Nail Tech

Went in on a Saturday; they squeezed me in at the last minute because I didn’t realize they were closing. They were super nice! Price was decent, she did a lovely job, and I would definitely go back! Only downside for me is they only accept cash.

Made an appt for 3pm, but she couldn’t take me til 3:15ish b/​c she was working with another client. Understandable as she was working alone on Labor Day. She more than made up for it with her quality of work. Got mani pedi and she did a great job. Another woman came in during my mani and she didn’t rush to finish mine at all. Also did a wonderful job on my eyebrow wax. Super friendly and nice as well. I recommend! Didn’t get her name but she is the owner.

Been here once for a simple manicure.
Reasonably priced and easily accessed from Winchester Center station. They close at 7pm and I called and they accepted my 6:45pm appointment due to my train schedule.
GiGi did my nails and she paid attention to details. All staffs were nice and asked me to take my time and let me nails dry completely, although it was way passed their normal closing hours.
Will come back!

I have lived in Cambridge for over 5 years and have yet to find a nail salon that I could call «my own». I went to Nail Tech on a recommendation from a friend, with no expectations… at the very least I would get the mani/​pedi that I was overdue for and the search would continue.
I had TiTi work on my hands and feet. Right away, she gave me a magazine to get me settled in while she worked on my feet. I still have a couple of areas that could stand to have had a little extra attention. BUT that being said, she really exfoliated my feet, and really rubbed them… to the point where I was wondering if this was their version of a spa pedicure… oh no… this was just her great service.
Then the nails… I got the shellac. They have a great selection of colors-​both for regular polish and for shellac. I have had several bad experiences with people doing my shellac… so I was a littler nervous… wondering if this would be the same… She knew what she was doing! And again, she spent a lot of time to make sure she trimmed my cuticles and that she did a perfect job.
To boot, while she did my nails, she spent time telling me about their new location in Inman Square, and all the discounts and promotions going on at both locations.
My ONLY complaint… the water for the pedicure and to soak my fingers wasn’t as hot as I would like.
I walked out with beautiful hands and feet. I will definitely be back. And I love the fact that there is another location in Inman Square, just in case.

The ladies working were very nice and friendly. They went out of their way to paint a mistletoe design that they had never done before, when they just as easily could have said «no, we don’t do that». I thought that was super sweet. All of their polishes are OPI which shows they want the best for their customers. Much appreciated! I would come back when I’m in Winchester again :)
*Only complaint* When we came for pedicures, it just so happened that their hot water stopped working during the time we were there :/​So yes, it was a spa pedicure with cold water. Although, they did try to microwave water to pour in, but it was still pretty cold.
