Waited 2 hours after being seated for meal. Got up and left. Will not be back and nobody I know or any of my customers will. Servers advised that they had a group of 25 that held up things. For 2 hours!!!

I have nothing but praises for the food it was amazingly good. Chef Smitty even came out and made some recommendations that were spot on. The bartender Josh was also very pleasant and attentive. But what I think was the owner was a very obnoxious.

VERY good food! A little bit pricey, this is a NICE restaurant, not a grill steakhouse. Actually had bacon-​wrapped scallops, but they were fantastic! And my wife had salmon taco’s (special that night) — also superior.

«Shared» The Ribeye with my husband:) creamed spinach +mashed potatoes+ mushrooms:) the appetizer of fried oysters were wonderful!

This place is bad. Don’t waist your money here, they cannot cook a good steak. The only thing entertaining here are the drunks that this place seems to attract. I have learned a lot of new words, many that I cannot repeat, while eating here. I have given them several times to serve me a decent steak, and it has not happened. Shocked at the behavior that diners have to witness and hear at this place. WILL NOT BE BACK!

We ate at Pups tonight and it was the first time I hade ever been. We called and left a message about a reservation for tonight not knowing if we would get a call back. The owner called about 4:00 to let us know they had an available reservation. What wonderful customer service. When we arrived we were very pleasd with all the service from being seated to all the wait staff who waited on us, the owner even spoke to us. The food was phenomenal. We will definitely being going back. Awesome experience.

One of my favorite places in Wilson. I tried the Parmesan Crusted Chilean Sea Bass with orange glaze the first time I visited and I have never tried anything else. It has been perfect each time. My husband loves their steaks. On our most recent visit my daughter tried the chicken and said it was excellent. Moist and nicely seasoned.
We waited just a little longer than usual for our food and the owner came out to talk to us. We hadn’t even noticed a delay so no problem.
Highly recommend.

Pups food and staff are as good as it gets. Their menu is mainly steaks and seafood, with nightly app and entrée specials. This is hands-​down the best steak house in Wilson. There is also a bar area that has nightly drink specials and tv’s. Whether you are with a group of people, by yourself, or it’s a date night, Pup’s is a great spot.
They also feature artwork by local artist that is for sell. Gives you some wonderful things to look at while you wait, and maybe a treasure to take home!

Great dinner spot. I dined here solo when on a business trip to area and staff made me feel welcome. Owner even came over to say hello. Steak was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

The best restaurant I’ve found after nearly three years of living in Wilson (which, I realize, isn’t saying much). The price is steep for the area, but completely worth it. The parmesan-​crusted Sea Bass with some sort of orange glaze is phenomenal as are the crab cakes and the seared tuna appetizer.
Family came to visit and said their steak (can’t remember which they had) was the best they’ve ever had, and the chicken was good.
The salad bar is pretty typical and comes included with most meals – nothing special, but also leaves nothing to be desired.
Additionally, the management, waitstaff and bartender have always been very welcoming, accommodating and friendly.

Very unimpressed. Pups was recommend to me by several people, a friend was in from out if state so I thought it would be a good place to grab a couple of apps and drinks at the bar. When we walked in the hostess stand was empty, we stood there for a minute to no acknowledgment, we walked back to the bar and sat down (there were 4 empty seats). We ended up sitting at the bar for about 15 minutes and the bartender would not acknowledge us. She walked by us at least 6 times and even served the people next to us their second drink with out even giving us coasters. In the 15 minutes that we were there, she poured 4 glasses of wine from open bottles and then proceeded to try and look busy. Horrible service. Upsetting coming from such a highly recommended local establishment.
