Charlie’s BBQ

Wow! Just hosted my daughter’s wedding and Charlie’s BBQ was AMAZING!!! We were 6 miles up a dirt road, but the hors d’oeurves and meal they served were beyond compare to any «city» venue. Service, food, timeliness beyond compare. Wait staff professional and courteous and plenty of help provided. Without reservations I would recommend Charlie’s BBQ for any event! Dianne C

I stayed in a time share adjacent to the restaurant. The time share said that Charlie’s delivers. The first time I ordered I got a lamb shank. I was very satisfied with my meal. A couple of days later I called at 3:30 PM to inquire about ordering shrimp scampi. The manager told me that even though it was no longer on the menu that they could prepare it since they have shrimp and pasta. She further advised me that I would have to call back at 5 PM for the dinner menu. I called back at 5 and spoke to a waiter. I told him that the manager had told me that they could prepare prepare shrimp scampi. He became argumentative and said that they only had a shrimp and chicken dish. Tired of arguing with him I ordered this dish. The order was delivered and I wound up with a child’s portion. I went to the restaurant to express my dissatisfaction and spoke to the manager. The manager became argumentative and in a snotty tone asked what I wanted her to do. I left without getting any satisfaction. I think it is ridiculous that that they consider customer satisfaction so lightly.

Finally getting around to write a review for Derek and his team. We hired him to do our reception dinner for our wedding this past weekend. The food was great and everyone really enjoyed it. Despite a few hiccups (very remote location and they were lost and late) the wedding guests didn’t even notice. In our eyes, timing was perfect. We will use them again and look forward to running into them at the Windsor Farmers Market.

THE best BBQ I’ve ever had! Tri tip sliders with sauteed onions and blue cheese?! Amazing. But most importantly their service is exceptional. Always fast and super friendly! My favorite place at the Windsor Town Green concerts!
