I originally purchased fan shades to cover 2 huge transom windows in my house — one of which was in my daughters room. It became so hot and bright in there it rendered the room useless until about 8pm at night. Someone told me to just get my windows tinted. He suggested I have all the west facing windows tinted and came out the next week to do the job. He was in and out within 5 hours, he did all the set up and clean up afterward too. His price was very reasonable; the tint immediately cut down on heat and light and I’m sure that we will save in energy costs as well and it also provides some privacy as you cannot see in due to the mirrored effect from the outside.
