PowerHouse Internet Cafe

This place is much needed for last minute late night Internet/​printing needs. Like another Unilocaler said, kind of a weird vibe. Not the most organized place by selling really random things from scarves to batteries to detergent.
The upside of this spot is I like the owner. She is polite & easy to talk to. I’ve had their Apple cheesecake which is the BOMB! They have cheesecakes of different flavors including snickers, strawberry, plain, etc. Coffee is really good too. Their hours are great too. They stay open late for a local place so it’s convenient.
The bad: Thai iced tea wasn’t anything near authentic. Tasted very weird. Other customers may like it but it taste more like a green tea smoothie made with condensed milk, so I don’t recommend it. Also very messy & unorganized. The layout isn’t the best & it’s pretty much a cross between a convenient store/​coffee shop/​99 cent store.
Overall I would rate 3 stars, they get plus 1 star for hours of operation & meeting the community needs for being the only Internet café in the local Winnetka/​Canoga Park area.

The tea isn’t too good, and the overall atmosphere is just a little weird. The staff is nice, but this place has a weird vibe to it… Made me feel uncomfortable. Plus the grocery inside is just plain bizarre!

I called to ask if they have a private room available for private parties and the lady who answered goes «this is a coffee shop, not an apartment.»

I am a loyal customer and the owners and staff are great. There is weird a group of people that occasionally hang out there but that’s b/​c of a home in the area that houses mentally ill patients. If not it would of been rated 5 out of 5. The owners do work their hardest to make sure your happy and keep the enviroment clean, safe and enjoyable.

its okay if you need to get online or print something quickly. $ 3 an hour for internet access. however the environment is plain shabby, and the staff is awful. go elsewhere if you can. also crackheads love to hang around outside for some reason…

Best Ice Blended Mocha in the whole San Fernado Valley, and custom blended drinks, nesbitt’s sodas, bulldog root bear, Teas, Coffees, Sandwitches, Fruit Salads, outdoor patio, great customer service, pastries, ice cream, awsome cheescake, homemade muffins, $ 1.49 all beef hot dogs, personal pizzas, breakfast, lunch & dinner. hrs 7am-​10pm. Cross street is Winnetka. Close to Peirce college & northridge university. Very Clean. Computer repair, coputer purchase.
