Chronically out of everything. Always! Today’s visit, no avocado, no milk-alternative options, nearly empty bagel rack. What gives?

Food not bad service awful every time. A staff that is very indifferent and could give a #^%# about customer service. I was able to get around this lately via the rapid app unfortunately that failed me this trip. But not to worry the staff lived up to their reputation! However word of caution when using the rapid pickup app… check your order 9 out 10 it’s not correct. Will not be visiting this location again.

I had placed an online order for rapid pick up. Well, when my husband got there to pick up the order, we come to find out it’s not ready. He asks a man where he can find his order and the man says they didn’t have the pasta we ordered so he can refund our card or we can buy something else. Well, at first I must admit I was a little angry they didn’t notify me by phone or email when they initially saw the order. I could have avoided the pressure of trying to find a new meal while my husband held up the line. But, the man was very nice and polite about fixing our issue. We ordered and he added extra soup and chips to make up for the fact that we had such issues ordering. He even snuck a second extra bag of chips to make up for the fact they didn’t have any bread, which we both found odd. But overall, his customer service made this trip so worth it, I will certainly come back. I hope this man gets a raise because he deserves it! You’ve kept your regular frequent customers, Panera Bread, all thanks to him!

Yummy food!!! Love the organic meat and cheese. I love the online app. I can order my food the way I want and then pick up and eat in store or take it for go. The only issue is they would forget on item or two but the issue is always corrected. My kids always ask to come here

The service here has recently improved. The option to order your food online beforehand and picking it up when you arrive has also made the experience much easier. The food is still good as always.

This Panera is the worst location ever. The restaurant is very dirty. Ketchup smeared all over the wall in my booth, the entire floor was disgustingly sticky(even though they had«wet floor» signs like they had just mopped). They never get the order right, ever. It’s so sad because you pay so much for the food that has potential to be good, and then it’s just not good and you wished you went somewhere else.

I usually stop at the Panera in Hagerstown but stopped at the one in Winchester instead. I like panera and usually get soup and salad. This time, I just got the soup and my husband got the flatbread, a new menu item. The soup was unusually salty. The flatbread, which I posted a pic of, consisted of a slice of tomato, a few leaves of lettuce and arugula, and a small amount of pesto and cheese. It was mostly bread; really chintzy for 5 bucks. Certainly won’t be stopping at this panera location, much less ordering that item again. The only reason I didn’t give this one star is because when we noticed a mistake on our receipt, the manager quickly dealt with it.

Once you’ve been to one Panera Bread ya been to them ALL ya know! I come here ALOT and the food & service are always good! I have to say the layout of this Panera can make it feel congested at times and that can be annoying! Other than that it’s great!

I haven’t been to Panera in years but it is one of my favorite chains. They always have really decent soups, salads and breads and the atmosphere is great for any town that might not otherwise have any cool coffee shops or quirky places to socialize. The food is pretty consistent per brand stability standards. However, the service here is particularly poor. At the registers, we ordered two oatmeals. They gave us one(and we didn’t find out about it until our uni-oatmeal order was up) which then set into motion a chain of events involving us waiting in(now a very long) line again. First thing in the morning, this is definitely most unbueno… Another thing I noticed, was a lack of attentiveness towards giving out silverware. If people ordered something involving viscous food, they’ll probably be needing spoons… so give them spoons. It’s just common sense. Because then, I look like an idiot stumbling around the dining area looking for the silverware station(I haven’t been here in years, remember… so I don’t know this stuff) until finally asking the clueless kid behind the counter who then tells me «Oh – I have the spoons.» You have no idea what I just went through, kid! When it comes to service(and chains), it’s the little things… Or lack thereof.

I’d give it zero stars if I could. I love Panera Bread but this location is bad. Every time we have gone to this location no matter what time of the day the pastry racks are ALWAYS just about empty. The service is ok, employees are always talking amongst themselves or horsing around. The last time we went our food was first over cooked and burnt looking but freezing on the inside, the other order looked fine but was still frozen on the inside. They replaced the first order but only to get cold dry pasta again. We were told that there was a microwave located in the front. I thought it was rude… If we wanted to cater to our own food I could just do that at home. We’ve decided never to return to this particular location. Hagerstown Panera always has incredible service and food comes out right.

Service was horrible. Forgot about part of our order TWICE!!! No one seemed to care. Treated us like we were an inconvenience to them for wanting what we paid for!

The food is good but there are some drawbacks. Rare to see an employee cleaning tables. Getting to the soft drinks, ice and iced teas can be a struggle due to the very cramped conditions. And, the need to march your tray, leftover food, utensils, glasses etc. and sort them in a sometimes disgusting pile is a real downer. Can’t this restaurant chain afford to pay a few minimum wage folks to clear tables?

The hubs and I visited here for lunch. I ordered the Turkey BLT and the Strawberry & Poppyseed Salad. Both were good, however, the portion sizes are small and I was still hungry when we were done. The salad dressing was also too sweet. For dessert we ordered the Pecan Bun, which was good. They have a microwave that you can use to warm up the buns in. The hubs ordered the chicken chipotle panini and he was quite disappointed. There was a lot of orange cheese on it and it was not appetizing. We wish that there was a description on the menu board describing all the different sandwiches(only a couple of the menu items had descriptions). Food 3.5÷5 Atmosphere 4⁄5 Service 4⁄5 Price 2⁄5(Too expensive for what you get)

Comfortable seating, attractive décor, friendly and efficient service. The food is delicious. The only problem was that all of the empty tables were dirty, a pet peeve of mine.
