I’m going to have to try this place again on a day when it’s not a hectic busy crowded event. Given the circumstances of it being the Stonewall parade day, they sat us quickly and they were reasonably understanding when we needed to add seats for friends who joined later. The Santa Fe Salad was very tasty! My other dish was the potato skins which I found to be a little dry. I ordered them without bacon(vegetarian here) and they put bacon on them. I scraped it off, given the hustle bustle of the day, I wasn’t going to send them back… but regardless they were tasteless and dry. My friends got Brussels sprouts and raved about them. The lemon feta chicken dish had a beautiful side of green beans. All the dishes were presented well. They were kind to(without even asking) set the check up by «seat #» so we didn’t even have to do math to split it 6 ways.

Our second time at MYM. Just as yummy as the first. A cute little gastropub in the heart of Wilton Manors. We initially had a MYM burger at one of the burger battles last year. It was even better at the restaurant. The space is interesting with several tables outside on the patio with a very open almost south beach feel and Inside part that had a very intimate casual yet romantic ambience. The menu has a little something for everyone. Salmon bruschetta was a big hit at our table as were the stuffed mushrooms and the black bean humus. The short rib tacos are the best I’ve had and of course we had a mind you manors burger with a side of their amazing Brussel sprouts. One of my friends had the blackened prime rib sandwich which he devoured before I could even ask how it was. We finished with a slice of key lime pie. Also fantastic. Great service. Great atmosphere. We will be back

Located a short walk down the main Wilton Manors shopping center, I hand-picked this place for dinner during my short visit to Ft. Lauderdale with a couple of friends. It was a Saturday night and it was a bit dead with only 4 – 5 tables occupied for dinner. I’m not sure if it gets more lively or crowded for brunch. I had the skirt steak and it came out a bit underdone, but they gladly fired it up for me to my liking. My friends both got sandwiches and it seems like this place does well with those types of dishes. I also got the Tater Bombs and the flavor was good, but I think it could have been crunchier on the outside. It was all a bit gummy and soft compared to the ones I’ve had at Umami Burger. We didn’t opt for drinks because we were saving ourselves for later. To sum it up, here is why I’d recommend this restaurant: — Drinks look tasty — Burgers/Sandwiches are a must — Great service — Diverse menu

Great Service. The food. Needs tweaking though. The fried mushroom was a generous portion with a very light batter but it was underseasoned. The Cuban Sandwich was lacking the vibrant distinct flavor of the cheese, pickles, mustard. The meat needed more seasoning. One thing I found was a real downer was serving cold limp sweet potato fries. The Asian wings were very flavorful . I want to come back but a little wary from what I just had. Was underwhelmed. The prices were very decent for the amount of food you get

MYM is a small gastropub that serves great cocktails and a small selection of tasty burgers and small plates. I love their burgers, their cocktails, and their tasty tater tots. The servers are great and I have absolutely no complaints.

We went to Wilton Manor to eat at another restaurant up the street. It was Valentine’s Day and they had a long wait. We walked around and found this place. They had open tables which concerned me about the possible experience we might have. I shouldn’t have worried at all and would have missed some great food. Service was quick and friendly with server very helpful since this was our first time here. We didn’t get bar drinks so nothing to report there. Our ice tea was fresh brewed and refilled often. We each ordered a Philly steak sandwich which had plenty of meat on an extremely fresh very soft roll. For me toasting the roll would have been nice and helped make it a little easier to pick up. I like green peppers on my steak sandwich and there were none. There was plenty of meat, tender, and cooked medium which was spot on. The onions were very mild and I love onions so a little stronger would suit me, but I’ll bet many people would like it just the way they prepare it. Now to the items that were the best by far, the sides. The Brussels sprouts were amazing. They are cut into quarters and cooked grilled perfect with what seemed like garlic salt. The macaroni and cheese is the best I’ve ever had anywhere! So creamy, with several different cheeses and bread crumbs on top that are baked or broiled to a thin crisp layer. Either of these are worth the trip by themselves. We picked a dessert to share. It was Called Key Lime Pie. Crust was buttery graham crackers, so soft and just perfect. The filling really had very little lime flavor, a hint of lime would be what I’d call it. The texture and flavor was more like cheese cake. It was good, but either needs a new name or much more flavor. We will be back to try other items on our annual vacation to Ft Lauderdale. Please don’ t pass this place by and miss a very nice restaurant that knows how to cook great food.

nice décor, nice staff, nice weather. simple place for simple pleasures. i had the fried chicken ranch sandwich, and while not generally a fan of fried foods, this one hit the spot. it was fried but not greasy, and the blend of flavors was perfect. nothing in the medley overpowered anything else, and it was filling but not heavy. the french fries were tasty as well. i had the roasted brussel sprouts as a side, and they were appetizing. at most places like this i probably wouldn’t risk ordering this kind of dish, but i was glad that i did. they could have used a splash — or a spash more? — of something else(onion? garlic? butter/olive oil?) but they were perfectly roasted and flavorful enough. suffice it to say that, again, i was glad that they were on my plate. my friend had the lunch special, which i think involved a blackened prime rib sandwich, and he was also quite happy. so all in all it’s a worthwhile stop for gastropub sort of fare.

So loved this place!!! My daughter and I were going to Painting with a Twist this particular evening and we wanted to grab a quick bite beforehand. Of course she found this place on Unilocal in the area we were. We decided to sit at the open bar which half is outside and half inside. Our bartender was beyond awesome. We told her we were in somewhat of a rush and she took excellent care of us quickly. Inside they have a small dining area where they had a large group of ladies having the time of their life. This is such a great bar with delicious food. We started with a glass of Rose and black bean hummus. It was different and very good. I then ordered the Mahi tacos. Wow, they were fresh, had such layered flavored of seasonings. The taste was awesome!!! We were surprised at how good the food was here. Service was fabulous! Prices are reasonable. Cool casual spot that is super friendly with very good food. Check them out, so worth popping in.

Definitivamente volveremos!

we had our first meal today at Mind Your Manors, and it won’t be our last. we had burgers that were heaven-sent. I had the Black Bean Burger With pepper jack cheese and a side of mac and cheese. The mac and cheese may have been the best ever had. The waiter was gracious, efficient and low key. We enjoyed relaxing in such a friendly ambiance. Yet the style of service and presentation were classy. Relaxed yet elegant is the best way to dine. Can not wait to return. Kudos.

ABSOLUTELYAMAZING!!! Drinks are great, food is delicious, staff is fun and friendly. I loved the garage doors that open up the whole restaurant, and the spirulina Bloody Mary is a MUST! I’m a health food enthusiast so if you don’t know about spirulina, it’s got every essential amino acid along with b-12, calcium, and loads of other nutrients. I’d say it’s a smart way to start your Sunday Funday ;)

11⁄6 — Thank you Unilocal for helping me find a place on a very short notice. Due to the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show my plans about eating on the beach were derailed, but after experiencing Mind Your Manors, I’m glad they did. To be honest, we were heading to another restaurant. We decided to check out the entire row of restaurants before making a decision. Once we walked by MYM, we knew this was the place. I love how open it is, I mean there isn’t a door, you just literally walk in. They have a huge bar on the left side of the restaurant. We decided to sit there. I am big on ambiences, and this place had just that. The lights are dim just right. Vanessa came to greet us right away. She made various drink recommendations. I ordered the Charles & Charles Rose,($ 6). We ordered the Jenni’s Black Bean Hummus, A mix of black bean, fresh garlic, extra virgin olive oil, lemon and seasonings. Served with grilled pita bread, tomatoes and cucumbers($ 7.50). This was by far the best hummus I’ve had so far. It was so garlicky, the flavors were on point. The pita bread was hot. I didn’t get why they would give you big pieces of tomato or slices of cucumber as another choice. We didn’t touch them, we actually ended up asking for more pita bread. We also put in an order of Braised Short Rib Tacos and the Mahi-Mahi Tacos. The Braised Short Rib Tacos are served inside three warm flour tortillas, topped with pico de gallo, shredded lettuce and cilantro lime mayo($ 12). I told them I did not want the cilantro lime mayo. The Mahi Mahi Tacos are prepared in their house blackening spices, rubbed into mahi filets, grilled and placed in warm tortilla shells, then topped with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, diced avocado, pickled red onions, and jalapeños($ 13). I ordered a glass of New Harbor, Sauvignon Blanc($ 6). They came out very quickly and we hadn’t finished the hummus so they ended up keeping them warm for us in the kitchen. When we were ready for them, Vanessa told us that they ended up making them again because they had been sitting for a while and they wanted to make sure we had fresh food. That was so nice and thoughtful. I must say they were delicious. On their website it says: Mission Statement: To create and maintain a fresh and exciting restaurant which provides our customers with the highest quality in food and drink, outstanding service and atmosphere which encourages long-term, satisfied, repeat customers. To that I say, MISSIONACCOMPLISHED!

It’s ok. It has definitely gotten better since it opened and reformatted the menu. Service was very good. I think they use low quality ingredients and it is reflected in the taste. We’ve had burgers, veggie stuff and specials and although it was good, it does not stand out.

Has a lunch special cheeseburger and fries. Ordered medium well and was Cooke to perfection. Was flavorful, juicy and best burger on the drive I have had. It came with a generous portion of fries. Enjoyed my meal very much with great service by Darious.

I was watching the Women’s USA soccer game next door at another bar and when it ended I was starving. I wanted to check out Mind Your Manors for a while and didn’t get a chance till now. It was late Sunday night about an hour before they close. Only a few people were still hanging out at the bar. I decided to start with the black bean hummus. It was really good and I liked pita bread and veggie combo it came with. A friend ordered the smoked salmon bruschetta(salmon with capers, red onion, sundried tomato, basil then tossed in a lemon dressing. served on grilled toast points & topped with parmesan cheese) and it was so delicious, I will be ordering that next time for sure! I asked the bartender what burger to choose and without hesitation she said the MYM Burger. It’s a three meat custom blend burger with caramelized onions, brie cheese, and thick cut bacon and house prepared garlic mayo on a potato roll. I ate the whole burger!!! I think I impressed a few people at the bar by doing so as well LOL! It was so good! Cooked perfectly med/rare. I loved it! Can’t wait to go back and try more food and hang out when it’s not so late.

I mostly order take out when I eat here so I can’t really comment on the atmosphere, but I did go once while they had a guy singing live. It was fun. The buffalo chicken sandwich is amazing. The guys/gals at the bar are always smiling and happy to chat while I wait for my food, provided they’re not busy with other customers. They’ve got a nice selection of food here and I’ve heard the salads are exceptional, but I’ve yet to try one.

We’ve eaten here twice now and the food and service both times have been, well, as good as it gets.(Woohoo!) The first time I tried the Salmon Eggs Benedict, which I recommend, although now that I am on a diet(starting today), I ordered the Santa Fe Salad with a soft shell crab as my protein. While there was some cholesterol and calories in the fried soft shell crab, it was well worth it. Santa Fe is a chopped salad tossed with grilled corn, black beans, cilantro, California Haas avocado in a light yet consummately satisfying vanilla vinaigrette, topped with crunchy tortilla strips. My wife’s Short Rib Tacos were excellent also. They have an Eggs Benedict with Lump Crab sprinkled on top but I lacked the nerve to ask our neighboring table to share it with us. Note: There’s a Brunch menu on Sundays but the regular menu is available also. There’s no real negatives here. The table layout might cause some glare for the brunch/lunch guests seated facing the street but that’s fine since they’d lose too many seats making the middle tables perpendicular to the street. Better to buy a pair of sunglasses at the Dollar Tree. For $ 1. I highly recommend Mind Your Manors as a restaurant with something for everyone. Wilton Drive has a number of great restaurants and this is one of them.

I walked in to Mind Your Manors or MYM on a Saturday afternoon. I was pretty surprised that it wasn’t that busy, so naturally I got worried that I walked into a complete disaster. I sat down at the bar and the bartender slash my waiter asked my how tall I was. Side note: don’t do that to me. After we got over that I ordered the MYM burger with fries and a side of Brussels Sprouts. The burger was delicious. I ordered it medium well and leaned closer to well which I’m not mad at, but not really what I ordered, however, the flavor was amazing. The brie cheese and bacon were great added touches. The fries had an amazing flavor but a tad on the soggy side. That didn’t stop me from devouring them though. The Brussels Sprouts were the perfect side dish. Honestly, I would go back and just have them. A large bowl was only a few bucks. The service was great, I mean, other than the height stuff. The food was delicious. I’m not sure why more people weren’t there, but I’m glad in a way because I got to enjoy this wonderful place all to myself.
