I really enjoy their ice cream flavors and paletas but I had the bionico and it wasn’t the best. The milky substance was bland. It tastes like just milk. It wasn’t sweet. It was fruit with milk. Should’ve read the previous review about their bionicos. Everyone has been nice there though :) definitely would’ve given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the bionico.

Can’t even give this place a star I have been living in Windsor for almost a year and have wanted to try this place but EVERY time I go by they are closed. No parking nowhere near and the day I finally got in the place I was deeply disappointed by the«bionico» I paid $ 5 for. I buy these at Fruta and they have strawberrys, bananas, grapes, mango, melon, coconut, granola, raisins, apples and pear. The guy that made mine seemed to be super stoned and my item consisted of huge chunks of apple and banana in a disgusting table cream that had no sweet taste about it whatsoever!!! I tried to call to complain several times but there is never a «manager there» I seriously don’t understand how this place can have any business at this rate sure the ice cream is probably ok but people like me that crave a nice bionico can’t depend on this place :/

The pico de gallo paleta was fantastic — fruity with just a little bit of a spicy kick. My son liked the limón and my husband really enjoyed the cajeta. I will definitely come back again when I’m in the area.

I’ve always stuck with the Fresa de Leche bars no matter where I go, and this is by far the best I’ve ever had. The ice cream tastes so fresh, and not like it’s been sitting in the freezer for days on end. They also have soooo many flavors to choose from!

The staff were great people and the chango zamorano is a must try. It’s creamy, sweet and buttery. Definitely my new favorite ice cream flavor.

Great ice cream! Very nice people running it. The cajeta was very good.

Just tried this place, and it rocked! Got the full rundown of all the flavors, and finally settled on the cajeta(caramel), and the vanilla, and both were killer. Nice texture, rich and creamy, and nice value for the money. A great new addition to Windsor!

A refreshing twist on an artisan ice cream. A unique addition well at home, adding to the charm that is the Windsor Town Green. LOVE this place. This is a must for visitors or for locals riding bikes into town. Talk about a home grown local shop. Well worth the trip, one won’t be disappointed :)

Strawberry was great. Rum raisin was too intense for me, but I can see others liking it a lot. Overall, a wonderful addition to downtown Windsor, and definitely my preferred local ice cream place from now on.

Incredible depth of flavor and a lot of very unique flavors. Intense and delicious. I had cheese ice cream and caramel. $ 4.75 for a double scoop. Single scoop of pineapple coconut for $ 2.75 and a coconut bar for $ 2.00. $ 9.50 total for an excellent after dinner treat. Super nice family owned and operated business.

NIeves Mexican Ice Cream opens in upscale Windsor. they offer 24 flavors of natural ice cream, no artificial ingredients.(am assuming this, no signs here mention this) and 8ish ice bars. samples freely given. pricing: one scoop(2.75), 2 scoops(4.75), ice bars: didn’t notice price. licks: cappuccino(2.75/scoop) –natural tasting, sweet, nuts present too no aftertaste, full flavored. –scoop kind of small, like the old thrifty’s drips: –no seating available inside –red zone in front, no parking lot around –located near busy intersection –shop too small to have a manufacturing facility –assume ice cream sourced from 3rd party. –friendly service.
