Hannaford Food and Drug

I recently moved to the Windham area and started to become familiar with the grocery store immediately, it’s the first thing you need when you move… Groceries. This store has something that I have not seen any of the other local locations. Hannaford to-​go. You can shop ahead of time online and pick up all your groceries at a curbside waiting area. This is brilliant! I can’t wait to try it.
When I entered the store the set up was standard… produce/​bakery/​butcher on one side. The opposite side, dairy and freezer foods… Nothing special there.
As I approached the service counter to check out, I have never encountered friendlier grocery store employees. They seemed genuinely concerned about my visit, if I had found everything, and how my night was going. They made small talk, but not to the point where it was annoying. I was super impressed!
I left this Hannaford feeling like excited to make this my new hometown grocery store. Moving from Portland I was used to a location where the employees look like they haven’t slept in days or are just generally sullen. Maybe it’s the fresh Sebago Lake air, but something put these folks in a good mood and I love it!

Love this place! It always is extremely clean. Produce & bakery are very fresh & always a wide selection.
