This is an old fashioned mens store. They lean towards business clothes, so if you are looking for an aewsome selection of sweatpants, you had better go somewhere else. The most casual their clothes get is just about at the country club level. If you are looking for trendy fashon brands, don’t waste your time here.
This is a different type of business model that we are used to at the local mall. There is a decent selection of items in the store, but they do not carry a huge amount of stock. They are at their best when you let them help you, so have an idea of what you need.
So, what do they actually do? Well, They do one thing that has set them apart from almost every other Mens store I have been to… They make sure that everything you buy actually fits. Most mens stores (including Brooks Brothers) employ sales people, whose primary goal is to get you to make a purchase. Don’t get me wrong, Wright and Simon want you to buy their products, but they want to make sure what you get really fits, and makes you look good.
The most important rule of buying a suit or sports coat is that it MUST fit correctly. They sell quality brands, and stick with the premise that you should buy the best quality available, and you will get a better product that looks better longer than a cheaper product.
Finally, they take pride in offering as many «made in America» products available. Last year they actually had a «made in America» sale.
