continued to ask if we wanted a box for it… Like OBVIOUSLY not. She gave us the check without taking the pizza off of it and when I asked her if she could take it off she very carelessly said, «I already talked to the manager about it and she’s going to come over.» Okay… Cool but why did you not tell us as you dropped the check off that you were doing anything to take care of it? Then when the manager came over she started telling us that there’s Romano cheese on the pizza and that’s why people tend to find it too salty and that«next time if we ever want to try the pizza again»(seriously?) that we should ask for less Romano. So if other people tend to have the same problem why weren’t we warned when we ordered it that it may be too salty so maybe we want to go light on the Romano? They were very reluctant to accommodate to us and it was a very annoying and frustrating experience. I’ve been a waitress for 7 years so I know what I should expect at a restaurant and this place is not doing its job.

I stopped by here on the way to the mall and I’m so happy I did. I had an incredible dinner and was able to watch NFL playoffs in front of me. So my fiancé is happy with her shopping and I’m suffice with football. Excellent pizza, very fresh, and very flavorful. I will definitely be back!

We came here for dinner before our movie. Service is prompt and the restaurant is very clean. The mozzarella salad was good but the white pizza was lacking in garlic. Definitely not a bad place and I can’t judge the other pizzas that they offer.

Every time we go to Anthony’s we have a pleasant experience. Last night we sat at the bar and Jasmine made a wonderful dirty martini. Our salad and pizza were delicious! I love the crispy pizza! The staff are superb. My favorite place for Martinis, meatballs and pizza.

I think at the end of the day this is pretty much a 3.5 star place. It’s not really as «bad» as a 3 but not quite on the 4 star level. The price slightly more than your average pizza place but it is in-line with any other place you sit down and eat at. Food was good, not amazing. Prices were reasonable. It sits in a strip mall so the ambiance outside it what it is, but inside it’s nice, a bit on the low-light side. Service was good. In all, for where you’re at I think you could certainly do a lot worse. The wings were good, and were recommended as something to try. They were different in that they were not obnoxiously greasy or full of sauce. More of a dry roast with caramelized onions and some bread. Pretty good, easy to eat and I did not feel like I was whaling in the calories. They say the pizza is «well-done» but it was not a bad thing. It was cooked just fine. We got the sausage & broccoli raub pizza and it was a pretty good combination. I ended up having 3 slices and we took the leftovers home and they warmed up well the next day. Pizza was balanced well, not too greasy. Solid. The unsweetened tea was from a bottle which I didn’t like since it was not endless refills. But it is what it is. We ended up coming here after a bike race on the way home. And for sure it hit the spot. Maybe not your marquee Friday night meal, but for early Sunday dinner before a 2 hour drive home it was certainly a solid choice.

Love this place. The pizza is so good. I usually have a regular or pepperoni but yesterday I tried the fresh mozzarella and basil(their Margarita version) — excellent! I had a choice of fresh tomatoes or sauce. 1st place I’ve heard of that does that! I prefer the sauce unless the tomatoes are diced. The atmosphere in there is great and the customer service is excellent. The staff is very accomodating and professional and the prices are good too. I live 35 minutes away, but every time I need to go to Concord Mall, Trader Joe’s, or NTB I make my way over to Anthony’s. Well worth it.

One of my all-time favorite pizzas. I usually order pepperoni and onion pie and the crust is awesome. I love well done pizza and not a fan of doughy and overly cheesy pies. They have also a decent craft beer selection. The house salad is very good and wings are awesome. Service is consistently good. Hot tip: Discounted craft beers on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

I love Anthony’s coal fired pizza. It is thin crust style and is fresh and delicious. Try the mozzarella tomato sandwhich it is so good! The focaccia is like homemade pizza bread. Also they have eat in and take out services. Eatting in is actually very nice, they have a bar and all

Not New York style and not Chicago style, this is different pizza. I don’t know what«coal-fired» matters for it, but it did make for a charred sort of crust. Not burnt, just different. Of the pizza choices, the one with the roasted cauliflower appealed. Meatless, which is maybe healthier. And why not? It arrived quickly and cut into squares, not slices. Lots of toppings and it had an excellent texture and an excellent taste. Quite different and a quick sprinkle of the hot pepper seeds really kicked it up. Top notch service from Alex, who didn’t mind at all that I sat there for about two hours with my pizza and just the one beer while I surfed away on their nice wifi. Awesome tunes, but then, I really like the ‘80s. You kids and your new-fangled«music» might not appreciate these classics.

OK, I know there are a lot of people that love this place and I get it, but I’m not one of the«Anthony Lover’s». Not that I’m a hater either but I just don’t see what’s the big deal. Pizza is ok and wings and things are good but does not live up to some of the reviews I’ve read and the food I’ve eaten there several times. I’ve really gone back this many times because 1) my wife seems to enjoy it there, and 2) because there is not a lot to chose from while shopping in the immediate area when you get hungry. They brag about«well done» and I’ve even asked for food well done that simply was not. Believe me as a Chef I know what well done is. Nice place small cozy and plenty of TV action. Staff Is very attentive and prices are in line with the food and ambience. Parking is good and place is always clean. I just think there are way too many«Great» and I do mean«Great» places to get pizza and wings in a similar setting in the surrounding area.

Definitely the place to go if you want«well done» pizza. You can’t go wrong with the traditional, but their white pizza is even better in my opinion. The coal oven gives it a nice crispy crust, but it’s not burned. Parts of the crust may be a little on the burnt side, but I think this gives it character. Be sure to try the coal oven roasted wings. They are delicious. They’re a little crispy on the outside, but so juicy on the inside. I don’t eat pizza as often as I used to, but when I’m in the mood, better believe I’m going to Anthony’s. I’m definitely a fan of coal oven pizza.

Pros: the service was great! The eggplant was good, I dont know how they sliced it so thinly, but it was tasty. We had the white pizza, which was different from either white pizzas I’ve had before. It had no sauce(as is traditional), a very thin layer of what seemed like REALLY good ricotta cheese, and then mozzarella on top. Very unique and delicious. Cons…all sodas and teas were bottled. I get its a convenience for the place, and I guess they clean up on recycling, but I don’t prefer it. I like fountain soda and brewed iced tea. It was LOUD in there… the music was loud and it was hard to hear. The table wobbled, which is distracting to me when I’m trying to enjoy my food and have a conversation. Finally, our plates were plastic. I am getting cranky in my old age, but I believe if you are paying 33.00 for a pizza, one soda and an eggplant app, you could serve your food on china. To me, it’s a letdown eating some beautiful food on a plastic dish. Their food deserved better.
