Be cautious when using a credit or debit card! An employee tried to steal from us claiming we authorized an outrageous tip. This is why we always tip with cash! Other than that, a cool place to listen to music and dance.

Saw a bouncer put out the cigarette a customer was smoking on the guy’s face as he tried to kick the guy out. I was literally appalled at how the bouncer could be so cruel and aggressive. Not the first time. I only go back because it is one of the main venues for Wilmington.

Enjoy the lineup they bring into town. Right now it’s biggest in town. Wish they would add a working air conditioning system though! Sold out summer concerts can get unbearable pretty quickly. Be ware!

Performed here and felt the Staff and crew were both kind and on point. Easy load in and out. Great sound. Good experience overall.

I still like that Wilmington has a venue but on multiple times, the performers have experienced some major technical problems. This should be looked into as it’s making some not want to return. Please keep music alive in Wilmington!

Went here for a concert and while the concert was great, the experience at the venue wasn’t all that great. They have a solid bar setup but the bar ran out of certain beers halfway through the night. The staff was nice and friendly and venue security is definitely on top of everything that goes on during the night… for better or for worse. The bathrooms weren’t clean — if it was later in the night I would’ve been more understanding but it’s unacceptable when you arrive early and have to use a dirty bathroom. But the straw that broke the camels back was that as soon as the headliner came on, there was this big spill/leak that engulfed the dance floor. If you walked in with dry shoes, you definitely left with soaked ones.

Just saw the bouncer of this club ram a woman in the chest as she was walking out(she was also with the crew helping them pack their gear) and he said«that’s what happens when you walk into a brick wall». Obscene. Chauvinism at its worst here at ziggies– understand these guys are trying to do their job but they crossed the line

Horrible venue, with a sketchy atmosphere. Felt understaffed as the staff was nonexistent when needed. This was probably because they were tending to at least a dozen different fights around the venue. I’ve never been in such a hostile atmosphere when seeing a country band. Seemed like the staff couldn’t effectively maintain a civil atmosphere. I don’t recommend attending any shows here unless you’re a broke college student with nothing else to do. Beware.

The people who work here are horrible. Some giant man stands in front of the ladies room enforcing the most ridiculous rule i’ve even heard. Only two people are allowed in at a time. I just wanted to fix my hair. I thought that was stupid. Later when I did make it into the bathroom, the toilets were stopped up and overflowing. I was also put off by the bartender who was super rude. I ordered a vodka sprite, which was $ 6 and couldn’t taste any vodka. Weak drinks and rude employees put me in a bad mood, but the band was great. Another time I went to a concert there, I was standing on the second floor with my boyfriend, and a couple approached us, and the guy said something in my boyfriend’s ear basically asking us to move. I didn’t know at the time, but he had asked if they could have sex in that corner, and they did. I’m scarred for life. It’s just overall a nasty place. Maybe that’s why they guard the bathrooms, who knows. i just don’t appreciate how they treat everyone like a child. Another reviewer said that they dragged her friend out by the arm unrightfully, and that is so accurate. During the show, these super mean looking guys stand up on platforms at the front of the stage and glare at everyone. I literally feel like a criminal there. i don’t know how the exhibitionist couple got away with that stunt when people are dragged out and treated like terrorists for holding their friend’s beer for a second at 20 years old. Someone else said in their review that you shouldn’t go unless a band you really like is playing. I agree. NOT a good place to just hang out.

Went for New Year’s Eve. Open bar tickets with over 1200 people 4 bartenders. Kept running out of everything. Bar tenders wouldn’t even look at you if you didn’t have a $ 20 «tip» in your hand. A very poor experience. Manager should be fired. Don’t go for any event but especially the New Years thing.

Unless your absolute favorite band is playing here DONOTGO! After checking out ID’s and paying a $ 25 cover charge for a friend and I to get in we walked over to the bar and each ordered a beer we walked up to the stage to listen to an extremely mediocre band when my friend was grabbed by the arm by the door man and dragged to the front like a 5 year old in trouble on our way up front he snatched the beer from her hand and threw it in the trash. When we got to the front he and two other employees were saying they were kicking us out for underage drinking. My friend then pulled out her ID and showed him that they apparently can’t do simple math because she was actually about to be 22. There were no apologies no refunded money the only thing the guy who made an a** out of himself did was get another beer from the bar tender for her. It was embarrassing and they were all jerks about it. GOTOWHISKEY! We had such a great time there and they hire TALENT!

My husband and me came here for a concert. We had a really nice time at concert. The venue is really small for amount of people there. I felt bad for the last 20 people that showed up. Those people didn’t seem have anywhere to stand.

My friends and I went here on Sunday for the Trapt show and I’ll tell you this definitely wasn’t my favorite venue. The upstairs balcony wasn’t open so I didn’t get to see up there but the venue was a large room without any seats or stools, I don’t mind standing but while wearing heels all night I like to have a place to rest my feet for a moment or two. There are two bars on the main floor which is good but the other issue I had was there’s no patio or lounge or a place to escape the music. I sometimes like to take a 5 or 10 minute break to talk to my friends or smoke a cigarette but the only place to go was outside and there isn’t anywhere to sit or cover from the elements(it was raining). The show was awesome but i’m just really not a huge fan of this venue.

I’ve been here at least three times since living in Wilmington for various concerts. When entering, be prepared to be searched if you have a bag with you. Last time I was there, the man actually reached his hand in to get a better look under my sweater. I don’t think he was really allowed to do that. The space is medium-sized for a venue. The bottom floor has a full bar. When they first opened, the bar was on the second floor, but they must have moved it recently. The top floor has a balcony where you can see the band. They also recently put in wooden stools, which is a nice addition. The management are pretty good at keeping shows coming and providing various genres of music. I’ve been here mostly for Reggae/Rock, but they have had rock, pop, country, and other genres appear. The prices are reasonable, and seem to usually range from $ 10 – 25. The sound system is pretty good — I have definitely heard much worse. Last time I was there, however, the show got really behind schedule and the headliner was almost 2 hours late. Other than that, definitely a great addition to downtown Wilmington.

Great venue, great location. The parking garage across the street is well priced so parking isn’t an issue.

I only go for live music, but from what I observe it should be just fine for comedy as well. Sound is on the money; plenty of *friendly* staff(what a concept), bars located throughout with good selection of draft beer /liquor and clean as possible /stocked restrooms. Parking in the deck across the street if you need it also. You can tell that the owner of this venue knows what he is doing in this business. Keep the acts rolling in Jay.
