I was excited to try this place as the reviews were great. So disappointed. Everyone in my group said they would not come back again. First, we were barely greeted when we got there. The server couldn’t tell us what was on draft so we all had to stand up & walk to the bar to find out for ourselves. The wings were good but they are battered which is why they come out so crispy. The hottest buffalo was not very hot. The burritos were boring. The rice rolled into the burrito was plain white rice. I ordered the pulled pork & the bun was clearly not fresh. Possibly frozen & reheated as it was like sawdust. The pork itself had too much of what tasted like cinnamon. When I mentioned how terrible my meal was the server didn’t know what to do. So $ 95 later, a big disappointment.

Really??? 4 and 5 star reviews!!! Seriously!!! Picture a dive bar, with crappy country music blaring and a bunch of 8 – 12 year old kids running around hollering like they just sat on a thumbtack. Didn’t eat there. Didn’t want to. I will take the word of previous reviewers that the wings are good. There’s one star. Beer selection was halfway decent. Hence, the second star. Drank our beers and high-tailed it out of there.

This is one of our favorite places to eat in Windham not only for the food but for the comfortable, relaxing & inviting atmosphere. The HUGE wings are the best we’ve ever had, served with a side of carrots, celery and homemade blue cheese dip. Our favorite wings are the Garlic, Hot Honey and the Chicken & Waffles. The fries are delicious and the one dessert, a deep fried s’more, is worth the trip. Kids can choose from chicken fingers or burritos, chocolate milk or juices. All the prices are really reasonable and a night out with the family doesn’t break the bank. The selection of craft beers is fantastic, there are always 4 on tap and many more in bottle. The house wine is excellent and not your standard-pub-Barefoot-variety. I ordered the Pinot Noir and it was fresh and complex. There are games, crayons and coloring books for the kids and you can come here with your children and it feels like home. One of our daughter’s loved the ring and hook game while the other enjoyed playing pool with her father. The owners are really, really friendly and warm and greet you with a smile and a wave when you walk in. The waitstaff are the same and even when it was busy, our order was brought out quickly. They really have everything here down to perfection.

Have been vacationers in the area for years but came across The Lodge for the first time last weekend. Thought we had walked into a ski lodge’s cozy après ski area! Families gathered at tables, couples having cocktails at the bar, fellas playing pool and gals at the dart board. We ordered some beers and had burritos– choose your own fillings– yummy crispy wings of all levels of savory and fiery and my daughter inhaled their fun take on chicken and waffles — mini crispy waffles paired with mild BBQ wings. Quick service, great wings, a friendly staff and a fun atmosphere! Will return soon!

First time I came here was with some friends in Feb of 2014. It’s about 5 minutes away from Windham and the perfect spot for apres ski relaxation or just a weekend getaway. I returned in Feb of 2015 to discover that it was almost exactly 1 year to the day I was last there. The experience did not disappoint. If you are hungry, the wings are of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked to be crispy yet tender and come in a variety of their own sauces(Shanghai Garlic will blow your mind) although I’m a traditional Buffalo Wing fan and it doesn’t get much better than this. Their craft beer selection was a pleasant surprise and bountiful. Whether you want to relax by the toasty wood stove or spend the night playing pool or darts, I cannot speak highly enough of this place. The lodge is run by Donnie and Lisa who are the most accommodating, pleasant and fun couple to share a drink with. You don’t come across genuine folk like these so often when you live in the city. If you’re lucky maybe you’ll get a chance to play with the their Basset Hound and two Pointers(Daisy, Duke and Dutch). I think at the very least this will be an annual tradition, however I do plan to be back during the summer to spend some time with nature. Also if you are interested in doing some hunting or fishing, Donnie is a guy you definitely want to talk to. Don’t miss out on this gem.

My family and I love the Lodge! We are there at least once a week. They even found a way to accommodate my Celiac daughter. It is a great addition to Windham.

Amazing wings and burritos. Also has a great reasonably priced beer selection. We always stop here when in town.

Everything here is good! Beer selection is excellent, fries are good, wings are cooked perfectly(super crispy on the outside and moist on the inside). The selection of sauces is fun, but we’re going to try the hot ones next time. The medium ones are just Frank’s Red Hot, so not that spicy. I also love the whole space– bar and pool table, but also a nice fireplace and comfortable chairs/couches. And there are tables if you want a full meal and don’t want to eat on your lap. The staff is also very friendly. Can’t wait to return next time we’re in the Catskills!

My husband and I were visiting Windham for the the weekend. We stayed a place across from the Copper Kettle. We read on-line that there was a place we could walk to that had beer and chicken wings. To our surprise The Lodge had an excellent assortment of craft brews in bottles and a few on tap. Great assortment of beer and at a reasonable price. We tried the chicken wings and they were so good. Nice crispy texture and sauce had good flavor. We tried 3 different kinds. We also had the nacho plate with carnitas. The carnitas were very tasty with a touch of spice. The guacamole was excellent too. Wine selection is small but the beer selection is much more attractive. They just added burritos to the menu but we never had a chance to try them. The next time we stay in Windham, we will be booking the Copper Kettle because having The Lodge near by, was a great end to an evening. Good bar snacks and tasty beer selections. Warm and cozy atmosphere. The owners are a young friendly couple that have 3 dogs. They keep the dogs away, unless guests want to see them. They are very respectful of their guests. I will be returning.
