Toy Chest

Been here a few more times out of necessity. My kids go to a LOT of birthday parties. The rude employee is gone and a nicer lady has been there the past few times. She is friendly, always offers to gift wrap my purchases and always asks if I need help finding anything. Thank you for stepping it up!

We really like our neighborhood toy store, personnel are always friendly and we never go away disappointed. Very good selection for such a small place. We particularly like the toddler, Thomas the Train and puzzle offerings. Will go there again tonight to get yet another birthday gift!

I was really torn about whether to give this place 4 stars or 5, but decided to round up due to their truly awesome customer service.
This is exactly what the name makes it sound like– a fun little toy shop bursting at the seams with treasures. While it is small, and for that reason the selection is somewhat mediocre, I love how when you turn the corner you are never really sure what you will get. They have a fun and unique selection of board games, books (Star Wars Origami for the win!), stuffed animals, and, of course, toys.
What bumped this place into 5 star territory for me is the unique nature of a lot of their items and the fact that they really went out of their way for me. They have a huge selection of Beanie Boos and I fell in love with the pink octopus but they didn’t have it in the size I wanted. They actually called another toy store in the area and asked them if they could drop one in that size off so I could pick it up the next day. That was awesome.
I recommend you drop by here so the kid in you can have some fun picking out some unexpected treasures.
