Sally R. who gave Beefmastor Inn a bad review clearly doesn’t know steak, OR Southern hospitality. Her review is 100% wrong. The steaks at Beefmastor are excellent… the best I’ve ever had, on par with the white table cloth steak house I visited in San Antonio which is nationally ranked. The«iceberg lettuce» salad bar which she hated is plain, yes, but the ingredients are fresh and so delicious. The service is also top notch and friendly. I highly recommend Beefmastor.

Overrated — such a great reputation. Better quality steak and good beers would be a huge improvement. The guys know how to cook and have a special model. Cauliflower mash and asparagus and boom way better.

It’s okay. Steaks are good but pricey. It still is cool to me the loin is brought to the table and asked how big you want? Salad bar is okay. People love it because it takes so long to get in and folks party in the parking lot. Like cornhole and drinking party. Honestly!

This is the worst joke of a «steakhouse» I have ever had the misfortune at which to dine. The owner brings a slab of beef to the table and claims it is the best Rib Eye you will ever eat. I asked if he offered other cuts such as New York Strip, Filet etc… And if this was Prime. He said no other cuts available and it was CHOICE. For $ 31.50 we could help ourselves to the ICEBERGLETTUCE Salad BAR. The«steaks«that arrived were not even«CHOICE». And not the meat shown to us prior to ordering. **WORSTFOOD **WORSTSERVICE **BIGGESTRIPOFF

Absolutely loved this! So unique. One of the best steaks I have had in a very long time. Recommended by a friend of my daughters who knows the area. We would have drove right past it. Not much from the exterior. Loved the tailgating in the parking lot and the great service on the inside. Will definitely stop again next time we are in the area.

Drove from Raleigh to meet some friends here and it was«okay.» My husband and other men in our group raved after the meal, hence the 4 stars. I honestly thought it was 2 or 3 star worthy. Sure, the steak was good, but like other reviews said it is overpriced. The ambiance and atmosphere is horrible. Its a small room that seats about 30 people. Maybe everyone enjoys it so much because you have to wait an hour and by that time you’re starving so anything tastes good. The salad bar is what you would expect from a steak place. Beef Mastor– Please add sweet potatoes to your menu. Not everyone eats white potatoes and white flour bread. You’d also be supporting the local farmers.

Ate here this past weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday and it would be difficult to find a better cut of beef anywhere. Medium rare is the only way to go and the steak melts in your mouth! Make sure you get the grilled Vidalia onion in butter … Talk about sweeet. If you want the very best steak in Wilson(and possibly anywhere around), make sure you try the BeefMaster. Loved it!!!

We were so thrilled to get in without a wait. The chef and server were so accommodating. The salad bar was very fresh and had all the accoutrements including peanuts, raisins and yummy bacon. The steak was so tender and had a southern touch with the seasonings they use. The 8 oz. was perfect(prob more than 8oz). It was a great find and memorable meal on our way up North. They def have much longer waits on Friday and Saturday nights.

My only complaint is ribeye. Outside of the fact that they only serve ribeye, the food was great. It was well seasoned and the temps were perfect for both mine and my gf’s food. She even liked the butter enough to eat ¾ of a stick. The service was fast and friendly. There was a little wait, but for a smaller place with food this good, that’s no surprise! We’ll be back at some point.

My wife and I have been going to this place for years, and we have seen some changes. Price being one of the biggest changes. When we started going there we could get out for around 30 to 35 dollars for the two of us. Not now. It’s that much for each of us. I realize prices have gone up but for a place this size it seems high. Price aside the steak, potato, onion, salad and service are as good as they get. I love how the system works at this place. If you have to wait to get in you leave your name and type of car you are driving and return to your car. It’s possible to get a drink to enjoy while you wait in your car. One of the first times we visited there was a young blonde girl waitress’s that would stick her head out the door and yell your name. I could not believe anyone her size could yell that loud. It was nothing like I had ever seen or heard before. The blonde is gone but the name calling still happens. Once they call your name you go in and they will seat you. They ask what you would like to drink and your drink arrives very quickly. The chef comes to your table with a slab of rib-eye steak. He shows it you and ask what size steak you would like starting at around 8 ounces, more if you like, and how do you want it cooked. Once you have all of this out of the way you may visit the salad bar. The salad bar is small but everything is super fresh. you may return to the bar if you wish but I never do. I save room for my steak. The steak is very good and I have always gotten it the way I like it cooked. The salad bar has real bacon on it which you do not find any where else that I know of. The potatoes are always hot and the optional baked onion is very good as well. You can do as we do when we eat there, my wife orders an onion as she gives it to me. I love baked onions. They always have a new stick of butter on your table as well as salt, pepper, and sour cream. The only reason I did not give this place 5 stars is the price. Our bill came to more that 60 dollars before the tip. I new the price before we got there so it was not a surprise. All I’m saying is there is no menu to alert you to how much your bill can be. So if you get an 8 oz. steak with a tea your bill will be between 25 and 30 dollars each. Have a couple of beers and I’m sure you will have a nice bill. Is it worth it? Only you can decide. In and out in about 45 minutes. I love the place but I can’t afford to eat there that often, but I wish I could. I know the price of beef is high but for 60 dollars I can get more beef to cook at home. All and all we love the place, but it’s getting pricey to eat there. Once a year for us is about all we can stand. We ate there for our 46th wedding anniversary. Maybe next year maybe not.

They do one thing and do it perfectly. You are going to pull into the parking lot and doubt. I did. You will be wrong to do so. If you want a ribeye steak dinner that is better than you can cook at home, eat here. If you want anything else, they don’t do that. The service is excellent.
