Spokes

This little spot in Windsor, CO has saved our bike trips twice by replacing flat tires on the spot while we waited. We have little kids and don’t like to promise bike riding then have to cancel on account of equipment failure. I really appreciated their replacing inter tubes and tires in just a few minutes.

Spokes is an awesome bike shop. They really know how to make a bike glide. I would tell my elementary school teacher to go there. Spokes is a great part of the Windsor community

I needed to tune-​up my bike after having it stored for a while while I moved from another state. The cashier explained what levels of tune-​up they offered and told me it would be ready within two days (it was a holiday weekend). To my surprise, the owner called me the next day and told me my bike was ready! Their price was reasonable and they were very kind when I came back, even loading my bike for me onto my bike rack, since I purchased an extender bar and wasn’t sure how to use it. I would highly recommend this store.

Great little bike shop. The service is very friendly and helpful. They carry Felt bikes which are a great brand. Highly recommended.

After having an awful experience at Full Cycle in Boulder on Pearl Street, we eventually found the exact bike we were looking for all the way up at Spokes in Windsor, CO. It was an hour long drive each way for us to get there, but it was well worth it, as we were greeted by a very friendly staff, in an extremely clean and organized bike shop; all of these usually being a rarity at most bike shops. The person who helped us could not have been nicer, took the time to explain everything about the bike to us, and even took extra preventative measures against road thorns for us by lining the insides of our tires with «goo» so we don’t get a flat if we’re out riding. This was our first time ever visiting Spokes, but the next time we’re bike shopping we won’t even consider going anywhere other than here, as we had excellent service and found the perfect bike at a great price in mint condition. Couldn’t be happier with Spokes!

I try to shop local, especially for big ticket items so when my parents wanted to buy my 6 and 4 year old children new bikes for Christmas last year, we first went to Spokes.
My mom, son, daughter and I went into the store around 11am. The employee was with who I thought was another customer so we began to browse the selection. After 10 minutes we had still not been even acknowledged by the employee and what more, it was apparent that the person with which he was conversing was not a customer, rather, a friend. We made it quite obvious, without being intrusive or rude that we were there to BUY. I stood to the side, waiting politely for the employee (whom I suspect was the owner) to acknowledge my presence– he never did. My mother left the store with the children and as I followed them out the door was THEN asked «can I help you with something.» I returned his way too late greeting with «not anymore.» What a bummer, they lost out on not only one, but the sale of TWO brand new bikes and potential future business when I purchase a new bike for myself.
Disgusted, we went instead to Lee’s in Ft. Collins where we were shown excellent customer service.
