Had my home in Petaluma appraised by Chris of Norcal-​Appraisers in Windsor. Came in at a very low value and unable to refinance as a result. Real Estate comps in the area were much higher and surprised at the value. Think he might have taken the fast and easy route to appraisal instead of a detailed assessment. Based on how low mortgage rates are today, do you really want to gamble with an appraiser that could do to you, what he did to me? Suggest using anyone other than Norcal-​Appraisers.
