Not such a good experience, especially if you’re looking for clothing for guys. Selection is pretty skimpy. Don’t expect much in the way of service either. You’ll be unlikely to find help, and if you do they seem none too thrilled to be on the scene.

This is my favorite TJ Maxx location ever. I even like it better than the ones in NYC. It’s clean, organized, not crowded, well-​stocked. I have a little trouble finding things in my size, but that’s pretty much a problem wherever I go. The dressing rooms here are clean, the folks working here are friendly, and I didn’t have any trouble at all when I went in to return something the other day. It still amazes me the amount of money I save shopping here!

TJ Maxx has a secret. In its Home Décor section, you will perennially find Indian and/​or Moroccan-​style lamps of various colors usually with a mosaic of glass shards and an inside holder for a tea light. It is comforting to find something so funky in the section that stands out for its mix of utterly tacky things and cool/​weird finds like novelty teapots, Le Creuset products, scarlet armchairs.
