I just recently dined at this location on 7÷6÷2015 for breakfast., I can honestly give it 1star. The food was blah and the service mediocre. The sweet tea was Brisk instant tea and the gravy tasted like something out of a dry powder mix. So far my favorite place to eat is Knead the Dough. Will not be back to dine here to Down on Main Street. I love to dine at local restaurants and truly try to give a fair response. The Only Reason This Place Is Still In Business Is Due To The Lack Of competition.

You have here a corner restaurant that has taken Young Street or the Main drag by storm. They have all the fine fixing for a great restaurant. First off, The young lady(Kati) that was my waitress not only was she polite, hard working, But also, Very helpful in telling me where to go. . (directions, points of interest) Geez. Ha, Ha, Ha… The restaurant it self was clean and convient to all major highways. Once I ordered my all time favorite of thick sliced french toast to be buried in powdered sugar and then I washed it down with a cup of hot tea. Boy!, Did that ever hit the spot. For a little corner restaurant that has been here for only three(3) years they certainly have established themselves very well. Plenty of parking for all vehicles and your motorcycles. Cheers!

Over the weekend we stayed at The Wilson House, which was supposed to serve a Continental Breakfast. 9:00 a.m. and we were starving, so extremely relieved to see there was a diner across the street. Rumbling stomachs led us across the street. If we weren’t awake when walking across the street, walking into the diner slapped our eyes wide open. Bright, bright yellow greeted us saying … WAKEUP!!! TIMEFORBREAKFAST. It seems as though this is the place for the locals to meet up for breakfast & conversation. The place was crowded, and the smells were welcoming. Our waitress was friendly & inviting & seated us immediately. I had the Western Omelet which was stuffed to overflowing with ham. I could have used a few more home fries, but hey … the omelet was definitely enough to send me out into the world with a full belly. My husband had the mystery plate, which was scrambled eggs with various meats, etc scrambled into the eggs. My husband said, while they’re OK, when you’ve had Sophia’s breakfasts, it paled in comparison. We are grateful we found this little island of freshly made breakfasts in what seemed like a desert island of deserted streets.

Outstanding blueberry pancakes, waitress is overworked and adorable, typical seniors hangout but nice spot for breakfast!
