Monro Muffler Brake & Service

Biggest rip off in Winchester, and employees that must not know what they are doing, started out for a new muffler, no problem $ 250.00, I said ok, so off work they go, they come back to me after having issues with s bolt not coming loose, they tell me I will have to spend $ 200.00 more if they cannot get it loose, well guess what had to buy the other part, they put it all on then realize they need more parts, they call around not one auto parts store has what is needed, so they go to Lowes, when they finally said I was done I paid and left, car was fine until I pressed the gas pedal, I had an exhaust leak, went back they fixed, well going down my driveway the muffler is banging under the car, went back, they told me I needed shocks, they replaced and car is still the same, I have not gone back and will not go back, this is the biggest rip off… I guess I will need to go to another mechanic and pay them to fix what they screwed up, I never felt any issues with my shocks, but hey they got me…

Very disappointed in the service, in fact, I was very angry when I left. took my car in for a simple alignment, called in the morning and the manager told me to bring it in, I did. I waited for over two hours and after all this time, he comes back and says his alignment machine is broken and they can’t do it. No apologies, nothing… he even had the guts to say «there is no charge». I asked him how long he know the machine was down and he said we just found out. While I was waiting all that time, every single car owner who went to pay for services, mostly oil changes, was put through the «up sell» ringer, this is wrong and that is wrong, every single person! They did the same thing to my daughter a few months ago. Needless to say, I will not go back… I don’t know if this was a fluke or an off day but bot it left a sour taste in my mouth. Thanks for wasting my precious time on a weekend Monroe!
