Tasty food, somewhat pricey. But note: THISBUSINESSCLOSEDOPERATIONSYESTERDAY, DECEMBER15th, 2015. The owner says they are regrouping, and may open elsewhere or cater, but for now, everything is in storage and the business is closed.

I will not eat here. Extremely rude staff member turned me off completely. I was very excited to eat lunch here and was early to meet two friends. A few local friends gave me a couple great reviews of the seed of life and it had been on my to do list. An employee that was on her phone, and(I think) smoking outside, wearing a work apron, was rude when I asked where I should sit, saying«how am I supposed to know?» In a huff. I think she may have been a waitress, but maybe she was kitchen staff… So we happily ate next door at an absolutely charming and hospitable place called The Alchemist. I’ve been back to The Alchemist 3 times now. Lush, orchid greenhouse styled outside seating isn’t bad during the hot summer months, but I’m very much looking forward to going there during the cooler months.

The fruit juices were really good, but the food needs more refinement and better sauces and more quantity of sauce. They use the sauces sparingly so it ends up kinda bland. Also, the service is way too slow. We waited almost an hour on a Saturday morning. The ingredients were being cut up as they went along with their orders. They should have the stuff precut and in trays to speed things along.

I went to Seed of Life Bistro Saturday night. You might think you are at the wrong location, it is on a back street. I was lucky there was one parking space left in the parking lot. After parking I entered into an outside Courtyard. There are several businesses there, a Tea Café, a Dessert Place, a Tapas restaurant. I waited for service, no one came over to my table. I got up and the waitress said I should of let her know I was there. I now change my seat to be right at a front table. I now am waiting another 15 minutes with NOMENU, water or acknowledgement. After being there over a half hour my order was taken I get up again and go inside where the waitress is and I really wanted to just leave but It was now getting late to see about going elsewhere. When she brought me the appetizer, I asked her if this just happened to be a very off night, she said yes, an employee had walked out earlier in the evening that she now was the only person serving. There was only 2 tables occupied. The appetizer I ordered I thought was RAWVEGAN, Vietnamese Rolls, it came rolled in rice paper, which was NOT noted on the menu. It was very fresh but with NO avocado which it states on the menu as an ingredient. It was tasty and very nicely plated with a small amount of very tasty chili jelly, which also was not Raw. I also ordered the Italian Flatbread. The flavor of the onion bread was fabulous, the best. It was topped with spinach, sundried tomato’s, thinly sliced onion and chopped almonds. I am not sure why the menu said almond ricotta. The almonds were not in any way into a creamy consistency, it was finely chopped almonds sprinkled on top. I would have loved almond ricotta. The dish was very tasty. Off night, took a star away! This review was from months ago.

Have been considering a vegan lifestyle and stumbled upon SOL. Could easily be a convert if Christina cooked for me everday. We tried a lot of dishes to get a sampling. Good? Let’s put it this way. .. we ended up at brunch the next morning because it was ridiculously good. And brunch just as delicious. The real key for me was that I felt satiated — and that’s saying something — because I’m not just a foodie, but a foodie with a big appetite. Bön appetit!

Excellent food!!! Brought my friend and her 13 year old son here and they both raved about the flavor and quality of the food. Not 1 of the 3 of us is vegan or vegetarian and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience! Cristina is a talented genius! You won’t be disappointed!

I’m so glad The Seed of Life Bistro is no. 1 as it’s a fantastic raw restaurant in the oasis that is the Eucalyptus Gardens, Wilton Manors. I go so often and enjoy their fresh watermelon juice and fake tuna sandwich. Yum!

I really enjoyed this place but would like to see it step up just a notch on the food quality. Don’t get me wrong, it’s creative vegan food and it’s raw and tasty. I think what my issue was here is that I compared it to Green Wave which I feel is the standard in South Florida for vegetarian restaurants as far as food quality. I liked the tacos and the Vietnamese roll but found that the tacos need just a little more spice to elevate them into great. I loved the restaurant, it’s very clean and the surrounding area is very peaceful. The brownie bite(coconut/lemon) was very, very good. Try it out, I’m sure you will enjoy it.

Came here when I went to its neighbor restaurant and found it was closed. I typically don’t go for vegan or raw cusine, however my friend is not able to eat food that contains gluten so this was a good option. The ambiance has a repurposed/rustic décor to it with a open feel which I really liked. Two walls of the place are just windows so there’s a great view no matter where your seated. There’s also a long and short table at the right of the building, similar to a chabudai which is unique. On to the food! I had the mediterranean flatbed and my friend got the stuffed peppers. I wasn’t a fan of the peppers. Sadly they lacked any flavor. The flat bread however did not disappoint. They make the flat bread in house from figs and onions and it is amazing. Then they top it with a generous amount of arugula, olive slices, sliced peppers, and other goodies. That flatbed alone will have me going back.

Not cheap but worth every penny. I now buy the no grain bread so yummy! You have to order in advance but well worth it. Also the location is very calming.

I have been to Eucalyptus Gardens before and enjoyed all of the incubator businesses from The Alchemist to the Tai Chi classes; brilliant concept for a former garden center, but I never tried out Seed of Life Bistro until this past weekend. Quite frankly I never found vegan places that interesting but this one is clearly a special place with an inventive menu and absolutely delicious meals. I had the sunflower seed tuna sandwich which was so delicious that I can’t wait to have it again. My friend had the salad with fresh mango and raspberries in a bed of arugula with a citrus dressing. My only regret is that I didn’t try the desserts which sounded amazing I would say that although everything is listed on an ipad menu they would benefit with an ipad at the front window streaming pictures of their wonderful creations. There is a bit of a trepidation in raw restaurants and they would benefit by demystifying their offerings! I will be back to try more menu items.

Loved my meal there! Tons of flavor and hard to believe it’s raw and vegan! Super inspiring chef who obviously has a sincere passion for what she does.

Place is located in a small village like setting in Equaliptus garden, very modest with very nice outside seating. Food is really good, fresh, made while you wait. Prices are high for what you get. One dish is not enough to fill your stomach. I wouldn’t not consider it my permanent place to eat, but once in a while its perfect especially with outside seating in a pretty place. Valet 5 $ on weekends which kind of looks funny and out of place in this hipster place. There were 4 valet guys. parking is very limited, as it is in residential area, so you kind of have no choice but park with valet. I hope this whole place with 5 small venues will stay sensible and price wise reasonable and not overly hipstery, as this particular wibe is already in the air with a little«I am better than you» attitude. Remember who your customers are, not the ones who come to play here with their computers but the ones who actually have money to pay for their food.

Both my husband and I enjoyed the fare immensely and the service was nice. It was great to engage with the owner. I hope more people find this place. The Flatbread were amazing. My husband had the portabello sandwich and I had the zucchini ‘pasta’ Mediterranean. Both were very wonderful. We each also had a drink. His was something with the word«Sexy» in it and mine had the word«Delicious». Both burst with flavor. The meal ended with a chocolate cashew cheesecake and my hubby and I shared it. Again. Just wonderful. I understand the cost of high quality food, but I certainly cannot afford to eat at a place like this more than 1 or twice per year. I’ve been to other living food vegan restaurants and have spent both more and less. Would love to see the prices come down.

For vegans and the vegan-friendly, this little bistro offers a unique and delicious option for a healthy meal. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients and the exciting way the chef pairs flavors to make her dishes robust. Hashtag farm to table. The falafel wrap found a way to combine tastes of hummus, pumpkin-seed falafel and mango in a delicious way. Also try the kale salad and the stuffed sweet mini peppers for a vegan-take on well-known favorites. Great date spot for something different; tucked in a corner of Wilton Manors next to a garden strewn with outdoor lighting. The ambiance compliments the food. Dishes are cooked to order, so be prepared to wait. And despite the hippy/eclectic vibe, they do take credit cards.

I’ll start off by saying I’m not vegan or vegetarian, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food at Seed of Life Bistro. I had the Spicy Mexican Wrap, which is spicy walnut taco meat, avocado, cilantro, pico de gallo, cashew cheese, red peppers, wrap in a green collard leaf. All I can say is, wow! The flavors were incredible & the ingredients were very fresh. I really wasn’t expecting to enjoy my food as much as I did & I definitely didn’t miss having meat as part of my meal. I loved it so much I event made a call to them later to let them know. I’ve between back a second time & wasn’t disappointed.

I «was» a dyed in the heart 70 year old carnivore, brought up on steaks, chops, ribs and meats of whatever type including but not limited to those I hunted down and shot in the hills of Appalachia, so I sort of sneered to myself about setting foot in a vegan restaurant. However, I must now honestly say I was most pleasantly surprised, and have as a result undergone a certain change of attitude. Though a simple place without any distinctive décor, it’s spotlessly clean; also bright with a certain easy going relaxed charm about it. Though I personally don’t buy into any of this juicing or body cleansing crap, especially when most of the health food patrons strike me as being the most sickly looking, unhealthy appearing individuals I’ve ever seen. I do, however, like them, go for fresh, clean, natural unadulterated unaltered foods, and on that last point, Seed of Life Bistro delivers in spades. I went for their«Asian Noodles»($ 20) with kelp and zucchini noodles, carrots, red peppers, zucchini, shiitake mushrooms, green onions, sesame oil, lemon, celtic sea salt. On first bite, I could immediately tell that this was different. The flavors and freshness of the ingredients were so vividly pronounced there was no mistaking any of it as being of typical supermarket fare. Indeed, though done with sesame, it had a clean sparkling freshness about it. The carrots, peppers, zucchini, and onion that ruled. Anything else added was clearly only to enhance, not cover up. I also had a beet based drink, the name of which I can’t remember, but totally delicious in most refreshing way, not at all even remotely similar to any other beet juice concoctions I’ve had before and certainly not even close to the inferior taste of those bottled types found in the super markets or other so-called health shops. Then, and what also made it such a pleasant dining experience was the wait staff. They were friendly and casual with a certain demeanor that immediately put you at ease and relaxed. So, in short, I find myself doing a complete about face, a 180 degree turn around with a complete change in attitude concerning health dining and vegan in generally. You might say that my visit to Seed of Life Bistro turned out to be an enlightening revelation, an awakening, a kind of mental epiphany. I should point out that my five stars or any of my star ratings are based upon what a business is, stands for or is intended to be. In this case a health food restaurant.

Alright… 500 hundred reasons I can think about eating here. I want to list them all, Unfortunately I’m leaving town. I will surely miss this place as they make a rise to the top of the list of definite«must do» vegan cafés in south Florida over the next year. Two words that best describe this place… Living foods…

Excellent vegan restaurant. Nestled in a very quaint part of Wilton Manors with nice simple décor, but comfortable, and offering great natural foods. I tried the Fresh Tacos(please see picture) and they were super fresh and tasty. The mix of spices is great, and it includes a little bit of hot spice(jalapeño and cayenne pepper), but not too much. I also had one of the many juice options: Apple Twinkle, made with apples, ginger and lime juice — it was fantastic. The owner is also the chef, and she has developed a very nice and creative menu. She takes care of you personally and makes you feel welcome. It has an indoor and outdoor seating area.
