We were walking the pedestrian mall looking for a place for salads. We noticed that Patsy’s patio seating was full. All of the restaurants on the mall have a patio. The Greek and Waldorf-style salads were excellent, especially the dressings. We will be back. Best to come after 1:30PM during the week.

I stopped by for lunch with my girlfriend on a weekday. They serve draft beer but I was disappointed to learn that they only have a few domestics(Bud Light, Miller Lite, etc.). They are missing a major opportunity here by not serving craft beers– customers in Old Town Winchester don’t want Bud Light. When our pizza came out, the crust was already getting cold. It must have been sitting in the kitchen for a while before being brought to us. There was only one other customer in the restaurant, yet service was rather slow. My girlfriend agreed that the pizza wasn’t hot enough, so we asked the waitress to warm it up in the oven. The waitress was polite about reheating the pizza but the food and drink were very disappointing. There are far better places to go in Old Town that serve craft beers and piping hot food.

I have visited Patsy’s pizza before and it wasn’t bad food — it just wasn’t really all that good either. Patsy’s pizza is unique(they choose a pie crust — which is refreshing). The staff has always been kind and the restaurant clean. I enjoyed Patsy’s with a few friends who LOVE this place. They order their usual(Strawberry Walnut Salad and Sausage & Cheese Pizza) which is tasty — but each time I have gone I’ve tried something new and haven’t been excited by anything yet. I will probably try again until I find something exciting because I like the location and staff.

I love eating at Patsy’s Pastry Pizza! They offer delicious food with friendly service. It’s very relaxing atmosphere and pleasant. The dessert pizzas are good, as are the salads, but my favorite is the vegetable pizza.

I heard a lot about this place so I finally decided to try it and I must say I was really disappointed. The pizza says it comes cold or hot– by hot I thought it meant it would be heated in an oven… Not microwaved and floppy. It was mediocre at best. The only thing that was good was the salad which needed no cooking so, how bad could you mess that up? On top of that the credit card machine wasn’t working and I had to go to an ATM because I didn’t have any cash. All together kind of an annoying experience. I highly doubt I’ll try it again… If I go again I’ll only get a salad.

I don’t live in Winchester anymore, but when I am in town I make it A POINT to visit Patsy’s. My friends and I always get the Strawberry Walnut Salad, Sausage & Cheese slice, and Fancy Fruit. The family that owns it is very sweet and they are great supporters of Shenandoah University.(My Alma Mater.)

When the pizzas arrived, it was a bit of a shock to see that they were cold. They’re more like salads on a crisp, fluffy bread. Quite tasty, just not what was expected. Thank God someone is trying something different, though. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something new, but if want something hot, discuss that desire with the waiter first. They do have some hot options(the kid’s meal cheese pizza was hot).

My friend and I decided to check out this place for lunch. The name was peculiar, wth is a pastry pizza? The lunch special price seemed decent, so we figured that we would give it a try. The drinks come in a heavy goblet. It’s pretty awkward. I ordered potato soup, which was very lackluster with hard potatoes. It was served in a tall mug with a giant spoon, making it awkward to eat. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza. That was kind of odd. The crust isn’t very«pastry» like, nor it is like a traditional pizza. It kind of sucked, no, it sucked. I also ordered a fruit dessert pizza slice. This stuff isn’t pizza it is just slices of stuff from circles. The fruit dessert pizza slice was tasty in a hostess strawberry shortcake shell with canned fruit, cool whip, and commercial strawberry filling kind or way. The service was very nice though, which makes me feel guilty for giving it this lackluster review. But, the review reflects the food and awkward serving sets.

No, it’s not what you’d really call«pizza.» Yes, it’s very good. I wanted to be adventurous and try some of their unique pizzas by the slice. I chose the chicken salad pizza and the taco pizza. The chicken salad tasted kind of like a sandwich with a fluffier bread. It was pretty good. I really really liked the taco pizza, it tasted very fresh and I wish I had gotten two slices of it instead. It reminded me of a Pampered Chef recipe my mom used to make called«Taco Ring». I like this place, decent prices, filling food and pretty darn unique!

This pizza is not pizza. Well, it’s not the kind of pizza you’re used to. Very homemade kind of feel to it. Kind of hard to describe. I’m not sure what they make the crust out of, but we guessed it was cornmeal. They do have a good deal which was 1 slice of pizza and a salad for I think $ 7 or $ 8. This combo is perfect for women because the salad is small, and the slice is small. I’m just sayin peoples… I don’t see any ravenous burly construction men ordering this combo anytime soon. I think just for the pizza it didn’t fit my tastes. I’ve def had better, but then again I’m a believer that there is no such thing as bad pizza.

I had been hearing about this place for so long. When I was finally able to make it during their serving hours, I was totally underwhelmed. The dining room décor is very fresh looking and pleasant and Patsy was doing a brisk business. So deceided to be daring and order the chicken salad pizza. My lunch companion ordered pepperoni. Well, mine tasted like Mrs. Kinsers that one buys in a tub at the grocery store on a Pillsbury biscuit that had been flattened out. The pepperoni was okay but nothing to brag about. For dessert we ordered a peanut butter chocolate pizza. It was pretty good. The overall experience though does not merit a return.

PERFECTLUNCHES! We’ve ventured here a number of times and have always had a fresh and delicious lunch. The salads are very fresh tasting. The specialty pastry pizza’s are incredible. Try the soups. The service is really good and attentive, plus your food arrives quickly. Also a good spot to take your kids to eat. A must is some of their dessert pastry pizzas!
