The Green Turtle’s employee, Robb Brill, thinks it’s fun to troll Black women’s facebook posts, tell them to shut the f÷*\ up, and call them«hoe“s. This is shameful, racist, and sexist behavior. Please don’t support venues that hire hateful people.

First let me say I was visiting the GT during a UFC fight so the place was PACKED. I was only there for a couple beers but the rest of the group did eat. For such a busy night the staff was very friendly and attentive. The orders were correct and the individual checks weren’t viewed as a problem for the large group. Many said the food was good; I will certainly comment when I return and grab something to eat.

Best grill/pub restaurant in winchester. High end décor, TVs at every booth, great service. Will be back, most certainly.

Greeted by friendly hostess. Wait of 30 minutes with no seating available at entrance. Noise level made it difficult to have a dinner conversation. Jessica was attentive to our needs and apologetic for the delayed delivery of libations and food orders. Food was average bar food.

Hopefully my experience was a fluke because I have high hopes for a new restaurant in Winchester, but I was less than impressed. I ordered the Fleet Street Chicken and it was insanely over peppered. Spice has never been an issue for me but this missed the mark, and I was only able to eat two bites. When the server was clearing the plates I told her and she said I should have told her earlier and she could have done something. Too bad that was the first we had seen her since she gave us our dinner. Everyone else at our table enjoyed their meals so perhaps just steer clear of the chicken.

Best Chili Nacho, best boneless wings, best crab dip. Great service! I really enjoyed the fact that you could watch sports in each booth.

A coworker of mine told me about a free meal deal green turtle offered so I called to order mine. The first time I called I got the voicemail. The second time I called I was put on hold for 5 minutes and eventually hung up on. The THIRD time I called the girl told me she couldn’t give me the free lunch as it was offered to dine in only guests. My co worker ordered it take out. I wouldn’t waste your time at this place, they don’t even know what they’re doing there. Would have been a repeat customer since I work across the street, but not after today!

This is my second visit. First time, great sever, very attentive although hostesses were not welcoming and seemed put out that we were there?!? My chicken steak sandwich was on point… Md crab soup was weak at best. Also my son ordered a steak and cheese no onions and it was full of them! Having eaten at the turtle in Hagerstown many times I came back today at lunch to try again. Good server again, hostesses were better but still fairly self involved… Note there were different people today… So some hostess training maybe needed. Ok, so today the crab soup was perfect! Perhaps busy times are still in need of kitchen help? I also had chicken strips … They were good… It’s hard to screw up strips! Much happier today.

Visited The Greene Turtle in Winchester for the first time today and it won’t be my last! I’ve gotta admit, I wasn’t in the best mood walking in. I was hungry and freezing which means I was pretty grumpy and just kinda had my mind set on «this place is new, it’s gonna suck». The truth, it was great! Our server, Nolan, was super friendly; she was talkative and attentive but not annoying at all. The food came out quickly and was just as we had ordered it. They have a lot of different menu items and drinks that no other place in Winchester has to offer and the prices are great compared to other«sports bar» style restaurants. We will definitely be back!

I came to the Green Turtle for the first time tonight with my wife and another couple. It was very busy with a 25 minute wait although I noticed tables sitting empty while we waited. We started with a few sodas and the ladies ordered two Patron margaritas. They both said they could barely taste the tequila in their drinks, and at $ 10 each that’s dissapointing. We started with Fried Pickle Spears and Boneless Wings(mild). After the waitress dropped off the apps we had to wait another 5 minutes until we saw her again to ask for plates. While waiting my wife and I unwrapped the utensils from the napkins to find that they had old food still caked on them for the previous customers. How an employee could miss that while wrapping them up is beyond me. Everyone agreed that the Fried Pickle Spears were good. Unfortunately we again had to wait to see the waitress to ask for Blue Cheese for the wings. Since the wings were barely warm when they fist arrived, they were now just about room temperature when we were finally able to eat them. For the main dish I ordered the Chesapeake Burger. It’s a burger seasoned with Old Bay and topped with their signature crab dip and bacon. I gave half to my brother to try and we both agree that it tastes like a burger with tuna fish on it. It is not a delicious combination in my opinion. My brother ordered Kickin Bourbon Burger. I tried some of it and thought it was pretty good, the bourbon sauce had a lot of flavor. I would order it upon another visit. His wife ordered Thai Pork Tacos. She said the Thai flavor was okay, but the pork was a bit rubbery. She only ate one of the three and said she would not order it again. My wife ordered the Hand Breaded Tenders Basket. She said they were nothing special and only ate one of them. She said they are not something she would order again. So to sum it up we had to keep waiting to see the waitress to get simple things like plates, utensils that didn’t have old food caked on them and dips that should be served with the food. The margaritas have maybe ½ a shot of tequila and the food overall was barely mediocre. It was not a meal worth the $ 100 we spent on it. Maybe in six months we will try again after this new business get all their kinks worked out.

This place is like fast food on crack. If you are looking to compare to Long Horn, Outback, or any other places to go for dinner you need to rethink things. It’s more less a fancy sports bar, with average food, more fast food items. The legend highly recommended crap dip, is not that great.
