I visited Ayom earlier in the summer. I had a wedding and needed to get my hair done. I am from out of town so I had to rely on Unilocal reviews to find a place. I came across Ayom and decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did. Anju did my hair and makeup for the wedding and it was absolutely stunning! I came in expecting a standard updo but Anju took the time to come with something very unique. Her makeup was just right, she understood my style and came up with a look that was just right for me. Now I wish I had Anju closer to home!

Darshana is an angel. I have never been more relaxed or pampered then when in her presence. I’ve never been one to treat myself to luxuries like facials but I wanted to try it so I looked for a groupon and Ayom appealed to me because they are near completely organic. After the initial groupon visit I have since been back once and hope to continue going to Darshana. The two visits have been the most relaxing hours of my life. Absolutely recommend Ayom with 5 big bright sparkling stars.

Right off US 130 and convenient to get to. Great threading job done on my eyebrows in maybe 1.5 minutes if not less! Very precise. I recommend this place! The pedicure is nice as well– good color options and very extensive pedicure job– the women were pretty friendly doing it as well. But make sure you have an hour to spend for the pedi.
The décor is Indian as are the owners so they have some nice bangles and purses on sale at the front of the store.

I went to the Robbinsville location and was treated by the owner… One advice is please communicate more when treating your customers… I was left in the room without any instructions on how long each treatment was supposed to be… It was hard to relax with so much noise outside the room… She also kept putting the lights on to check my pores and never put anything on my eyes to help with the bright lights… Usually salons put a patch on my eye and this salon didn’t do that. By the end of the treatment I could barely open my eyes… I also realized she never gave me a neck & shoulder massage which is supposed to be part of the facial package… And top of all that they charged $ 25 extra for gratuity & taxes… I guess that’s why they do that coz they know their service is not good… Lesson learned. I would not go back here for sure…

My first visit to Ayom was about a year ago during their grand opening of their Robbinsville location (there is another in Hightstown, NJ). Nice location, easy to find, easy to park, clean. I have come back many times because their eyebrow threading is the BEST and least expensive in the area. Often they have specials $ 5 or $ 7 (does not include tip). I have referred many friends because my eyebrows look awesome after each visit. I usually call the day I want to go and have an easy time getting in.
I don’t know about the other services, but the threading is definitely amazing.
