This place is an absolute dive. I’m not one to just complain about a dive bar because they can be fun an enjoyable but not this place. They overcharge for their drinks and under pour on them. They are not ADA complient so if your in a wheel chair this isn’t the place for you to go. I refuse to ever go back to this place.

So today I went in here for the first time Ever. What a terrible decision. I just moved in down the street so I thought I’d check it out. My friend and I ordered drinks from the nice older bartender. We started to play Photo Hunt on the computer game screen. I tried to swipe my card to continue play, but it said it only accepted cash. My friend and I only had cards, so we asked people for a dollar. It’s not the classiest move, but it was worth a shot. When I went to pee, I found myself surrounded by two men who accused me of being a hustler and shouting that I was just looking for money. I replied, they have my credit card, so what are you talking about? I was then run off the property by the crazy, disgusting owner. I just moved here from NY and will never step foot in this establishment again. I will tell as many people as possible to avoid this dive. Shame on you. You’re despicable business owners.

I absolutely love this dive bar! Its off the drive of Wilton but completely worth stopping into on the way out. I love spending my usual mights bar hopping down the drive then stopping in for my last nightcap here. I had heard about the Corner Pub for years and never thought to give it a shot. I had a weird preconceived notion about it since its next to the seediest bar in Wilton– Johnnys. It is NOTHING like Johnnys. Its a sorta well-lit bar that allows smoking and has two pool tables. The bartender is a sweetheart and always remembers my boyfriend and I. We usually shoot a few rounds of pool, order a couple rounds of beers and time seems to just stop while we’re here. The jukebox is available for you to play pretty much anything your heart desires.

This place is like home. It’s small and the aren’t a lot of frills, but it is comfortable, inexpensive, and friendly. The bartenders are welcoming and will remember you when you come back. The owners are charitable and host many events to give back to the community — and encourage the patrons to get involved which I think is great. They allow you to order food and have it delivered from next door, but don’t be surprised if the owner brings you a plate of homemade cookies. They build community and treat you like family. Go with some friends; meet some new ones. Talk to the people sitting next to you, play a game of pool, play some music on the jukebox, and don’t be surprised if someone sings along with you.

I always feel there is no better feeling than having a local watering hole that helps when it comes to grabbing a quick drink and being close to home. I often frequent the Corner Pub and felt it was time to let the Unilocalers know how much good this establishment does for the community. Anthony and Shannon are two of the most giving owners who have and continue to do good for the community and not only the gay community. Their efforts in raising money for the for various charities this Christmas went above and beyond while also giving back to the patrons in appreciation for their donations For some this bar may not have all the bells and whistles but for those who are regulars continue to come back because of the service, the employees and the fact that we can appreciate a place that welcomes you and also gives back to the community. Thank you very much Corner Pub.

I updated this review — 5 stars because every time I come in here I meet the most friendly people. Drinks are excellent and reasonably priced.

Whenever I visit my best friend in Wilton Manors we usually end out nights out having a few last drinks at The Corner Pub. The drinks are good and strong and the clientele is friendly. My other friend sucked a dick high on Tina right there at the bar, but I think that was atypical and probably not encouraged.

Don’t waste your time here… the staff is nice enough, but that’s really where it ends. It’s a total dive bar, and not in the fun way… however, if you’re looking to feel better about yourself, based on your surroundings… stop in.

Corner Pub, also known as Shannon and Anthony’s Corner Pub, is a neighborhood(Wilton Manor) gay bar tucked in at the end of an elderly, and it really does show its age, little strip mall on the west side of Andrews Avenue. Corner Pub is a rather generic type of gay neighborhood bar with nothing particularly special about it. It has the usual pool table, juke box type music containing tunes, mostly older, left over from the disco era, patrons who are mostly late thirty something on up, all very friendly mostly engaging in typical bar room conversation. They have pool(as in pool table) and dart meets, leagues, tourneys or whatever they may call them, provide a home bar site for the Stonewall Knights, which is a gay motorcycle club for gay aficionados of motorcycle riding, with all of the members who actual do have and ride motorcycles for their own fun as well as in neighborhood gay day parades and other social events. Being a neighborhood bar, the bar in Corner Pub serves as a social center for community talk, discussion and is active in things related to the gay community. Though well lighted inside, most everything is dark or painted black including the suspended ceiling tiles so typical to strip mall locations. There is a large rectangular bar with extremely friendly, competent bartenders serving very reasonably priced drinks. The pool table, juke box, a rack of local flyers and magazines plus a clutter of old boxes(I don’t know why) are located near the rear. There is plenty of parking in the strip mall lot for the size of the crowd Corner Pub attracts, and with Island City Pizza next door, there is no problem in having your food order delivered to you right at the bar. It’s clear that Corner Pub is meant to be and is a general gay neighborhood meeting bar, not into the frolic of or meant to be a gay tourist or wild life fun attractive place. It serves its community and the community in turn patronizes it. I wouldn’t recommend it for tourists, those out seeking fun times, dancing, entertainment or out on the town nights because you’ll probably get bored to tears, but if you just want a good drink, play a game of pool or catch up on local events, Corner Pub is an OK place to do that.

Only been in here during a weekday while driving by. 2 nice pool tables, a couple video games, and a jukebox. Big circular bar so lots of places for tired/retired men. Only locals here, they hang out and bring in lunch from the outside and commune. Yawn Can’t beat all day happy hour during the week. 2.25 corona bottle. They definitely cater to the fixed income crowd. Not sure about the tacky storage shelf of junk toward the back. Sort of like my dad opened a bar in his den.
