So, the most recent review is from a «Wiltonite» who simply reposted the same review from 3 months ago? Uh oh, sounds like this place is in trouble. Found the food to be «OK», yet the service disinterested. A bad combo.

The charming Harkan Basaran, proprietor of Cielo, offers food that is a «cut above». The octopus and Tuscan salad were a refreshing change of pace. The Prix Fixe lunches are a real bargain. Meals there are a true dining experience. Gary and Veronica Foster, Wilton, CT

Good food and prices. Nice price fix lunch. I liked the beef carpaccio and the bolognese sauce.

I’m a tough grader, and the food was good, so the overall takeaway would be to try this place if you’re on the fence. That said, I think there are a few kinks that need to be worked out here. We dined on a Tuesday night and there were about 9 tables out of probably 15 total. The odd part was that I think they were overstaffed. We were seated by the manager; had 3 different servers and 2 different bussers, and their service wasn’t in sync. They were all very friendly etc. but I’d rather have great service from one waiter than feel passed around. For example, no one brought us menus until we asked for them; and one waiter asked us if we wanted dessert upon clearing our appetizer plates, seeming surprised when we said we ordered dinner. Again none of this is horrible or anything, but it does prevent a 4-star review. The food overall was good. Risotto was very tasty and presented nicely on the plate, if not slightly out of season for fall. The involtini di pollo was cooked very nicely and the sauce was well-seasoned. I wasn’t a fan of the mashed potatoes as they were a bit«instant» tasting. My wife’s veal Milanese was super tender and thin– would definitely recommend the dish. Caramel custard dessert was excellent. Total cost was about $ 110 without wine, so this place is expensive for CT. But we did have risotto for an appetizer, and I do believe the veal was a quality cut of meat. So I wasn’t too surprised by the cost. Also, I would note that while the interior looks great, the artwork is a bit underwhelming. It felt a bit like stock photography of clouds, like you’d see in a doctor’s office. Could be the plastic casing that the images are in. You’ll see what I mean. Overall, I would go again specifically to try the pasta dishes.

Really great Prix Fixe lunch menu. $ 20 for appetizer, entrée and dessert… all beautifully prepared and presented. My wife and I returned a week later for dinner. Again a 100% delightful experience… food, ambiance and staff. The wine list has a good range of choices and is very reasonably priced. Last but not least, Hakan also allows BYOB with zero corkage fee!!! Welcome to Wilton.

Amazing food, service and ambiance. The salmon was very tasty and definitely get the tiramisu! We had a large group and Hakan and his team were very accommodating. A must try and our new local favorite!

Just stopped in for lunch and the food and staff were fantastic. We went with our 11 month old abc they were very accommodating(always a plus in my book). Can’t go wrong with the veal chops and the pappardelle bolognese!

Amazing! Went for lunch one day with my wife and food was excellent. 3 course pre fixed and so reasonable($ 20) for what you get with a great atmosphere and personable staff.

We had Sunday pre-fixe lunch & food presentation, quantity & quality were excellent. Love the décor. Met both the Manager & Owner who were very personable & knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Just returned from Italy and we were so looking forward to dinner at this«authentic» newcomer. If we could give this place 0 stars, we would. The greeting from the owner was rude. We ordered mussels to start. They were dry — no broth to speak of — and tasted fishy. We sent them back. The owner came out and was facetiously claiming that they must have been«too fresh» when it was quite the opposite. Bucatini was our next course. The dish came out cold. We had to request that it be reheated. Again, the owner came to the table — with the dishes in hand — and said they were«piping hot» in a very mocking tone. The pasta was still not warm and the dishes were not hot. It’s a shame that this kind of service now occurs in a spot where the predecessor, Luca, treated his customers like true guests and served the best authentic Italian cuisine in the area. If things don’t change here, I would be very surprised if the place survives.

Tried this new place in town because the word was out that it was amazing. Not disappointed! Sat outside and from the initial greeting to the final goodbye the service was friendly, well appointed, non-intrusive and extremely knowledgeable about the entire wine list and menu. We had the Cielo salad and the prosciutto wrapped goat cheese on the side was phenomenal. The tuna tartar was one of the best we have had… light, but full of flavor and the toasts were perfectly done. A special avocado filled with crabmeat was another very well done appetizer. That all washed down with a solid Sangiovese di Romagna makes us want to come back for more.

Sloppy service — mediocre food and rude management. Will not return. It’s too bad that Luca’s was replaced by such a sub-standard operation.

Well– here goes. Very uneven. Had the prix fixe lunch which I thought was good value for price($ 20). Service was uneven and odd. Sort of like the servers were told they had to be nice but were just going through the motions. Food was good, uneven also. Not great! I think they need time to work out kinks. Interesting menu. The salmon dish I ordered had roasted potatoes listed as side but came with cold grainy mashed instead. When I pointed out to waiter, it was replaced immediately but why did I get the wrong item to begin with? Restaurant was empty-so no real excuse for confusion. Salmon was super fresh! Has potential. Will definitely give another try.
