Pretty good experience, normal for a Café Yumm! Great place to have a meal that isn’t costco food while we waited for our tires to get installed. Was a little concerned that there wasn’t any soap in the bathroom, but the employees let us you the employee sink behind the counter. Restaurant itself was clean and bright.

Good fresh food, pretty simple but good ingredients. The service at this location is terrible though. Been here 30+ times and they are always understaffed. I have watched my food sit on the window for 5+ minutes before anyone bothers to hand it to me multiple times. Food is definitely worth a try, but it will take 15 – 20 min even when they are empty it seems. They have decent Beer on tap though.

Over priced for the quality you get. Tried this place 2 different times and was disappointed enough to not want to come back. Bland food, and oo much vinegar from the items i tried.

I really like the original yumm bowl, but the wait, inside and drive thru, is seriously ridiculous! Just waited 10 minutes in the drive thru, backed out and walked in to see if it would be any faster and was told it would be another 15 minutes! Who has that kind of time? They said they were ‘short staffed’. I counted 6 employees! Hmm? @wilsonvillecafeyumm

The food is fine, but the service is ridiculous. I called to order something to eat there at the location. When I got there I ended up standing in line for 10 minutes while my food sat in the window. One person was running their whole front end, so people were leaving because of the wait. When I finally got to the front, they had made everything to go because ‘it’s their policy.’ I then ask for things from the window & this idiot continues putting everything into individual bags despite me, again, asking him to stop because I’m planning to eat this there. It was the craziest waste of paper, as I took everything out of the bags at that point, and again asked for a bowl so I could eat this here. I think I’ll go next door for soup next time… There’s no excuse to be this wasteful. And to just provide such poor service to customers.

Meh, this chain has a nice concept but is highly inconsistent. This location is not consistent. Nor is the Eugene/Springfield exit one. Arrived to a very nice gentleman greeting us up front and explaining free samples were available to us of any bowls. We had been here, so no samples needed today. We figured out our order and placed it – a lot of food was ordered for 3 people. There were about two other tables present in the restaurant at the time we arrived(1:45PM), but it was very slow overall in terms of business. Tables were sticky and some even dirty in the dining room. An employee came out with a large tray of food to deliver, and then placed it down in front of the people who ordered after us, on their table, which was 10 feet from where we were sitting. The ladies at this table stated it wasn’t their food, and we realized it was ours, telling the employee it was the wrong table(not too mention the wrong table card/number). The ladies insisted it wasn’t theirs, and the employee insisted it WAS theirs. All the time, we are calling out to her to state she has it wrong and the food belongs to us. Then, she picks up all the food, and brings it to us. At this point, the food is luke-warm at best, not too mention touched by other people with the plate exchanges. The employee was«out too lunch» figuratively, and overall the experience was underwhelming. Tried the new Zucchini/Corn bowl, and was unimpressed – no flavor, nothing unique. My dining partners did enjoy the«bean soup», even though it was more like a solid-state chili(very thick). Love the concept, but the delivery needs work – pun intended.

If my visit last night had been my first, I never would have gone back to a Yumm Café. Make no mistake, I love these places, so this review is specifically for the Wilsonville location. First, you guys need to just give people their beverages after they’ve ordered and paid. It seems silly to have someone bring your drinks and then bring your food. I had one occasion where they didn’t bring my beverage until after I got my food. Second, the restaurant last night was filthy. The area with condiments was gross. The containers that hold the flatware were dirty and the flatware didn’t look very clean. Every(and I am not exaggerating) table was dirty. Here’s the rub, the place was pretty empty. I even saw a guy come clean a(as in ONE) table then go disappear into the back room. I’ve got to think there’s rules about how often you clean tables and other table tops. Lastly, my food came out cold and the tempe was burned. Overall not a great experience. I frequent here often so I really hope this restaurant gets cleaned up because if it continues to go down hill, I’ll start going to the Lake Grove location.

I ordered the chicken bento. The chicken was very hard and way overlooked. I saw them heat up the chicken in the microwave. Come on, make it fresh and tender. I won’t be back. Place was clean and the people were friendly.

I’ve been here twice. Good food, but it’s so filthy! Both times we’ve visited there are no tables clean! I really want to like it… but if the dining area is dirty-one can only imagine how they keep the kitchen. Restaurant is grossly understaffed. They were slammed with customers inside & at drive-thru & the 2 – 3 people working could not keep up. We waited forever(& we were first to order). We were finally served ice cold chicken skewers & a salad with no dressing? We took skewer back to counter & instead of heating it up-they threw it out…& then it ends up they were out of chicken! Then we had to wait to get a refund on our skewer. We watched as numerous people ordered & then attempted to sit down but could not find a clean table. I would not go back to this location. Poorly managed!

I’m totally hooked. Healthy, tasty fastish food. The yumm sauce makes the dish, I make my own bowls regularly at home.

What you’d from a fast food chain, even if the chain is small. Food is fair, varies with the day. No real consistency. If you’re hungry and want something better than the national chains, this place qualifies. At least the ingredients appear reasonably fresh. If you’re looking for gourmet food, don’t go to fast food restaurants, so I don’t understand the complaints about quality.

This will be our fourth time eating here… and most likely our last! Waited in line at drive through for ten minutes, not moving, then parked and came in. Took our Oder wrong and had to wait to fix it… Then no clean tables to sit at, I asked two different employees, while another employee sat listening to me ask and did nothing! Ten minutes later an employee finally cleaned a few tables, not ours we did it our selves! There is four people in the restaurant total. Food took another 10 minutes. Very poor customer service and promptness… Not worth it at all. Simply things to fix and no excuse for such poor service!

Great food, and able to accommodate dietary needs(vegan, gluten free, or whatever). The drive-in is slow, but if there’s no line, then it makes sense. I love the tempeh!

Love the food but the drive through was so SLOW! OMG! I could have made it myself faster. I wonder how much business they have lost because people get tired of waiting. I would have left if there wasn’t a car behind me. I’m talking longer than 15 to order so a total of 20+ min.

I AM a fan. For a quick«healthy» lunch option, you can’t beat the Yumm bowl. If you order sauce on the side or light on the sauce — it gets even healthier. A local chain, I see it is growing. Hope the expansion does not decrease the Yummness!

I became a fan of Café Yumm years ago in Eugene, then the Corvallis location and now Wilsonville. I’ve been through the drive-thru three times now at the Wilsonville location. The Medium original Yumm bowl is my absolute fave. The drive thru is a little slower than other fast food places, but I feel Café Yumm is a step above fast food. Everything is fresh ingredients, not frozen and fried. I will be back, probably once a week.

There’s always a disproportionate amount of rice. It wasn’t this way when I frequented the PSU location. Also, open earlier! All the moms are at Target in the morning and we would love to stop for a healthy bite at this convenient drive-thru but it’s never open by the time I’m leaving! Such a bummer.

This is a review by a vegetarian You know what you get when you healthify fast food? you get fast food. You get things with a lot of sugar. You get dishes with more rice than any one non-sumo practicing person has ever eaten in one sitting. You get slaw that was clearly from a pre-shredded bag. The place is clean and quick and somewhat airy and sunny for outdoor mall eating. It also did a decent job of keeping me from overshopping at CostCo next. That’s about all that I can say positively about it

I have friends who rave about this place, so I expected more. I ordered Asian Man Salad. It was very average – the chicken was flavorless, but the almonds were good. It looked pretty but didn’t taste fresh. I know this is fast food, but after visiting so many great food carts, I expected better flavor for my lunch. My daughter ordered a side of chicken skewer with her average tasting salad – the chicken was tough, dry and covered with a syrupy teriyaki sauce; it was cloyingly sweet and artificial tasting. Sadly, we were there on a busy day, so our fast food took 25 minutes. When we asked for a to go container because we were about to be late, the pleasant but incompetent food handler never brought it. We won’t waste our time or money here again, although the building and dining space is lovely. Just needs better food.

Café Yumm is good! I’ve been to this location a few times, but the last time I went some of the rice wasn’t cooked all the way. That really is my only complaint. They seem to always be busy. I always get the small smoky bowl which has a little spice to it. If you’re on then go there’s a convenient drive through. I do like how Wilsonville is getting some good restaurants, it’s about time! :)
