I love this bar. Beautiful girls working here and Shayla is drop dead gorgeous and a sweetheart. They plan to do comedy night on Saturday so I am looking forward to that. They have pool tables and strong drinks. Karaōke night is lots of fun. Whenever I visit my folks I always hang out here.

I just opened up a taxi service in Menifee and we serve the city of Winchester. I went in to introduce my self to the staff to let them know I was available If any customers needed rides. Nicky was the bartender. she was so sweet and the bar «as dive as some of these reviews call it» .was more home town feel… the customers did all know each other but I feel that’s what makes a bar your home away from home… thought it had a lodge feel to it and I will be back on my day off to chill with the locals with a
Budweiser in my hand… oh and I ordered the wings… OMG!.. they were awesome possum!

Best Bar in the area. Ive known the owner and one of the bar tenders sense high school. The place is what it is. (A BAR) and a decent one at that. Great drinks, cool patrons and a great place to just chill out and relax.

Beyond dive. Had to steal lights from one pool table to light another. Served everything from shots to beers in plastic. Floor was filthy. Barmaid advised us not to eat there… we took her advice.

typical nasty dive bar. place is a shit hole but there is no where else to drink in Winchester.

The worst service of any bar I’ve ever been to. I’ve never had to work so hard to get a drink. Nothing like waiting 20 minutes for a drink with 5 customers in the bar.

Came on a Tuesday, got 4 good tacos, and 2 beers for under$ 10!!! Great music on the jukebox. Everyone was really nice, and the owner was a hell of a guy!

I come in with my family. We ALL order. We ALL order things that contain bacon, it’s noteworthy that most of the menu items contain bacon. She waits to the end to tell us that there’s no bacon. So we have to reorder.
Then my diabetic father orders a diet coke. He is served regular. We tell her and she pours another, it’s still not diet. Her reply? «Well that’s the only DIET we have, so I don’t really k ow what to tell you»
She is even rotten to the actual bar patrons. Bad service and we haven’t even received our food yet. There’s another group of people ordering food and she’s terrible to them too.
UGH!
Don’t come here of you’re looking for even ½ assed service.

Can’t beat the drink prices. Food was disgusting. I’m not picky but it was barely edible. I got the french dip and the meat came out cold and hard, with no aus jus. When I asked for some, I got a watery side of beef bouillon that didn’t do much for the meal but at least it softened that nasty hard roast beef. I’ll never eat there again. I came on a busy night and it was very difficult to get a drink. I realize this isn’t a high volume venue so the bartenders aren’t really use to so many people there but they really need to learn to take drink orders from more than one person at a time. With 4 bartenders working it shouldn’t have taken 20 minutes to get a drink. Other than wait times and nasty food, it’s an okay place to slum it once in awhile. A low-​class hick bar in all it’s glory!

My friend suggested the Bum Steer after a we’d been to a few bars where the average age of the clientèle was about 70. She’d been there in the past, and told me that there would be a lot of young women there and that the bar tenders wore itty bitty shorts, etc. So, being a man, of course I wanted to check it out. Well, when we got there we doubled the number of customers. The bartender wasn’t wearing itty bitty shorts, but she was young and attractive. And the drinks were great. After a couple hours, it started getting busy. Apparently, the crowd consisted almost entirely of regulars and everyone knew each other by name for the most part. Still, as bars in this area go, this was was pretty good.
I can’t vouch for the restaurant at all… I don’t even know if it’s still open.
